I can not open mutiple tabs -- please help
When I go to a site and I want to open another tab or tabs, to go to a different site I can not. But if I am in an email and I click on enclosed hyper links, multiple tabs will open. What can I do to fix this issue?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.

Can Not Open Logic. Please Help
I recently upgaded from Express 7 to Express 8. Had it running. Even managed to record a complete song. Was going to start on a new project tonight, but when I armed the track in logic I got a nasty feedback loop, so I went ahead and shut down the computer by holding down the power button since I could not disarm the track (spinning beach ball). When I powered up my mac and tried to launch logic, I got nothing. The icon just bounces in the dock a couple of times and nothing more. I even went ahead and reinstalled both express 7 & 8, and still nothing. Can someone help troubleshoot this problem for me? I would appreciate it greatly.
For future reference try not to shut down that way - you can usually force quit by click holding the icon in the dock - it sometimes takes a couple of tries and sometimes you need to hold down the control key too.

You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.
Since iWeb has discontinued by Apple the new systems don't handle the iWeb preference pane as it was in earlier. The script corrects that situation and once you open the domain file the first time you can just use iWeb to open it from there on. However, you'll need it if you plan on using more than one domain file. And adhear to the warning above. -

Did you upgrade to Lion just before setting up iCloud? that's more likely to be the issue. PhotoShop CS2 is a PPC program and won't run on Lion - on Snow Leopard it requires Rosetta to emulate PPC, and this is not included in Lion. CS3 and lateer apparently work though with issues.
Click on the program's icon in the Finder and hit command-i. Near the top of the pane it will say 'Kind': if it says 'PowerPC' then this is the problem. It will not run on Lion and there is no workaround. You will need to revert to Snow Leopard (you could install this on an external disk and start up from that). -
I can not open new tabs in my current window. I have to open a whole new session to open additional web pages. Links work and will open in separate tabs, but I can not start a new tab. Please advise!!!!!

Try a reset or reboot.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -

This is how I do it: With all the video & still's in the time line, I click on each (even if I have to use the command key and click on each file). When each file is active I go under SHARE- go to EXPORT MEDIA- I use the Apple Pro Res codec 4:2:2. If you do not click on each file in the time line it will not be exported out.

In that case only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all.
You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.

There is no solution other than having the device cleared by the former owner. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.
