I stopped family sharing, but I still receive a message that I belong to a family when I try to change the country for my new credit card. Help please.
Sometimes logging out of iTunes can free up the editing.

If your device is signed into an old iCloud ID, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID*, do the following:
Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).
* If that's not the case, you'll have to contact the Apple account security team and ask for assistance resetting the password for the old ID: Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security. You'll have to be able to prove your identity to them before they will do this. -
For a week now I've not been able to change my billing address or information OR change the credit card I wish to use on itunes. I've tried resetting the cache and warning messages, restarting my machine, and contacting itunes support. This is rediculous. I recieved an e-mail 4 days later saying that I couldn't use that credit card? The funny thing is, I have another account that can... So why can't I change it on this account? This is my main account and I want to use my main credit card. So finally they just deleted my old credit card information. This is fine, but I still can't add a credit card or even just change my billing information. This is absolutely ********. How hard is it to have your customers edit form information and store it in your database? Seriously, I'm so upset right now. Apple is known for being user friendly, how is this user friendly? I can't change my own billing information? I also feel like I'm one of the only people in my group of friends that actually pays for all of their music/movies, but now I can't even do that? This is so upsetting. Apple, I'm so disappointed in you.
Ok, so I finally got help on this issue. Basically, I had tried to edit my credit card information, and it secretly locked my account. After finally getting a hold of a representative through the chat service on the support site, I was able to get this fixed. I had been previously helped by someone through e-mail, but that was a complete waste of time. Go for the chat service, it's a million times better. They were able to release the secret block on my account...from trying to change my own information so that I could change it and be on my way. Anyway, I hope this helps.

I need to change the country for my Apple store account but this message appears "You have a store credit balance; you must spend your balance before you can change stores." but my credit is 1.58$ only and I couldn't buy any app with this amount! Thanks a lot for your help ,What country are you in ? If you are in the US then you can only use the US iTune store, and you can't use a Canadian credit card with the US store - a credit card needs to have been issued by a bank in the country where you are.
If you are in Canada then remove your old credit card from your account and then update your country/region and billing address on your account e.g. by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your phone and 'view Apple id' on the popup, or via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes -

Hi, I move from Brazil to Qatar and keep using my account at Brazil since I have a credit card there and the old address.
Today Ireceived a message when I was updating my app at my iPad that I should change my payment method that was rejected (???), I try to update and keep the same message... So now maybe better to use address and card from Qatar.
I could not understand how can I change the country and shop since everything at the address is linked to Brazil.
Also I'm afraid to lose the installed app...
Please, a step by step will help a lot, I have a very low computer experience ...You won't lose apps that are installed. You will lose the ability to update them
Business with the App stores is restricted to those stores in your formal country of residence (your billing address) and a bank supported credit card from that same country. You can buy and update apps with those details only in that country.
If you have established residences and bank supported accounts in other countries you can also use those. You can buy and update apps in those countries using those details.
You cannot interchange them. You cannot merge IDs or purchase details. -

i now have 0.34 cents left on the account and that is pretty much useless to me. Did you actually watch the movie? You get 30 days in which to view it and if you didn't watch it, that could be why you are getting that message. If you have watched the movie and you're sure that is has expired by now, contact iTunes Store Support and seek their help.

Now, system will ask for new password to change.
If you are asking from Basis point of view, then T.code: SU01 - User Maintenance.
Enter User's id and Click Change icon.
It will lead to Page: Maintain User.
Here, Select tab: Logon Data
There is a Sub-Tab: Password.
Here, key-in change password and SAVE.
For Language and Date format, contact your Basis-Personnel.
