I can't find "Feedback" button after update from beta7 to beta8

I updated my FF4 beta7 to beta 8 and feedback button has been removed from navigation panel. And now I can't find this button anywhere.

Known issue.

Can't find mails anymore after update from Tiger to Leopard

I've just updated my IMac from Tiger to Leopard (OSX 10.5.6).
After opening the Mail program I just see the menu bar (no window for the postbox).
When I open the postbox via the menu bar, the box is just empty. Are my mails gone? Where can I find or restore them?

Let's force an overall reindexing via the removal of the Envelope Index. Note the special instructions when forcing the reindexing of IMAP or Exchange accounts in the following:

This will force the reindexing of all the POP mailboxes and all On My Mac mailboxes. With regard to any IMAP accounts if you have any, the practical result of this action of removing the account folder, is that with the IMAP account still set up in the Preferences, Mail will connect to the IMAP server and create a new account folder, and while doing so will index the messages in the mailbox folders of the IMAP accounts on the server.

Notes appears blank when open it. Help says they should have transferred from Mail, but they haven't.

Wicd can't find hidden network after update to 1.6.2.2-1 [Solved]

Hi, everybody
I have a problem with wicd after last night update from 1.6.2-1 to 1.6.2.2-1. I am using wireless with hidden ESSID on my linksys wrt54gl. After update to new version WICD can't find my hidden network when I go Network - Find a hidden network . My router stays hidden.
I downgrade to 1.6.0.2 as a temporary solution and it works with no problems. Does anybody else have a same problem?
Another strange thing that I didn't notice before. We have 2 computers (other one is imac with osx) that use wireless connection on same router. Yesterday I notice that my connection (wicd 1.6.2.1 on eeepc) is dropping now and then when other computer is using safari to surf?! Thats why I downgrade so low to 1.6.0.2. Any ideas?

Especially this was fixed in 1.6.2.2, so this is very strange that it doesn't work anymore. Maybe you can try this, it was mentioned in another thread which helped some people:

That shouldn't be a problem which comes from wicd. wicd only uses wpa_supplicant stuff under the hood to connect to a network.

Update 10.1: Can't find my projects after updating

Hi, I updated all of my media/projects to 10.1 (By having it search the drive for old media/projects)--and I have access to my events/clips in the new FCPX library system (including from my external HD), but I can't find any of my old projects... it's as if they weren't updated to the Library system or something. Even when I try to manually locate and update the project files, final cut says that it cannot find any projects to update... meaning the projects are updated? Then why don't they show up in my library?

Lamothe - I seem to be getting closer on this: I created a new "Final Cut Events" and "Final Cut Projects" folders and placed just one corresponding folder in each (one project/event, respectively), then selected "update all" and FCPX did update THAT event. The trouble is NONE of the original files linked so now I am struggling through that process. For years now I have used Aperture to store and organize my project files (stills & video clips) but, at least at the moment, FCPX doesn't seem to want to look at Aperture and so I am having significant difficulty with relinking my files....but at least I'm getting closer. I may just transfer all the files from Aperture into the corresponding event or project folder and see if that helps....
Also, I don't think it's a good practice to have your media files on your main boot drive if in fact your "Macintosh HD" is the boot drive. FCPX will function much better with the addition of a second drive, either internal or external. Best of luck to you.

I have an older i touch, and can't find icloud even after updating my itunes

i have an older itouch that I am trying to get to use icloud. i have updated my pc to the newest itunes and synced the ipod, but i still can't find how to get icloud on there.

It might be too old to operate iCloud. Make sure you are using IOS 5 or IOS 5.01.Those are the on IOS's that can run iCloud. Hope this helps!!

Can't find 7510 Photosmart after updating Mac to OS X Yosemite

Since updating to OS X 10 Yosemite, my 7510 Photosmart has not worked via wireless connection for printing or scanning.
I've uninstalled everything and reset the printers. I've now tried to reinstall, but HP Utility still can't find the printer wirelessly.
I clicked Specify Device Manually and entered the IP address under IPv4 from the HP Network Configuration Page that I printed direct from the device, but it says 'Device is not reachable.'
The printer is turned on and is connected to the same wireless network as my MacBook Air.

I can't find my photos after update

I have iPhone 4 and I've updated from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1 and restored. after the whole updating then restoring process there were no photos or videos !
Is there any solution ?

They should be on your computer.
Just sync them to your iphone.

Why can't 4.01 connect after updating from Firefox 4? I must use a system restore to get back online with Firefox 4, using Vista Home Basic SP2.

Firefox is my default browser. Recently I updated from 3.5 to 4.0 with no problem. Then, using 4.0, the new update notice appeared. I clicked to update to 4.01, but after downloading, 4.01 could no longer connect to any web page, and displayed the error connecting message (including "server may be busy, wait and try again" etc.). It never did connect. Yet Internet Explorer was able to, which I loathe to use even as a back up browser. I also checked to see if IE9 had stolen the default browser association, but it hadn't. I was hoping I could blame Microsoft's shenanigans, oh well!
I then did a system restore from a point a few days prior, and 4.0 was up and running like before.
Twice thereafter, I tried to update again manually, using Help/About Firefox/Check for Updates. The same thing happened.
I'm content for now to stick with 4.0. FYI & FWIW, I tried to provide this feedback to Mozilla at another page, and was told I must have "the latest version" in order to submit feedback. I'm glad I found this way of letting you know of this repeated problem.

ITunes can't find some songs after update

So I've read a bit about this and it's happened to me now. I did the recent iTunes upgrade and now random song files can't be found. The " ! "shows up here and there. Now when I search for that particular song, I can find and play it. It's just that maybe it was renamed or something? I cannot manually do this since I have almost 40,000 songs on a separate HD. 99% ripped from my CD collection.
Why or how does this happen? I've been adding to my iTunes HD for 7 years or so and this was the first time this has happened.
Anyway I read a few suggestions and so I just deleted all the music from itunes BUT saved the files and now adding all of them back which will probably take 10-15 hours. It says "organizing files" wil it's a very long haul.
Will this work and will iTunes then again know where all of my songs are?

Well I researched and had to "delete" the 40,000 songs from my itunes list BUT saved the files. It took 20 hours for them to repair and then were fixed in one place with no "!" What a pain.

Can't find airport on after updating to leopard

I just did an install of 10.5 on a separate internal drive, turned airport on but can't locate any networks but if I reboot with 10.4 all is fine. My daughter's g4 laptop works fine as well from the same location.
We have just moved and it's taken 3 weeks to get phone connected and then to wait for internet to be switched so I was just hoping I could plug it in and away we went.
Any suggestions

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email account and verify it. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.
