I can't find pixel bender under my filter list..

I installed pixel bender by right clicking the extension manager and running as administrator. Then I selected the file (pixel bender) to install. Everything seemed to work fine, but when I'm done, Pixelbender is nowhere to be found under the filter menu. I checked the 32 bit and 64 bit CS5, but it's not there. Any ideas?

Yes, I did use Extension Manger CS5. I right clicked extension manager and ran as administrator. It show the file (pixel bender) and install it. I have tried re-installing and it tells me there is already a version installed. I've overwritten that version with no luck. I've re-downloaded pixel bender and re-installed, with no luck. If I go to Program Files>adobe/adobe photoshop CS5 (64bit)>Plug-Ins>Filters, there is a Pixel Bender.8bf file. However, It is not in my filters list on CS5. Also, there is a Pixel Bender file in Program Files>Adobe>Adobe Photoshop CS5. It is Called Pixel Bender Files.

Sorry if this item has been discussed before, but After installing Pixel Bender (via the Extension Manager) I can't find it under the Filter menu.
My system meets the requirements, my video card drivers are up tp date, The Photoshop CS 5 Extended version is 12.0.1 (32x).
The Extension Manager panel shows Pixel Bender and it is checked.
I removed and reinstalled it several times but with no succes. Does anyone know what to do next?

In PS CS5 after closing I get a warning that the application has crashed (adobeowl.dll). Contacted Adobe about this but got no reply. Lightroom crashes when using the Detail Masking slider (posted that in the appropriate forum). This doesn't seem to get fixed either.
Pixel Bender won't install and I just give up, don't want to waste any more time by visiting yet another forum.
I guess Windows XP is not really supported by Adobe. And there are problems with Win 7 too, I read. Maybe it's better to switch to Mac and use Aperture in combination with The Gimp?

This message is occuring because you are using a version of ASP.NET which is newer than was available at the time of the 2.1 Web Controls release (1.1SP1). Normally this portlet would not function, however I expect you have another portlet on the page which is running in an older version so it is using the older includes (which are fine in this case).
What you need to do is generate a WebUIValidation.js for the newer framework. You can do this by going to your portlet server and running JSGenerator.exe (located in plumtree\ptwc\2.1\bin) - this should detect the new framework (1.1.4322.2032), so select this. Then click generate - it will generate a new WebUIValidation.js file & tell you where to put it. I believe this should also be covered in the documentation with the web controls.

The browser.bookmarks.file preference does not exist by default. Right-click in about:config and select "New > String" to create it.

If you are logged in with your number, then the backup assistant will give you the contacts that are backed up for that number. Is this what you mean by "messaging list"?
If you want to see the backup contact list for the OTHER numbers, then you need to register for a MyVerizon for EACH number (choosing from the drop down is NOT the same!)
To register the other numbers, you need to log out of your account (and may have to close the browser as well), then go to verizonwireless.com, and click REGISTER. Enter the other number(s) on your account and set up a username and password, and you will then be able to see the backup for THAT number only.
Secondary lines will see limited information on MyVerizon, and unless you have designated that number as a manager, they will not have all the options you do as the primary number.

When I click on the download for pixel bender for CS4, it downloads the one for CS5. Can someone give me the correct file to download? I need one for both 32 bit and 64 bit (two different computers). Thanks!

Thanks for the summary--it definitely helped. The problem you are describing is well known and has been discussed, documented, and resolved many times and in many places. You need to run Adobe Extension Manager CS4 as administrator (right-click the Adobe Extension Manager executable and select "Run as administrator" from the contextual menu) in order to install the Extension. This is necessary because of the elevated privileges required to access the Program Files directory and sub-directories. Can't find zoom effect under effects video transition.

I'm using V6.0.5 for Mac. I wanted to use zoom effect on a movie clip but can't find the zoom effect under Effects > video transition tab. I dunno what's wrong.

This was corrected in I believe CC 2014.

Can't download Pixel Bender for CS5

I've tried clicking directly on the link on the Adobe downloads page for Pixel Bender and also the links offered in the forum. Same result each time, a very long page of mostly question marks comes up but no other indication that PB is downloading. I have Photoshop 12.0.4 x 64. I checked to make sure the Adobe Extension Manager CS5 is in my Applications folder and it is. What am I doing wrong?

I can't find my webservice under the wsnavigator

I have created my firs web service following the steps explained in [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f5/30c5aca7f92f418d889b99ccc9ee08/frameset.htm|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/f5/30c5aca7f92f418d889b99ccc9ee08/frameset.htm] and deployed it but when I try to test it in the wsnavigator I can't find it.
Anybody has any idea of what is missing? As I said, is my first webservice and maybe I forget to do something (anyway, I have checked all with my mates and nobody has found nothing wrong).

By the way, I have created a dummy WD application to test the Bean and calling the methods of my session bean from the WD works fine, but in the wsnavigator thw WS didn't appear.
I tried to enter the URL to the WSDL and I get the following error:
Cannot download WSDL from http://xxxx:50100/ExpedientesWS/Config1?wsdl: Invalid Response Code: (404) Not Found. The request URL was:"http://xxxx:50100/ExpedientesWS/Config1?wsdl". Check, whether the URL is correct, and the Web Service that you are requesting is up and running.
