I can't get digital editions to let me log in to authorise my computer, error message " e auth not ready, any ideas?

I'm trying to get this to allow me to share ebooks from my computer with my ereader, but this error just won't go away! I've reinstalled, I've rebooted, nothing helped. Any ideas?

Is this a dedicated ereader, or a tablet with ereader capabilities.
A dedicated ereader should show up as a device in the left pane of ADE (Digital Editions).
You must then register the device, Make sure ADE itself is authorized, then use 'menu/Help/Authorize Device' ('Library/Authorize Device' on the older more reliable ADE1.7.2)
Most tablets don't get seen by ADE at all.
You need to install an Adobe DRM compatible app (Bluefire seems most reliable, there are also Aldiko and Overdrive) and register that with your Adobe ID.
Then transfer books from then computer using file manager (Windows Explorer, Mac Finder) to the tablet which should show up as a mounted drive when plugged in by USB.

Please follow the steps:
1. Turn off the iMessage and FaceTime.
2. If your tel # are not yet addeded to your contact list please do so. Make sure that you select iPhone not mobile.
3. Change your My Info(Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendar>My Info) by selecting your created contact.
4. Go to Setting>Phone. Check if your number is reflected in My Number. Then turn on your Show My Caller ID and also the International Assist.
5. make sure that your apple ID are login in Store under Settings.
6. Once your done, close all apps using the double tapping of home button.
7. Hard reset your iPhone.
8. After your iPhone boot. Check if you have Internet connection and then turn on your FaceTime then iMessage.
9. Activate by logging in your apple ID.
10. Done and enjoy the features of IOS5.

Is it off in Settings>Messages?
Is the Date & Time correct on your iPhone? if not, it won't be able to make secure connections.
Try testing on another Wi-Fi network.

Can't Authorize ADE 3.0 on Windows 8.1 64 bit - Error is E-Auth Not Ready

The laptop is brand new, never had ADE authorized before. I've had this problem on other PCs as well and haven't been able to solve it.

ZOMG! YAY! GOT IT INSTALLED!
I was just about to wipe and start over and try installing .NET 3.5 as the first thing before any updates etc... when I thought I'd do one last search.
I then found an MS article that said about doing an offline install for Win8, I took a look only to discover they referred to the DISM method. However I double checked the DISM command and it was the same as what I had been trying except for 1 thing, the
/limitaccess argument on the article was *after* the /source argument where as I had placed it before.
I mounted the Win8.1 Pro 64bit ISO again, ran DISM with the arguments in the same order as the MS article and it did its usual thing of going straight to 65.5% complete and then it stays there for a while. I was waiting for about a minute, then 2 minutes,
my hope was growing, and then I nearly shed a tear when the progress went up to 66.5% and eventually 100%.

Following the recent iTunes upgrade I am getting two error messages (-42404) and (-50). Any ideas how to rectify?

Using iTunes for the first time since the upgrade I am plagued with error messages - one telling me that a required component is not installed (-42404) and a second that my iTunes store request cannot be completed (-50). I've reset my old iPod as the message tells me but am reluctant to do that on my iPhone and risk loosing content. I've uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes but it's made no difference. Thanks A LOT!! I have been going crazy for the past hour trying to understand why I kept getting that error message when I tried to authorize my computer. I even contacted customer service through chat but they couldn't help me.
So yes, same thing as you : the way to finally manage to authorize the computer was to CHANGE THE TIME. Actually, funnily enough, what worked for me was changing the Time Zone. I think it's based on what address or city you give when you register.
For example, for me, I had the right time for my city, but the wrong Time Zone. Once everything matched, it worked.
So for those of you who get that "REQUEST_EXPIRED" error message, you now know what to do!

Verify you are using iPhoto11 ver 9.5
if not run the >Software update or check your apps folder and make sure the correct iPhoto is launched, not an older ver.

I have a JTextField added as an editor to a cell in JTable.
I value gets changed when I press enter.
but in actionPerformed of the JTextField when I say

I guess, your understanding of how JTable works together with its models is not good enough - for example the method getTableCellEditorComponent(...) of the TableCellEditor interface is used to get the component, that should be used as editing component - its second parameter is a value that should be used to setup the editing component - it is normally not the editing component itself.
JTable uses an underlying TableModel to store the cell values - if you have edited a cell, JTable gets the value of the editing component by itself and stores it in the TableModel using its setValueAt(...) method. To retrieve this data you only need to query the TableModel using row and column of this cell as parameters
say jt is your JTable, and row and column are the row and column of the cell - so to get the value, simply use
Object obj = jt.getModel().getValueAt(row,column);
if you know, that there is a String in this cell use
String str = (String) jt.getModel().getValueAt(row,column);
The editor component is used for the view of the JTable - you only want the data, which is stored in the model - you don't have to deal with the GUI components in this case.

Outlook is just an e-mail client, just like the mail app on the iphone.
Your e-mail comes into your e-mail account, which you access from both Outlook and the Mail app.

I'm having same problem with new iPad Mini. My public library that I connect with suggested that maybe I have too many devices (only allowed 6) attached to the Adobe ID, even though this is not the error message I'm getting. In fact, I generally don't get an error message at all, I login to OverDrive, then try and authorize my Adobe ID, which then takes me back to the OverDrive login window, and repeat. I must have tried about 20 times by now. My next step will be to contact Adobe Live Support and have them reset all my devices, just in case that's what the problem actually is.
