I can't log in to my Frontier email account from my ipad mini. It goes to mg.mail.yahoo.com but the page stays white.

I've been with this service for nearly 2 years now and the problems just mount up. I had an account for close to 2 years on EE itself which suddenly does not exist. Advised by customer service agents to 'Sign up' for a new one. Try signing up, get to enter Bank account details - can only put in 4 digits. In what millenia were bank account numbers only 4 digits long? Why am I wasting an hour of my time fault finding for your developers? I should charge you £50 a hour for this waste of my time. Fire your project manager for this new website revamp, fire the developers and get someone in who can transition accounts from one system to another without destroying the whole user experience. Absolute disgrace, don't message me about Apps and how I should log in to my account for offers when I can't do any of that. I would advise anyone new to EE here to cancel your account within the 14 day grace period, you'll have neverending issues from fake data charges, extortionate roaming costs, somehow paying for data when on Wifi and much more.

    What happens when you try to log in ? I'm able to log in ok on my first gen iPad.
    You could try clearing Safari's cache : Settings > Safari > Clear Cache (and Clear History) - Clear Cookies and Data in iOS 5
    If that doesn't work then try closing Safari completely and then re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with Safari 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Safari app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
    A third option is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

    I have created three new users without Apple IDs and they can't log into either of my Macbook Pro or Mac Mini running Mountain Lion.  These accounts are for my kids and originally were setup with parental controls and time constraints.  Thinking this was the problem I removed the time constraints, removed the parental controls, deleted and re-added them, and made them standard users.  I have reinstalled, used disk utility to repair permissions, and made them admins.   Any help is appreciated.

    Users don't need Apple ID's. That's not the issue. Have you tried repairing permissions their accounts?

    I am also experiencing this issue. I signed out to attempt fixing a sync problem, and now I can't sign back in. I receive the same message. I thought it might be related to work vs home network connections, so I tried the following:
    disconnected all network connections/reconnecting
    deleted wireless connection (only used Ethernet)
    cleared the DNS cache: sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
    Was still not able to sign in. Anyone have any other ideas to offer?

    Tried eveyrhting and this was the way that fixed it for me --
    if you are having an issue adding the yahoo mail account on an iphone/ ipad / ipod.
    In the app store download the yahoo mail app for iphone (it works on ipads and ipods as well.. but there's only an iphone version).  After downloading it - open and sign in.  It's likely it will say that your yahoo account is 'locked' due to suspicious activity - follow the prompts to unlock it.
    Now add the yahoo account under the ipad mail settings.
    It should work in the regular ipad, iphone, ipod mail application now.

  • HT201320 how can i stop automatic configuration of email accounts on my ipad...the ports are not correct and i cannot access my email

         i cannot get my "frontier" email account set up on my ipad so that i cannot either or receive email.  Frontier says that the "automatic" verifying tool puts the wrong ports in and that is why i cannot get or send emails from the ipad.  We know we have the correct name and password in but when in comes to verifying, an error message comes up and says "the wrong user name or password has been entered".
          How do i disable the automatic set up of email so i can be assured the correct ports are enabled?

    -Tap "Settings" app,
    -Select "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" option on the left hand side,
    -On the right, under "Accounts" on top, tap "Add Account...",
    -Select one of the email service providers or "Other",
    -Under "Mail", tap "Add Mail Account",

    Where are you trying to log in? You should be able to change your ID at http://appleid.apple.com - can you log in there?
    Before you change your ID you should log out of the iTunes Store and on any devices which are logged into iCloud. Then once you've changed it you can log back in with the new ID. (Your iCloud synced data will disappear from the device when you do this but will reappear when you sign back in - give it time).
    If you are unable to sign into http://appleid.apple.com you will need to contact Support. Go to http://iforgot.apple.com and sign in with your iCloud login. A new password will be sent to your associated email address. If this doesn't work you will have to contact Support. Go to https://getsupport.apple.com .     I've been using the Firefox browser for nearly a year now but for the past three days I can't open my tiscali email account via Firefox. The message "you have undefined new mails in your inbox" comes up. Talk Talk technical help says there is a problem with Firefox and advised me to use Internet Explorer. I can get into my account through Explorer but would much prefer to use Firefox so please help me out.

    Apparently TalkTalk mail will work with Firefox 4 and Firefox 5 ''if'' you set the browser to ''lie'' to TalkTalk mail by saying that you are still using version 3.6.
    You can find the instructions for that in a post on the TalkTalk forums: [http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=185113#post2452787 Firefox 4 & TalkTalk webmail - Forums].
    Note: when you open about:config the first time, it will display a warning message that you should be careful with the changes you make. That's definitely good to bear in mind.
