I can't log out of my iTunes on my old laptop because it has a virus and won't turn on, and this means i can't add/sync new music to my iPod on my new laptop.

Any third-party software that doesn't install by drag-and-drop into the Applications folder, and uninstall by drag-and-drop to the Trash, is a system modification.
Whenever you remove system modifications, they must be removed completely, and the only way to do that is to use the uninstallation tool, if any, provided by the developers, or to follow their instructions. If the software has been incompletely removed, you may have to re-download or even reinstall it in order to finish the job.
Here are some general guidelines. Suppose you want to remove something called “BrickYourMac.” First, consult the product's Help menu, if there is one, for instructions. Finding none there, look on the developer's website, say www.brickyourmac.com. (That may not be the actual name of the site; if necessary, search the Web for the product name.) If you don’t find anything on the website or in your search, contact the developer. While you're waiting for a response, download BrickYourMac.dmg and open it. There may be an application in there such as “Uninstall BrickYourMac.” If not, open “BrickYourMac.pkg” and look for an Uninstall button.
You may have to log out or reboot in order to complete an uninstallation.
If you can’t remove software in any other way, you’ll have to erase your boot volume and perform a clean reinstallation of OS X. Never install any third-party software unless you're sure you know how to uninstall it; otherwise you may create problems that are very hard to solve.
Trying to remove complex system modifications by hunting for files by name often will not work and may make the problem worse. The same goes for "utilities" that purport to remove software.

You'll want to copy the music from your iPod to your computer and into iTunes first. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering some of the different methods and software available to assist you with this task. Once you have successfully copied all your content back to your PC and into iTunes, you can safely Erase and Sync your iPod.

My laptop was stolen and I want to put music on my ipod from my new computer, however I do not want to lose all my music I already have on my ipod because some of it was not purchased from the itunes store. How can I put the new music I have purchased on my Ipod withot removing the old music?

I can't log out from a gmail acount on firefox. Support suggested to activate cookies, but they were anyway activated and I can't find any solution.

While I am trying to log out from a gmail account on firefox , a new tab pops out informing me about problem with the cookies options. I couldn't follow the instructions in the tab, because I couldn't find anything of the suggestion in the options menu. Then I checked everything that online mozilla support suggested and nothing seems to be wrong with the cookies, they are activated. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion. Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to do this, not good, then you can transfer itunes purchases from an ipod: File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do a Google search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links.
Once the song files are on your new computer, add them to your iTunes library. Then, you can sync the iPod and iPhone to that iTunes library.
NOTE: For any previous song purchases from the iTunes Store, you can re-download them at no cost from the iTunes Store Purchased screen. You need to be signed in using the same Apple ID used for purchasing.

If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync. I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.

Mouse not active on top 1/4 of page. Won't give a pointing finger there. Can't log out or use any of the tabs at the top of a page. Internet Explorer does not do this, but we like your browser better. We just downloaded an update and the problem persists.

On this page we cannot log out or use the search box or pick desktop or mobile. Once we get down to the "firefox help/forum" level the pointing finger comes up and we can activate a mouse click there. Above that nothing.

The Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause this issue. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

Restore the media on the new computer using the backup of your media from your old computer.
The iPod, like all iDevices is not a storage device, it is merely a mirror of the content in your iTunes library.
If not backup exists:
On the new computer, sign into your iTunes account and Authorize the computer.
Cconnect the iPod but do not sync.
Select File > Transfer purchases.
Any media not purchased from iTunes or ripped from CD's will be lost, but at least you will retain your iTunes purchases.
