I can't put music on my BRAND NEW ipod shuffle cause it's says it seems damaged and i have to restaure it. but it doesn't doesn't change anything.. :(

It's not normal, but am I the only one who have that problem?
when I connect it on the computer it only says "resume" and then "restaure" i don't have any other choice and it still come back there. what can i do?

Well, I don't know if that's a software or hardware problem. You should take it to Apple Genius Bar or send it to service center. And one more thing, Its not synch...... Its Sync... Just saying... It would help if you send pictures of the problem. Such as the screen of iTunes saying it's syncing. It will help everyone and me...

Brand new iPod Shuffle is not recognized by iTunes and Win XP Laptop

I have iPod nano and iTunes 7. Just got a brand new iPod Shuffle (2nd Gen). Neither iTunes nor my laptom recognize the iPod Shuffle - it is not even getting charged. I tried all the tips from the offical support, but nothing works.
Should I just throw it away and get a new one or is there a way to make it work?

Brand new ipod shuffles won't hold a charge

I've bought and returned 2 ipod 4th generation shuffles because they won't hold a charge for more than 1.5 hrs after I charged them overnight. Those were brand new ipods and I use them for the gym. Why aren't they holding a charge? Has anyone else had these problems? They are supposed to have a long battery charge. I don't want to keep buying and returning ipod shuffles. My other ipod shuffles haven't lasted long either. The battery quality is very low. I might try a 3rd shot but I'm very frustrated.
Can anyone recommend another brand other than Apple?

When you are excercising with the Shuffle do you have it protected with a moisture resistant sleeve or case? If not, there is a good possibility that moisture is making its way into the Shuffle and deteriotating its internal components including the battery.
You could test this out, by replacing the Shuffle a third time, charging it over night, and then seeing how long it lasts on a full charge without using it for exercise.

No. The most you can do is turn it in your a 10% discount towards the purchase of a new one. You would be much better off selling the Nano on Craigslist or eBay and using the profits from that towards the purchase of an iPad.

NEED HELP: Can't put music on either of 2 iPods! see post for details...

My new 30GB iPod doesn't show in iTunes so I am unable to put any music on it. Also, the updater does not recognize it either, but my computer recognizes it as a removable drive so it knows it's there. This problem does not only persist in my new iPod, but I have an older iPod that was recently restored by the "Geniuses" and it too has the same problem, now I have TWO iPod's that i can't even put music on. Can somebody please help me? I'm getting very frustrated and extremely desperate. A solution would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Because you can only synce with one iTunes library and you are switching libries by using the new computer. To nake this yyour syncing computer:
- Move all the media(apps, music, synced video and photos etc) to the new computer.
- Connect the iPofd yo the computer and bake a backup fo the iPod by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup.
Note that the backup that iTunes makes doe not include media.

Why is it so hard to put music on my brand new iphone 4s?

I purposely bought the 64GB version of the new iPhone 4s so that I could also use it as an iPod. First off-I can't edit any of the music's information or cover art once it's in the phone. Half of the albums that I synched just speed through song after song without making a sound. The other half won't even go to the song when you touch the title.
My biggest beef? In quite a few albums, I can't put most of the files on it. It just won't do it. For example, I dragged a Mariah album to my iPhone. It synched up 4 songs out of 12. No matter what I do, it just refuses to take certain songs, and in most cases-entire albums.
I tried to put a Britney album on there, and it just point blank refused to play the right song. It would play Toxic for the title of Breathe On Me. It doesn't do this on iTunes. Just on the iPhone. I finally got it to sound right once I dragged each...song..over..and..over...and..over...
I spent the last DAY-that's right, DAY-trying to get all the correct artwork and titles and songs, and I've only finished up to the C's.
Please help me. I can't afford to waste this type of money for a subpar product. I've never had this type of problems with my iPod.

I've found that once the music files are transfered from iTunes music library to the device, you lose a greater ability to edit the properties or add artwork to the mp3s if you then try to then. It's hit or miss and I think it has to do with how the music with what software was used to encode the music files and what format they are in.
From these experiences, I've made it a habit of doing all the tag/properties edits and artwork adds in iTunes music library first, then move them over to the phone as the final copies.

Brand New Ipod Shuffle says its full when its empty!!

On Saturday I bought 2 shuffles as presents for s friends twins. The first unit works fine that we loaded, but the second unit picked up everything on the computer as a natural sync motion. I tried to delete these tunes from the unit, which says I have done it, but the capacity indicator says the shuffle is full, and the music is still on it. I have tried toi restore the Factory settings but nothing happens, infact is just suspends the whole computer!!
So firstly, why when I have deleted everything, it still says its full?
How do I actually get the music off?
Or should I just take it back to the shop and exchange it for a new one?

DID you do the following: Click on the Shuffle icon in Devices on the left side of the iTunes window, then select the tracks you want to delete in he Contents window and hit teh "delete" key on your keyboard?
