I can't restore the laptop to factory settings

Hi guys, i recently got a lot of viruses on my Toshiba laptop and i pretty much cant get onto the desktop because of it, so i decided to repair my laptop via disks, but when i get so far with it, it gives me this error message
"the file nvrd32.sys could not be found".
I have done a lot of Googling around and not yet found a solution so im posting this thread.
I have a Nvidia Quadro GFX card if that counts for anything.
I have 2 disks labeled "Drivers" and "XP SP2". I enter SP2 into the laptop and i still get the same message, can anyone help me out?

If you read my message you would know that i have tried to do that and im getting this error message, im asking for help in how i can prevent this message.
I have AVG 8.0 full version, Ad-Aware, and Search and Destroy, all 3 cannon destroy all the viruses as they are duplicating, please provide me useful information someone please.

The problem is covered in the above links. Unless you know the Apple ID and password used to set up the Find My Phone lock originally, then the phone is useless. If you have proof of ownership and that you are the original purchaser, then you can ask Apple to release it from the activation lock.

You do not necessarily need to restore the device to factory settings, but rather sign out of the four services that utilize your Apple ID: iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, and iTunes & App Stores. Once signed out, you can sign in with a new Apple ID. For more information, see the following article:

PES 2012 is no longer available in the US App Store and only on the British App Store currently.

That (an app no longer available) happens sometimes.
Your only way is if you have the appt on your computer such as in the recycle bin/trash or in a computer file backup. In that case move it to your iTunes library and sync.

I'm using iphone 4 but could not backup or update the phone. Am forced to restore the phone to factory settings. All it shows was a itunes and plug. What am i supposed to do?

I was prompted with the 'No Service' message. When i tried to switch it on again, it showed the iTunes icon and plug. Hi, I am upgrading my iMac (mid 2007- OS X) and would like to know how to restore the system to factory settings or at least purge all personal data before giving it away.

If you restore it using the Command and R keys to restart on the recovery drive, you end up with a system that is tied to your Apple ID and cannot be updated or changed by the buyer.
The alternative is to call Apple Support, 1-800-MY-APPLE and ask for a set of install disks for that machine...they will need the serial number to send the right disks. Threre is a charge around $16 for those disks.

Can't restore MacBook Pro to factory settings/boot from usb or dvd

So I recently got a MacBook Pro, currently running OS X 10.7.4 Lion. I am well-versed in the world of Windows, however am quite new when it comes to macs (whole reason why I got it).
I'm trying to restore it to its factory settings without owning a restore disc. The HDD only has one partition (no recovery partition).
I have located and downloaded a torrent for an OS X installer, specifically a .dmg image file containing OS X 10.7.
I tried burning that image to a DVD, but when I go to boot from the DVD (to my understanding, this is done by holding "C" during boot) it doesn't work, and just continues to proceed to the logon screen as it normally would.
I have tried converting the image from a .dmg to a .iso (something I am far more familiar with) using one of my Windows machines, and then burning that to a DVD, however, it yields the same result as above.
I have tried using the Disc Utility to format a flash drive (Mac OS Extended (Journaled)) and then using the same Disc Utility to "restore" the image file to the USB drive. When I go to boot from this (holding alt/option at boot) it shows the internal HDD as the only bootable drive.
Is it possible that since I am technically running a newer version of Mac OS X (10.7.4 and using an installer of 10.7) that it will not allow me to do so? I know Apple has made it difficult to downgrade iPhones and the like, and I suppose it wouldn't surprise me a great deal to find out that the same applies to their computers.. But if I am attempting to boot from a different source, and use that to format and repartition my HDD, then I don't see why that would matter...
Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion, Shootist007, but that's not accurate. There were no disks of any kind included with the MacBook Pro I bought. I am very anal about keeping everything that comes with a computer. I don't misplace or lose them. I've been buying computers since '88, and I am very careful to maintain original items. I searched the original MacBook Pro box several times, and there's nothing in there but the original purchase receipt from the Apple Store and the form fitting black plastic tray and cushion.
I did try wiring the system, and that's when it tried to restore Lion (and wouldn't let me do a restore of anything else).
Are you saying that if I do upgrade to Lion, and then do a system restore, then the buyer will not be able to use Lion?

My computers been runing slow and its time for a factory reset. I only use the computer really as a media center hooked up to my tv since I built my desktop a year or so ago. I already copyied everything I wanted to keep off the laptop. A year or so ago I had to replace the internal hard drive because there was a problem with it. i don't have a restore disk and the partictian didn't get copied to this hard drive. how can i restore to factory settings? the computer is a toshibia qosmio x 505 q885.

If you failed to burn recovery discs, you can obtain them from Toshiba at Get Recovery Media here.

Sorry. You can't get help here. Ask whoever wrote the jailbreak.
You can try putting it in DFU mode (google is your friend), but that's all we can suggest.
Jailbreaking voids your warranty and AppleCare agreement and forfeits all rights to support.

Throw away any files which may contain sensitive data and securely empty the Trash.
If it shipped with Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, insert its original disk and restart the computer with the C key held down.
If it shipped with Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, restart with the Command and R keys held down.
Use the Disk Utility to erase the partition with Mac OS X installed, and then install a fresh OS onto it. If you used a disk and are going to sell or give away the computer, include the disk with it.

You can and it depends on what you are referring to. For example, are you wanting to remove you old iPad from the Find My iPhone feature, you can do that at iCloud.com and the steps for that are in the first article. If you are wanting to delete an old back up, then check out the second article to walk you through those steps.
