I can't transfer films on to my iPhone from my work PC

Hi there,
I have an iPhone. I connect it to my laptop at home (where I keep my iTunes library, mostly music and a few audio books) and I connect it to my work PC, which is authorised. Now I've just downloaded some movies from tekpub especially for the iPhone, I've added them to my iTunes Library on my work PC but when I try to drag them onto my iPhone it won't let me. I've seen that I can check the Films>Sync option in the Devices>iPhone>Films interface however this will wipe everything that's on my iPhone (that I transferred from my home PC) how can I get my movies onto my iPhone without wiping my iPhone library or having to take the movies home on a USB stick, add them to iTunes and then drag them onto the phone at home.
I have a long train journey tonight, I'm not going home and I'd like to swot up whilst travelling.

By design, an iPhone will sync or manually manage iTunes content with ONE computer at a time. This design feature cannot be overridden. Thus, unless you want ALL iTunes content on your phone erased, you have no choice but to copy this content from your work computer to your home computer and then sync it to your phone.

I use Dropbox most often for this purpose. It's free, works easily and doesn't require attaching the phone to the computer. I also use ReaddleDocs, which offers more options, including using iTunes for the transfer, but it is more complex and currently costs $5.

No way to do that. Apple doesn't facilitate mucic filesharing. It takes the view that if you want a song, you should buy it.

Do you have your system backed up to Time Machine? If so, you can open your user Library and copy your Mail folder from Time Machine to your Desktop on your new machine; then copy THAT folder to your new machine's user Library.
To get to your user Library, open Finder and Go and press the Option key. Library will show up. Click on it to get into your user Library. Now go into Time Machine and you should see your user Library for Time Machine. Restore the Mail folder to your Desktop.

So you have two different computers?
Just enable Home Sharing and he can copy the songs from you iTunes to his then he can sync his iPhone to his iTunes.

I use the PhotoSync APP (I think its a $1.99) will transfer videos and photos over WIFI to any other IOS device or even PC/MAC. Great app since I like doing video and photos on my IPHONE and transfer to IPAD2 without synching through computer or doing cloud based storage.
You can even send photos/videos from your MAC/PC to your IOS devices that way too. Makes it so much easier.

Did you fail to maintain a backup copy?
If so, then you can buy a third party program to extract the music not purchased from itunes.
Itunes purchases can be transferred to your computer: File>Transfer Purchases.

Thank you so much! I actually need help transferring my old address book with all my contacts and their e-mail addresses. I had trouble setting up mail so I used my internet provider's webmail to send and receive mail, but that is fixed now.
If I have to manually enter each contact, I'll do that, but it sure would be nice if there was a way to transfer the address book.
