I can't use the touchpad and type at the same time

My laptop is a Lenovo ideapad s510p touch windows 8.1
I'm trying to play games on my laptop but it's impossible because I can't move with the keyboard while looking around using the touchpad. When I go to mouse properties, device settings, and settings I get a completely different screen from what other people get

And I don't have an option for palm check either instead I have palm tracking and when I lower that all the way nothing changes. Someone please help.

You can, yes. But there is a complication: once you activate windows it will only be activated for one of the two methods you use. So, let's say you install into boot camp and activate windows. You can then install Parallels and it will find your boot camp installation, but when running in Parallels, Windows will report that it is not activated. Or, you can activate it in Parallels and when running in Boot Camp Windows will report that it is not activated. The reason for this is because Windows thinks it is running on different computers depending on how you boot it. This may not be an issue for you if you run Windows a lot one way and just occasionally the other way, so be sure to activate Windows in whichever method you use more often. Hope this helps!

We need you help. We are working in SRM 7 and ECC 6 EhP 4. We have a doubt. Can we use badis BBP_SOURCING_BADI and BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS at the same time in a classic scenario?
We want to create the contract in ECC, and then we want to return the SC in SoCo in order to create the PO with the SC and the contract.
We activate both, but the SC is not returned in SoCo.

You can use both badi to change srm standard behavior.
but one shopping cart item and it can have only one follow on document either Contract or Purchase order.
i presumed that you want to use same sc for two purposes to create both SC and PO but it is not possible.
for example
shopping cart item has follow on document created as a contract But you need to create a another shopping cart to create a Purchase order w.r.t that contract .
Once follow on documents are created sourcing flag will be removed .- rule
BBP_SOURCING_BADI - you can write your custom logic and make way to cockpit .
BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS - Determine your logical system.

Yep. I have CC and CS installed and they both work. However, I don't see why I should use cs.

It's just the battery sign - nothing else. I've tried to reboot by holding down both power and home key for 10+ seconds, waiting for the apple logo - but nothing happens. It's plugged into the imac at the moment. I tried to recharge it overnight using the normal charger - but no luck. It went dead during a Skype call with a friend - even though it was powered into the mains - albeit at a low battery level at the time

I would like to know is it possible to use both INSERT and UPDATE at the same time in one interface because I have a requirement in which I have to perform both the task.
user send the file which contains both new and old record and I need to save those in MS SQL database.
If the record exist then use UPDATE otherwise use INSERT.
I looked on sdn but didn't find any blog which perform both the things at the same time.
Interface Requirement
FILE -
> PI -
> JDBC(INSERT & UPDATE)
I am thinking to use JDBC Lookup but not sure if it good to use for bulk record.
Can somebody please suggest me something or send me the link of any blog or anything to solve this problem.

          If I have understood properly the scenario properly,you are not performing insert and update together. As you posted
"If the record exist then use UPDATE otherwise use INSERT."
Thus you are performing either an insert or an update which depends on outcome of a search if the records already exist in database or not. Obviously to search the tables you need " select * from ... where ...." query. If your query returns some results you proceed with update since this means there are some old records already in database. If your query returns no rows you proceed with "insert into tablename....." since there are no old records present in database.
Now perhaps the best method to do the searching, taking a decision to insert or update, and finally insert or update operation is to be done by a stored procedure in MS SQL database. A stored procedure is a subroutine available to applications accessing a relational database system. Here the application is PI server.   If you need further help on how to write and call stored procedure in MS SQL you can look into these links

    Still you might face some problems while your scenario runs. Lets consider this scenario, after the stored procedure searches the database it found no rows. Thus you proceed with an insert operation. If your database table is being accessed by multiple applications (or users) other than yours then it is very well possible that after the search operation completed with a null result, an insert/update operation has been performed by some other application with the same primary key. Now when you are trying to insert another row with same primary key you get an error message like "duplicate entry not possible for same primary key value".     There must be other methods to avoid this problem. But the point is you need to be sure that all access to database for insert/update operations are isolated.

Can I use both iPhoto and Aperture on the same library?

I like some of the features of iPhoto (like faces and places) but prefer to work in Aperture for its rich tool content. Is there any way I can use both iPhoto and Aperture on the same library? Or, import images from Aperture into iPhoto?

I think you may have answered a question I have with the above, but to be sure here is what I would like to do. I currently have iPhoto09 with about 50,000 pictures in it, which seems too much for it to manage. I would like to use Aperture, which I understand is better for managing a large number of photos, but still have iPhoto available to make slide shows, etc. for our AppleTV. Would the process you described above work for that?

How can I use both Lion and Leopard on the same computer?

I have installed Lion and can't recover documents created by Canvas 9, a PPC app. Can I create a partition to run Leopard, so that I can use PPC apps?

My mid-2010 iMac 27" i3 came with Snow Leopard. My internal hard drive is partitoned into 3 parts - one boot volume for Snow Leopard (10.6.7); one boot volume for Lion; another boot volume for Lion. The two Lion partitions were added to the internal drive without erasing the initial install of Snow Leopard.
I also have an external firewire drive which is partitioned into three volumes: one with a clone of the primary's Snow Leopard 10.6.7; one with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 (built on another clone of the primary); and one used for GP file storage.
That gives me three bootable volumes for Snow Leopard (two of 10.6.7, and one of 10.6.8) and two bootable volumes for Lion. All of those are, in fact bootable - they have all been tested for that by booting to them.
Booting to a different valid OS on a different volume is as easy as going to System Preferences > Startup Disk and then selecting the OS/volume one would like to use on the next restart. Then just restart.
The choice can also be made at booting - as soon as the startup chimes sound, hold down the Option key to bring up Startup Manager. In that screen select the boot volume of choice.

SWF_WORKPLACE - can we use it? And what are the restrictions?

I'm in the middle of specifying a new ESS/MSS role out and one of the points that has come up is the need to use the UWL, and specifically substituting approvals/task during absences. There is a desire that we should be able to allow/disallow certain users for being used for substitution. (This is something that I do not believe exists as standard functionality)
With the portal based UWL being in Java we are reluctant to enhance it, however, I can see that a WDA app SWF_WORKPLACE exists which seems to do the same thing. And WDA is much easier to enhance (and support that enhancement after a support pack update).
It seems that this functionality is only released for NWBC [Note 1149144 - SWF_WORKPLACE:Composite SAP Note Business Workflow Workplace|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1149144]

As far as I can see, although it only allows tasks to be launched using object based navigation and reads table swfvgt with a key of NWBC cl_swf_powl_launch_services=>c_wlc_nwbc , it still uses the standard portal integration interface to launch the OBN. I can't see what functions wouldn't be supported in the portal.
Thomas Jung mentioned this app in this thread Transaction SBWP - although I think he confused what looks like a WDA view of the absence approval application for the substitution logic - which is built into the SWF_WORKPLACE application.
Other than that - no-one seems to have discussed/used this app anywhere - could you tell me why?

the BAdI, although allows us some control, doesn't really meet the requirement (although it might just have to do), for example I'd like to be able to allow different users for different profiles - so leave (profile1) has one logic and financial approvals (profile2) another - although this can be done, it seems to be after the user has made the choice rather than restricting the search results in the first place.
I had a search for new notes regarding SWF_WORKPLACE and couldn't find any, so I doubt it is even enhanced in 7.02. As it stands the lack of functionality that it presents - plus the SAP disclaimer about using it with anything other than NWBC makes me think were probably just going to have to go with the Java based app and the BAdI.

I have a HD connected to my 800 port works fine and a GL-2 camera on the 400 and final cut pro won't see the camera. Can I have 2 devices hooked up at the same time?

Yes. But you did not say whether the camera works alone or not at all. In the latter case it could be the camera isn't compatible.

Same physical printer but when connecting to SAME computer using both USB and wireless it becomes two (logical) printers. Probably your default prnter is the wireless one, you have to select the right printer before print .

we can use the call transation and session method in same program.
However for better performance it's benificial to use call trasaction method of BDC. but if u want to upload very large amount of data then Session method is more preferable to use.
Session method is one of the method of BDC.
U can also use BAPI to upload the data in SAP but it's a different concept than BDC. Performance wise BAPI is more advantageous than BDC.
