I cannot delete my previously synced folders of photos off my iPhone 4s-

HELP!!!!!
I have followed all the instructions you have sent on Google-
I went to itunes and made sure that I have no synced folders checked and have restarted and rebooted my computer and iPhone several times.
My problem started when--
I made an iPhone transfere folder with the images I wanted to put on my iPhone.
Then itunes synced that folder.
So when I went to my iPhone I found that folder-- along with a Photo Library ( one with the sun flower) folder with exactelly the same images 5,570 of them-
So now I not only have one folder I have two.
Also I'm a photographer and I print my images -
SO SIZE IS VERY IMPORTANT.
I just found out when you import the images through itunes it compresses them.
For example --one image taken with iPhone not imported itunes is 7,990,272 total Pixels--
Then same image imported through itunes is 3,145,728 total pixels
I always check pixel size of my images because-- using different creative apps sometimes reduces the size.
So I use the( "Images Size "app --Danny Goodmans) it is the best out there for this purpose.
Usually I import through Lightroom or Bridge and have no problem-
But I wanted to clean up my phone and add some other images and now it is a nightmare--
Please someone help!!
I went to the apple store and they said I have to bring in my tower for them to help me.
I'm Windows 7 I have a very fast and great computer--

I have done that many times and I cannot get the folder off my iPhone-
It has 5,500 images that are
1-in my photo library
2. in a folder called transrere imags
3.And also on my Camera Roll
The only one that I can uses are the ones in the camera roll because they are 7,990.200 total pixels
Where the others are only 3,145,782 total pixels-
I really want tem off my phone...

Restore from backup challenges
* Make sure you have plenty of harddrive space!
- have to restore first then restore from backup, i did this incorrectly by restoring from backup and the find my iphone feature got stuck forcing me to recovery restore
- each restore from backup attempt will copy the original backup and create another backup folder. My original was about 10gb, so it copied another 10gb onto my computer's harddrive
- when i restore from backup, my computer ran out of space and errored out/failed.
- I tried again to restore from backup then figured out where the backup data folder was and tried to transfer to external harddrive but not quick enough and failed again.
- finally cleared the extra backup data files and restore from backup was successfull
Missing apps from restore from backup
- Downloaded all my missing Apps from APP store
- I have 300+ apps and there are only 15 screen scrolls, have to organize before apps will populate and load, very difficult to organize now. Wished I had sync Apps first.
Conclusion
This process took me literally 20+ hours to correct and will probably take me few more hours to organize the apps into their respective folders...
At least I got everything to work. Hope this helps!

Will my previously sync'd Flickr photos (from iPhoto) get removed from Flickr

Hi,
I am very nervous of using the new Photos App and losing all my previously sync'd Flickr Photos that I configured from iPhoto - some of them have thousands of views / comments and fav's that I would hate to lose.
My photo library has been migrated to Photos App now, so I presume that as long as I don't fire up iPhoto again, I should be fine - as once the photos are sync'd to Flickr from iPhoto then as long as iPhoto doesn't try and remove them it should be fine and it can't do that if you don't start it up.
My concern is what happens when I try and share a photo to Flickr from the new Photos App - is this going to reset all my photos that have been previously shared to Flickr (and hence lose the previously uploaded ones from iPhoto) or will it just share additional photos as a new individual photos? It seems whereas iPhoto ran a complex Sync type relationship with Flickr, the Photos App Sharing to Flickr is much more basic.
Can anyone put my mind at rest because I would be mortified to end up losing my Flickr Photos?

When I sync my iPhone with iTunes appears a messeage saying that is missing a file and it's impossible to sync the iPhoto photos.

Was trying to fix my iphoto albums when I synced with itunes, I got a message saying that the iphone cannot sync because a required file cannot be found. I have tried restoring to original firmware, I have also tried the trouble shooting advice about ticking off the photos sync, unplugging the phone, then deleting the ipod photo cache and then reconnecting with itunes and checking the photos sync button again, all to no avail. I still can't restore my photos on my iphone4. No help still?

The only way to do that would be to add them to a shared stream. The disadvantage is that they will be a lower resolution than the original photos. Another option if you have a lit of music on your device would be to sync it all off, the sync it back after the update using iTunes.

I don't see an issue, but if you mean why didn't you get most of your memory back you need to see what else is using storage. Go to Settings/General/Usage. Wait a bit for it to calculate storage allocation, then when it finishes you can see how much storage each app uses.

I don't believe the iOS7 update was the cause for your issue. I have three devices all updated and they all show the Import To drop menu in Image Capture as shown below.

Sync put random photos on my iphone 5s as "Events (from My Mac), however now I cannot delete from phone?

These photos now exist in an Album called "Events" (From My Mac) in about 10 seperate folders. When I try to delete them from the phone, the trash can does not highlight, nor does the red minus circle pop up for the album. Also, I cannot delete photos individually.
Futhermore, when I connect my phone to iTunes, iPhoto, or Image Capture, those photos do not show as existing on my iPhone. They seem to be lost in the nether regions of the phone...please help me get rid of them!

Unfortunately, the photos do not exist in the Camera Roll. The Camera Roll now shows 0 photos total, since I have deleted every photo I've been able to. The mystery photos are located in a folder underneath Camera Roll labled as "Events", but I am unable to delete the folder, and when I go to look at the photos individually, I cannot delete them there either. In the Events folder, I did previously have photos from my Photostream, and I was able to delete those with no problem. It just seems that these photos do not want to be removed.

Cannot delete mails or rename folders in icloud mail

Hi evereyone,
I lately realized a strange behaviour of my iCloud mail account.
No matter where I try to rename or delete a folder (icloud.com, iPhone, iPod touch,2 iPads) I get an error message that it is not possible to do so.
If I try to delete a mail (yes, I chose the server's Trash folder in every device's advanced settings) it remains in the inbox,
but also shows up in th trash. So if I delete the same mail 5 times it's still there but there are also 5 copies in the trash.
My mail client of choice is "eM Client" because it can handle icloud mail, contacts and calendar.
Strange enough, I can delete mails in the client. So the IMAP inboxes of the client and my iDevices are not in sync.
But I also cannot delete or rename folders in the client.
No problems with my wife's own iCloud account.
I am using Windows 7 and Firefox. Same problem on Safari.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem?

But, as you don't have your computer you usually synced to:
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.

I cannot delete photos off my iphone 5s

I want to delete photos off of my iphone. I've read several articles but the trash icon in the bottom right screen of the phone is shaded out, even after I select photos. I have no idea why and cannot figure out how to delete photos. Any ideas?

What photos?
Photos synced to the iphone from your computer, are removed the same way.
Open itunes, connect iphone, select what you want to be on your iphone, sync.

I have orphaned voice memos on my iPhone5 and cannot delete. Listed in iTunes but not on my iPhone's Voice Memo app.

When I upgraded from my iPhone 4 to iPhone 5, a bunch of voice memos were orphaned.
What this means is that when I connect my iPhone to iTunes, I see the voice memos.
They are listed in iTunes under my iPhone directories "Voice Memo" and in "Music".
But I cannot delete these.
When I go to my iPhone, the Voice memo app has changed (ok) and you can see there
are no voice memos. It appears that they are orphaned from the voice memo app.
So the voice memos are in my phone somewhere.
How can I delete them or export them or something with them?
I can't play them except on iTunes. They don't show up in Music in my iPhone.

Reset the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. The phone should reboot and release the problem you are experiencing.
