I cannot find a bookmark folder, it is buried somewhere.

Somehow I accidentally moved a folder to somewhere else within my extensive collection of bookmarks, likely as a subfolder of some unrelated folder. When I go to show all bookmarks, and type in the folder name, it brings up all the bookmarks within that folder. If I click on "edit this bookmark" on one of the bookmarks, it will show that folder . . . BUT . . . it will not show me WHERE that folder is located. I have been manually going through many many folders searching for this folder but cannot find it so far. Is there an easy way to locate a particular bookmarks folder?

You can install either of the following extensions
*https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/show-parent-folder/
*https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/go-parent-folder/

  • Cannot find "Plug-ins" folder for Photoshop CS6 on my Mac.

I cannot find ”Plug-ins" folder for Photoshop CS6 on my Mac. Path suppose to be Macintosh HD > Applications
> Adobe Photoshop CS6 > Plug-Ins but that folder is missing. Any suggestion on how to find it?

    Thank you Hans,
If I understand it correctly, way to install extensions/plugins on Mac is
    following
"Quit Photoshop, then copy the desired plug-ins (or extensions) to the
    following locations:
    Mac OS:
       - Applications/Adobe Photoshop CC/Plug-ins folder
       - Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6/Plug-ins folder"
In my case it would be the last path, as I have CS6.
However, my problem is that Plug-ins folder is missing

    Goran

  • I cannot find the bookmark icon (star) on the location bar. Please help!

I just started using Firefox today, as I have had enough with IE freezing up whenever I try to close a link that opens from one browser window. Now after going through the Getting Started tutorial, I see that I cannot find the bookmarks icon (the star) on the location bar. I'd appreciate your help with this!
    Thanks!

  • TS2776 i recently transferred my itunes file to a new pc.  i am unable to play some songs i had imported to itunes and it says it cannot find the original folder.  how can i play these files?

i recently had to rstore my pc.  i had copied my itunes file to a flash drive and have since reinstalled it.  Now, i am unablt to play certain imported files and have and exclamation mark.  it says itunes cannot find the original folder.  how can i play these songs if there is no other folder to find them in?

If you right mouse and select Get info it will show you the Apple ID used to purchase these songs.
Usually the name of an apple id is based on the email. So knowing that you may have forgotten the Apple ID password.

Cannot find my "Pictures folder" in Finder and was using the "all Images" selection to fiddle with my pictures.  Now I think I may have screwed iPhoto up

    Hi jamesxio,
Do you still have the Pictures folder in your home folder? If not, create a new folder in your home folder and name it Pictures. Make sure the iPhoto Library folder is in the Pictures folder.
Now launch iPhoto with the Option key depressed until you get a message screen. Choose to open another library and navigate to and highlight the iPhoto Library folder. Click the Open button.
You didn't move anything around or rename anything in the iPhoto Library folder in the finder, did you?

  • I had to do a master restore on my computer but I cannot find any bookmarks. Are they lost forever?

I had to do a master restore on my computer (because of a problem with Firefox 4). After the restore I downloaded Firefox and the Firefox Sync App again. I thought I would find my bookmarks. However, I cannot find any of the bookmarks I had, nor were the tabs restored. I also downloaded the app Foxfire app to my iPhone (same day). Yet after I signed in, I was able to see the tabs I had before the master restore, but again - none of the bookmarks. I don't know how (if) I can recover them... Please Help?!

If the photos were not backed up with a recent backup, there is NO way to retrieve them.

  • Cannot find html5 output folder

    Greetings.
I am trying to insert an Edge Animate animation into my Captivate 7 project. In tutorials, it talks about a "html5 output folder".
Even if I am publishing in html5 (as well as swf), it does not create such html4 output folder. When I try to access the published files, the App Packager does not recognize them.
I am working on a Mac.
Hope someone can help me... I have searched forums and YouTube for a few hours but cannot find a solution.
    Thank you!!
    Best regards,
    susan

I am having exactly the same issue. Also tried to uninstall and reinstall and it did not work.

  • Cannot find Modem Scripts folder under Liberary

I am to install a modem script for my Blackberry Bold 9000 phone. However, I cannot find the Modem Scripts folder under \Library folder, where it was supposed to be located. Yet I can still use my Sony Ericsson phone as a 3.5G Bluetooth modem accessing the Internet, which means there is the modem script working in my MacBook. Please advise how I can pinpoint the \Modem Scripts folder? Or should I just create one myself? Thanks very much

Are you sure you are looking in the root level Library folder & not in the Library folder in your home folder or in the /System/Library folder?
To be sure, in Finder, hold down the command & shift keys & tap the "g" key. In the dialog sheet that drops down, type in "/Library/" (without the quotes & press the return key or click the "Go" button. Do you now see /Library/Modem Scripts in the window?

  • I had to restore my computer to the original restore point. Windows XP backed up my files but now I cannot find my bookmarks file after I downloaded Firefox.

I had a corrupt config.sys file and had to restore my laptop to original Windows XP restore. It backed up my documents and files, but I lost all my .exe's. I downloaded a new version of Firefox and now can't find my bookmarks. I haven't saved a backup for awhile, but all of my other files are there. Where can I find my bookmarks?

Firefox stores the bookmarks and the history in the places.sqlite file.

  • Where do I find the bookmarks folder in C:\, so I can edit it?

In IE, windows has a folder for favourites. Does Windows have a bookmarks folder for Firefox?

Firefox stores bookmarks in a database file, places.sqlite, inside the profile folder. This will not be easy to edit, it will be better to use the bookmarks library to edit the bookmarks. In the Bookmarks menu select "Organize Bookmarks" to open the bookmarks library.
