i have to do my math homework on mymathlab and i cannot get it to load on firefox it is saying website is unavailable but i know it is not the website cause it works on other computers. please help

unfortunately i'm not familiar with bitdefender - there's a general instruction on how to deal with slow internet speed at http://www.bitdefender.com/support/my-internet-is-slow-1100.html - though i'm not sure if this also applies to your situation. otherwise you can also contact the bitdefender support for assistance on how to properly configure their program so that firefox won't get blocked. there's also a chat option on their support page...

Try b noir's post Standalone Apple Application Support install to see if that can repair the problem or provide futher information, otherwise try reinstalling again as shown in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

If you were able to load websites until you updated Firefox, your Internet security software (including firewalls, antivirus programs, anti-spyware programs, and more) is likely preventing Firefox from connecting to the Internet, see [http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/configure-firewalls-so-firefox-can-access-internet firewalls]

Hotmail has been having a few hiccups lately I'm afraid.
If you don't see any emails when you log in, or nothing appears after some time, click in the middle of the grey bar on the left which has the word "'''Inbox'''" in it. This usually causes them to magically appear for some strange reason.
I've read on on a few blogs that Microsoft is working on the problem, but don't hold your breath. 
If this suggestion resolves the problem for you, please click the '''Solved it''' button next to this post after you log in into the forum. This will help others searching for a solution to the same problem.

I have OSX 10.4.11 and want to download Firefox. why can i not get this application loaded? Is there an older version to be compatible/

Firefox 4 beta requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

Cannot get firefox to load onto my computer

for 2 days I have been trying to download Mozilla Firefox 30 to my laptop, Vista XP os and it will not take. I have tried everything from making sure all drivers are up to date to different versions of the program and nothing works. When I do attempt to download, sometimes I get a messge of "thank you for downloading Mozilla Firefox" but there is no sign of it on my laptop, why?
What do I have to do to get it to load?

*Start the installation with a double-click on the desktop icon
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) to see if that helps in case your security software is causing this issue.

I cannot get Facebook to load. All other sites work fine. It will load if I disable all add-ons, but I have been unsucesssful determining which add-on is causing the problem.

I can get FB to load without problems in other browsers.

Wow so dramatic, sorry that just seemed an odd way to start a message. I would first recommend trying to perform a system restore. This hardly ever fixes any thing, but it is the easiest thing to try. Go the start menu >> All Programs >> Accessories >> System Tools >> System Restore. A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I was having major problems too. I ended up completely uninstalling itunes then downloaded it again from http://www.apple.com/itunes/. If you're using firefox, for some reason itunes will not download and I don't know if using googlechrome will also have problems,so just to be sure that it will work on your first try, use internet explorer when you download itunes. Hope this helps...

If that's not a real email, you need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

I need to make an independent web page for my DAR chapter and upload it through them. I cannot get iWeb to load. It will open and then freezes. I've tried it n both the iMac and the iBook with the same results. What am I doing wrong?

Try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
3 - launch iWeb and try again.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If that doesn't help continue with:
move the domain file from your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder to the Desktop.
launch iWeb, create a new test site, save the new domain file and close iWeb.
go to the your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder and delete the new domain file.
move your original domain file from the Desktop to the iWeb folder.
launch iWeb and try again.
