As I've already mentioned, I can't connect to iTunes or the App Store, the same message appears every time: "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store". I downloaded a few apps before I connected my iPad Mini to my Computer. I started doing an update that was about 9 or 10 hours long, somewhere around that time, and I unplugged it about halfway through the update and since then I've not been able to get onto iTunes or the App Store. I checked to see if I could continue the update but when I looked on iTunes again, no updates appeared. On my iPod Touch 4th Generation, everything works absolutely fine and it is logged into the same Apple ID. I've tried resetting my Network Settings, logging into someone else's Apple ID, connecting to a different Wifi, changing the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8, rebooting my Computer and iPad and changing the HTTP Proxy to Auto. Is there anything else I could try or am I just overlooking something? I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out here, thanks!
Can you connect to a wifi source on the device? Enable wifi in settings on the device itself. If you don't have wifi at home, there may be a local hotspot you can use for this.
The reason this happens is carriers don't want people downloading huge files that would slow their network as well as eat up your data plan. -
Nano 4th generation when plugged in shows the apple logo, then says connect to power and restarts

my ipod was disabled due to forgetting my password and when i tried undisableing it by holding the power button down for 3 seconds and then combining it with the home button for 10 seconds and then just holding the home button for another 10 seconds, it now will not turn on.... help????

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I keep getting the same unknown error has occurred when trying to download an app what is wrong?

Why can't I set up iMessage or Facetime on my new (second) Ipod Touch 4th Generation?
It says I have a bad connection or something but on my 1st Ipod Touch I CAN set up imessage and facetime. On my second one I can't. Why is that?

I bought an album and it diddent download. And my dollar ammount was the same. So i downloaded it again, and then it took my money for two purchases and then still diddent give me the album. This was all done on my ipod touch 4th generation. I dont have an apple care program so they cant help me and i dont want to spend 20 dollars on that because
1. thats alot of money for one time help
2. Thats how much money i spent on the two albums
This was ALL done on my iPod touch. And it is not jail broken

Hello. I have an ipod touch 4th generation. I have been trying to work facetime and imessage for 3 days, i sign in with my user ID and it says signing in and verifying but then it goes back to the sign in page. Can anyone help?
I disabled all my computer's firewalls and sure enough, IT WORKED!! My iPod is updated and just now finishing restoring! Thank you SOOOO SOOO much. : D

I dissabled my ipod touch 4th generation. It says connect to itunes, and i did what it say to do but the "connect to itunes" screen never shows up...it just goes back to the "ipod is dissabled connect to itunes screen. What do i do?????
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. I am updating the software on my daughters IPOD touch 4th generation and it is going on 4 hours now. I know this is not normal. What can I do? It synced just fine, but has been stuck on "updating ipod software" for 3 hours now!
She has had it for about 6 months and this is the first time we have plugged it into the computer since then. I can not exit out of itunes either.If you still have the problem after retoring the iPOd to factory defaults/new iPod then The iPod is likely defective and replacement is required. My ipod touch 4th generation isnt charging with my cable.
When i use my dad´s cable, it charges.
But, however, after it´s fully charged (which takes strangely only a minute), i use it for five seconds and then it goes off.
What should i do?- See:

Hi my name is Timothy and I have had my iPod Touch 4th Generation 32 GB for about 8 months and when I got it, it was fast but now i updated it to 6.1.6 and it goes really slow i have only used 6.8 GB of space on it and there is 21.7 GB left on it.
Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.

what is wrong with my headphone jack? i have an ipod touch 4th generation ipod touch every pair of headphones and earbuds i plug in it has the same sound going to both sides.
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so.
