I cannot get transitions to apply to only the picture in picture. The transitions apply to the full screen.
When I add a picture-in-picture as a new storyline and apply a transition the effect occurs on the main story line also. For example, a page curl transition causes the whole screen to curl rather than just the picture-in-picture. I'm using FCPX version 10.1.4.
I want to be able to animate in different pictures in different parts of the screen it looks horrible with the effects applying to all the different pictures.
All due respect to Mr. Wolsky. I have gotten this to work with many of the transitions.
Create a compound clip, open in the timeline and apply the transition(s).
Go back in the main timeline, make a storyline out of your compound clip. Making it a storyline is what did the trick for me. A compound clip alone would still have a full screen transition
I've had multiple PIPs doing cube transitions. It should work for you

As soon as the devices connected to your network the printer should appear as AirPrint.
You may ensure it is connected by clicking the wireless icon on the printer screen to locate its IP, then type the IP into Safari and check if you can access the printer homepage from your iPad.
If the printer conncted but still not being detected as AirPrint, ensure you have the latest firmware for your printer:

If the printer still not being dedected I would rather suspect the network as AirPrint uses Apple Bonjour and therefore require your network to support multicasting to operate..
You may test it by temporary setting direct connection using Wireless Direct, if the printer being detected without using the router please clarify your router brand and model to better understand your router capabiities.

I cannot get any content to print, only the page headers print
Ever since I updated Firefox to 3.6, only the page headers print when I try to print something. This does not happen with IE. Everything else works fine with Firefox, and if I copy the contents and paste it into something like Wordpad etc., I can print it.
I am using a Samsung CLP-310 with current drivers. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Firefox and the printer drivers.Try installing the printer via System preferences using this driver:

When I click on a bookmarked site, some of them show up on the large screen to the right, but mostonly show up in the much smaller window to the left and are therefor useless. this is even when I've opened a new tab. I never had this problem before, but recently received a new computer and this is the result after downloading firefox in this computer.

When you select a ringtone what happens? (Try to change from a ringtone to another).
Did you tried a reset? Hold down Power and Home buttons together until Apple logo appears. Then release and wait to reboot.

when updating my ipad air to iOs 8 my 2 albums on iphoto were deleted since iphoto is no longer supported. Anyone similar experiences? Any chance to get back my albums (not only the pictures, but the actual album with text etc)?

I downloaded an app 5 years ago on my iPhone with another Apple ID that I cannot get into now because I forgot the ID. I'd like to download the same app on my iPad now. The developer says it should be no problem. Any ideas how to solve this?

Do you have a copy of it anywhere e.g. on your computer's iTunes, or on a backup of your library ? If you have it on a backup then you should be prompted to authorise the account (and I think that the id will show) if you try to add it to your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library. -

Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs. -

If you can't sign in, then you can't troubleshoot and/or pair the keyboard until after that........ so, for that, you will need to borrow someone's USB wired keyboard in order to get signed in and to the Keyboard Bluetooth Preferences.

We own 5 Apple devices but for some reason I cannot get iTunes to recognize one of the iPads. The other 4 show up just fine and we can sync and do all the stuff we are supposed to do, but this one device is never recognized. I've tried updating the software, reinstalling iTunes, using different ports on the laptop, different cables...just about everything. I have NEVER been able to connect this one device, but all the others are fine. I'm at my wits end. Is there someone out there who can help a relative novice figure out what's going on? many folks have been having activation issues in the last few hours... your issue maybe related.

I cannot get my "send link" option under the File menu to work. Nothing happens. I went under Tools, Options, Applications and set it to my Gmail but no luck. No error messages, but the Gmail window never launches.

I recently changed my internet service provider and my e mail address. I updated my iTunes account with the new e mail. Now I cannot get updates on my devices, because the login box on each device still contains my old e mail, and I do not know how to change this How can I change this please?
Try tapping on the id in Settings > iTunes & App Stores on your devices (Settings > Store if they aren't on iOS 6+) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on them.

I have an app that I started to download. It is stuck in "downloading" and I cannot get it off my iPad. The "x" won't appear when I hold down on the app icon.
Boot off your iPad and turn it back on. Hold the button on the top until the "slide to power off" shows up. When you boot back up it will be gone and then you can re-install the app.

Just purchased Quicktime Pro 7, for iMac G5 with system OS X 10.4.11, AND cannot get at Quick Pro 7 despite the keys.
If the Pro registration worked the word Pro has been removed from many menu options.
The application remains just QuickTime Player 7 but the Pro features have been enabled.
