I cannot open a new tab any way..by clicking the new tab button on tab-bar, or ctrl/T, or File/New Tab, or clicking on link on current page.

On Windows7 Premium Home Edition, I cannot get a new tab to open no matter what I try. On occasion, if I click on a link on the current page, a second tab will open, but 99% of the time I am stuck using the first tab for everything and using the back button. I have tried ctrl/T, File/New Tab, right mouse click/New Tab, and the new tab button on the tab bar to the right of the current tab.

Hello, When I have a site open and wish to close it, the window closes but if I want to immediately open a new site, I get an error box saying that Firefox is already open. I usually takes several minutes for the close process to work properly before I can open a new site url.
I also have been having system crashes when I am looking at video--can be news reports, video on my harddrive, or any other streaming video I may be watching. Is this due to Firefox or can you say?

Is there any way to restore the original function buttons on the main bar?

I'm used to having my 'Stop Loading', 'Home', 'Reload' buttons to the left of the address bar... Is there any way in FF 4 to add those buttons back to the bar?
I get the concept of chasing the 'awesome bar' concept, but some of us prefer to have more direct and immediate control of these functions, rather than having someone else spoon-feed over simplified controls to us.

That took care of it! But a caution to anyone wanting to do the same things: Make sure you know the exact name of your Persona if you use one, cause if you use the Strata XP plugin to restore the colors to your function buttons, because when you use the plugin, it will eliminate your current Persona... At least as far as I can tell- I can't find the original setup of my old Persona, so am now having to search for it all over again... :'(

Any way to map the remotes volume buttons to iTunes' volume slider?

The reason I ask is I feed a USB audio device (DAC) and the volume buttons on the remote controls the volume to the iMac's internal speakers. I've got all audio outputs set to the USB device. I'd like the volume buttons to control the volume level to this USB device. Is this possible?

I think that as an external audio source, the Mac's volume controls (and hence the remote) are disabled. I'm using a digital cable from the Macs 'headphone' port to an external amp and I also cannot use the remote to change the volume. However, using a normal cable works...
Check by looking at the Output tab of the Sound section of System Preferences and see if the volume options are disabled.
If they are, then sorry, but I don't know of a fix.

Any way to get the 'filter comments' button to appear in quick tools

I'm using the 'Highlight Text' tool to add comments to a document.
I want to be able to quickly print the document with comments hidden.
There doesn't seem to be functionality to display comments on-screen
but hide them during printing. Since this is the case, it would be nice
if I could have 'filter comments' appear as a button in my quick tools
toolbar or custom tools pane. Currently, every time I hide/show comments,
it is 3 unnecessary keystrokes. Also, I don't see any functionality
for hiding comments on a page or group of pages. This would also
come in handy.

After years of using tabbed browsing in Firefox, I've long-since gotten used to right-clicking the tab bar, and selecting the top menu item 'Open New Tab'. So much so that it has become reflexive. Now with v4, when I perform the same action, it now just reloads the current page. Is there ANY way to restore the option to the pull-down menu? I don't wanna have to move my pointer all the way to the other side of the screen just to open a new tab... (T_T)

Hello, I suffered from a similar problem with the new search bar type. I've found that you can go into '''about:config''', then search for '''browser.search.showOneOffButtons''' boolean and toggle that. This should restore the old functionality. (You might need to restart your browser)

My Pages has locked up. I can see my documents but nothing will open. I cannot open a new document either. Any ideas?

Where and how did you buy it? As a DVD from a store, a download from Apple or from the Mac App Store?
If you got it from the Mac App Store, just delete it and (re)install it from the Purchases section.
If you received a DVD when you bought it you just need to delete it, reinstall it and update it.

Cannot open a new tab have to get a link and open in new tab.

I cannot open a new tab either by clicking on the button on the tool bar, going to File/Open New Tab or CTRL T. I think this happened after I upgraded to the newest version of Firefox. The only way I can get a new tab is to click on a bookmark or link and right click and select Open in New Tab. Very frustrating.

Unable to open SharePoint 2010 task from any Microsoft Office application - cannot open a new form (schema validation errors)

I can’t get the Microsoft Office SharePoint Task integration to work with any SharePoint 2010 Workflows. When any end user clicks the “Open this task…”
button from outlook (or any other office application) a warning dialog appears stating that:
“Outlook cannot open a new.
The form contains schema validation errors.”
The error details are:

Some points to note:
I can replicate this using on several computers running as different users.
I have full control over the site and the task I am trying to open.
When I navigate via the SharePoint site I can open the task.
The Info Path form that cannot be opened was automatically created by automatically SharePoint designer / InfoPath. I have subsequently deleted the form and published
the workflow (which created the InfoPath form again).
I am running Mircosoft Office Professional Plus 2010 version 14.0.5128.5000 (32-bit)
One workaround is to remove the “Open this task…” button as per

Yes, I tried that. It did not work for me.
I have 4 site collections. The main site collection is the only one that I receive the error.
When the user clicks on the email link and opens the document for approval, they receive the following error when they click on "Open This Task".

parent element '{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2009/WSSList/dataFields}Body'.
There is nothing wrong with the task list itself, just the link from the Office 2010 client.
I am wondering if there is a web config or other file on the server that is specific to the site collection??

First of all it is not at all possible that you have added something to user exit for sales order and that is affecting billing.
While billing try
USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP
instead of USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK.
Also, you need to sit with the SD functional person to check and decide upon what config is to be adopted in copy controls for pricing type. In case you wish to do everything through the user exit then std controls need to be set in a way that whatever is in sales order should come up in billing, inclusive of manual conditions unchanged.
In case of short dump issues, the code is not written at the right place. Before your code write
break-point
which will give you an idea of what is happening at runtime while creating billing document in debugging mode.
