Meaning what exactly? Does the mail app crash? The emails contain no content?
Here are two very simple things to try that just might help.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

I am taking a CS6 Photoshop class, I downloaded the data files from cengagebrain.com, my task in the book is to click File on the Menu bar, then click Open, then navigate to the drive and folder where you store you Data Files. When I click the corresponding file (PS 1-1.psd), I get the following error message: Cannot complete your request because it's not the right type of document.
Can anyone help please?

Are you sure the file has the correct suffix?
It might have been damaged in downloading, unstuffing, copying …, so if you are certain that the site is legit you may want to try re-downloading the file.

This answer was not helpful. First of all, I could not find "tech specs"
anywhere on the Acrobat 11 homepage. And secondly I purchased this software
for the specific purpose of converting .pdf files to Word. It was only
after I had completed the purchase that I learnt that Acrobat does not
permit the conversion of .pdf files in Cyrillic to Word files in Cyrillic.
I feel that Acrobat should have provided this crucial information before I
allowed my credit card to be debited. That is why I am now asking for my
money back. But thanks for your attempt to solve my problem, even if it was
not successful.

Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast
Settings>General>Accessibility>Bold Text
are some settings that may help.
There are other settings there ...they may not be to your liking but try them all anyways.
But that's about all you can do for now...except to voice your opinion to Apple here:

You are talking to users like yourself, not Apple. Try here to talk to Apple. In the meantime, if you select About This Mac in the Apple menu and then select More Info, you'll find the serial number there too. And if that is too small you can copy it just as if you were using a word processor and then paste it into a text editor and make the font bigger.

Font size in writing mail is too small for first two lines and then switches to 12. How do I change this to start and stay in 12.

When I want to reply to a message or just compose one, the font size is Times Roman 10 which is too small. After two lines it becomes 12. How can I change the font to start and remain Times Roman 12?

That's how it works on my iMac with OS X 10.8.1 but it refuses to change when selected on our new MacBook Air with the same OS and Apple Mail version. Is there something about the track pad that it doesn't recognize the click?

Yosemite Apple Mail prints too small

After Yosemite upgrade the body of text in Apple Mail messages prints extremely small. 2 Printers tested - HP Laserjet 5100tn and a Konica Minolta 5500 with a Fiery controller. Printing to a PDF file first is OK.
This only seems to occur when I print messages that I've sent or when I print a message where someone has replied to a message that I sent previously. Only the body of the messages that I sent prints too small. The From, Subject, Date, To, My signature, and anything from messages that have been sent to me from someone else are all OK. In messages that were replies to me from messages that I sent to others, everything is OK except the body of the message that I originally sent to that individual.

I have had this issue as well and have not really been able to resolve it. Yosemite Mail app doesn't seem to have the option that previous OS did where you could choose "Scale Message to Fit," "Rewrap Message to Fit," etc.
Am I missing something here or did they disable this option? I know I can change font or increase font size in preferences, but I don't really need to increase font size for display, only for printing, which seems to be very tiny no matter what I try to do.

I want to know why the Adobe Audition CS 5.5 loads on my new Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro with Windows 8, but the application window fonts are too small to read.

The device is probably equipped with a High DPI display. The most recent releases of Audition CC (7.1 and above) support High DPI displays, but older editions do not. You can reduce your resolution or adjust how fonts and text are scaled at your current resolution in the Windows Display Settings control panel to help improve this, but the need for multi-resolution assets and text support did not exist when Audition CS5.5 was released.

Getting your wireless router to work with the mini computers and their small monitors

I have one on the new Dell Mini computers. I purchased the Wireless-G Broadband Router model #WRT54G2 and had the most difficult time getting Network Magic installed on the Mini because the monitor was too small for the required resolution (1024x768) - this was trying to install via the CD that came with the router.
The solution to this problem:
1) Use the CD to install the Router and Network Magic on your desktop (or wherever you are hardwired to the internet).
2) Open Network Magic; go to "Status" and download the newest version of Network Magic to your desktop.
3) DO NOT use the CD to install Network Magic on the Mini. Instead - Unplug your hardwire connection from your desktop and connect it to your Mini. Go to "linksysbycisco.com/us/en/support/WRT54G2/download" and install the newest version of Network Magic on your Mini.
4) Replug your hardwire connection into your desktop.
5) You can now use Network Magic from your desktop to add the mini to the network. Go to "Tasks" and then "Add a device." You will be able to follow the directions at this point.
The only other issue I found was naming the network. I had to name the desktop and the mini the same name otherwise it wouldn't connect.
Good Luck and hopefully it won't take you the three days it took me to figure this out.

the settings program will not allow me to enter any of those cells. the accounts section is all in grey scale (not black) and none will open including "add account"

Cannot read some HTML mail sent

I have an issue where certain messages are showing up as blank in mail, no matter what I do. The only way to read them is for me to log onto my web based e-mail service, and read them there, using Safari, where they show up fine. Is there any way to fix this? I need to be able to save those messages locally, and it't a pain to have to log on and convert each one to a pdf vice just moving the mail into a local folder in mail.
I have mail set to display html messages, and 95% seem to display just fine, but a few (strangely they tend to be the important ones like hotel reservation confirmations) just appear as blank white screens.
I confess to being ignorant of the underlying mechanics of the messages, so if any more info would help, ask and I will supply what I can.

There are about 7 messages in that account inbox (changes a bit, but that is the average of what I keep in there, the max is about 40 on any given day before I go through it).
I actually have had a lot of problems with mail hanging up and having eternal "updating mail cache" issues, so I have rebuilt all my accounts several times, most recently earlier this week, with no resolution to this issue. I have also gone into the library/mail directory and deleted the inbox files for all my accounts and rebuilt the next time I used mail.

Suddenly, I can access my mailbox on AOL Mail but I cannot read anything when I try to open the individual mail. Get blank "page," even though something clearly is there (when accessed vis Explorer or Safari). What's wrong and how do I fix it?

This is on my desktop PC running Windows XP. Have used Firefox successfully for a couple of years. This problem was first noticed on 1/18/2012.
Logging off and logging back into AOL does not fix it. Closing and re-opening Firefox does not fix it. Shutting down and rebooting the PC does not fix it.

Cannot read my E-mails in Outlook Express anymore as they now appear as Firefox webpage attachments, how do I rectify this?

I use outlook express to download my E mails from gmail and used to be able to read the content of the email in Outlook Express. The content of my emails has now disappeared and been replaced by two attachments, one Firefox HTML which has the content of the email and a text file which also has the a content. How can I return to the original format of Outlook express?

Does this only affect new mail you download, or does it affect older messages as well?
If it only affects new messages, is it possible that you've made a change that indirectly affects emails, such as new security software (spam filters or virus filters that intercept and check mail as it's received)?
If it affects older messages as well, there might be a problem with Outlook Express (how it is decoding HTML messages). In that case, if you haven't tried restarting Windows, you might try that first.
