It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one - way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases.

If it is to select what to sync, it's easier to create playlists and sync only those playlists.
Then simply add/delete fomr a playlist to remove it from syncing.

Actually, you can email up to 5 at a time from the Photos app. Select any more and the email share option will not appear.
If you explain why you need to email large numbers of photos, we might be able to offer an alternative.

no, when using facetime you log in with the apple id you want people to reach you at, so unless you both agree to share one apple id for all the facetime you do, it will be necessary for you to logout and login each time you use the application.

The paths won't agree on the two OSs so a simple XML import isn't likely to work.
See Sync iPod/iPad/iPhone with two computers and, if needed, Make a split library portable. The techniques in the first link will work when moving the library between Windows and OS X as long as the library is "portable", but iTunes takes quite some time checking the database when the library is opened under a different OS.

I am going to have to buy a new computer, am I going to lose my entire iTunes music library? Not just my purchased music, but all that I've added myself? We're talking over 10,000 songs!

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
If you have an iOS device that syncs with contact & calendar data on your computer you should migrate this information too. If that isn't possible create a dummy entry of each type in your new profile and iTunes should offer to merge the existing data from the device into the computer, otherwise the danger is that it will wipe the information from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library, or a backup of it, then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS devicefor advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Is there a way to export all of the playlists to an XML file?

I have a ton of playlists in iTunes. I love making them. However, I have two computers. A PC and a Macbook. I've currently had to export every single playlist to an XML file and then import them on the other machine to keep them in sync. Is there a way to just save all of the freakin playlists to an XML, or any other way for that matter so I don't have to go through this tedious process?
I would use iTunes Match to keep it all in sync, but unfortunately the service has been a disappointment for me. Certain songs won't upload to the cloud, playlists won't sync at all, and songs frequently skip or won't play at all when streaming to my iPhone on the go. It's a shame because it could be a great service if it worked well.

Is there a way to LIST OUT all of the active images that are currently being used on a page in Dreamweaver? Or do I have to click each one and write down the image name by hand?

Here are 2 ways to "start over":
1. remove all photos (or all extraneous photos anyway) from existing catalog (e.g. all photos collection, ctrl/cmd-a, then delete key).
2. create a new catalog (see file menu).
It sounds like #2 would be best for you, so you don't have extraneous keywords in your catalog etc.

Music purchased from iTunes can be transferred from your phone using iTunes, however other music cannot. To do this requires 3rd party software such as PhoneView (mac) or Touch Copy (pc or mac).

There is no way to do this that I've ever seen posted here. Even if there were, I would think that the space gained would be no more than a few Mb at most.

Whenever I update FF to a newer version I lose all of my saved passwords. I would like to use the latest version but hesitate because of password issue. copy and paste doesn't work. IPod Will Not Sync iTunes Purchased Music

My 20gb 4th gen iPod is no longer syncing purchased music fron iTunes… I am working with the later version of iTunes and the latest version of the iPod software… I moved my entire iTunes library to a new computer and authorized the new computer (auth #2)… I connected the iPod and synced the library, but none of the newly purchased music went down to the iPod… The existing purchased iTunes music already on the iPod stayed there… The track information is on the iPod in the appropriate playlist as if it was there, but the song is not there… If I try playing the tracks, the iPod just goes through each track in less than a second…
So I updated the iPod with the latest software and did a full update to erase the contents completely… I plugged in and began a new sync… Again, all of my mp3 in my library came across, but none of the purchased iTunes music… The track information came over, but no song… So I now have no purchased music on my iPod…
This is a new Dell XPS laptop w/ Windows XP MC edition…
Anyone with thoughts on this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated…

If you have made sure that both the iTunes and iPod software are current and have deauthorized and reauthorized your computer, try this test:
1. Deauthorize the computer.
2. Create a new user in the system.
3. Download the free song of the week from the iTMS in the new user account.
4. Play the song in that user account to authorize again.
5. Restore the iPod (using the iPod updater) in the new user account.
6. Sync just the free song of the week and see if it plays on the iPod.
If it does, you appear to have a corrupted iTunes library file, and you should recreate the iTunes library file in your normal user account, and then sync your music back to the iPod and all should be well.

Is there a way to make all screen text bold (but not necessarily) larger?

My sweetheart can't see font well except for that which is very bold. Chasnging the SIZE of font is too cumbersome for him because it enlarges the entire page and means he has to scroll everywhere to see everything he wants to see. We can't seem to locate an option to just make all of the font on screen go bold, rather than larger...

Only on web pages or also in the user interface?

Can you transfer all of your info from the ipod back to the computer? My computer crashed and I cannot get to the back up to transfer to my new computer. I have only been able to transfer itunes purchases.
