Why can't i use my Apple ID in Apple store?

I have tha same problem, I just downloaded IOS7, the following day, I change my passcode, but I forgot it. I tried to enter my passcode, until it was disabled. I reset it tru the itunes. To make the story short, it requires my Apple ID, however, my apple id is not accepted, it says: " This Iphone is currently linked to an Apple ID (l*****@icloud.com). Sign in with the Apple ID that was used to set up this Iphone." My iphoe is mine, first hand owner. Never change my apple id. In fact, when I tried to change my password, the apple id that I used was the one given to me. Please help me.....

Well, too bad you tried a million times. You will be locked out after 3 failed attempts to get the correct password, so 999,997 of those attempts were guaranteed to fail. You will have to go to https://appleid.apple.com and follow the instructions to reset your password.

OK that's what Ithought you were talking about.
You can't actually delete an old Apple ID. You just sign into the new ID to use that one. Your old ID must be popping up because you used it in the past to purchase content with it. You cannot transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another Apple ID. You have to continue to use the old ID if you want to update content that was used to purchase with that ID.
Did you sign into your new account in the settings and you can't stay signed in?

A friend of mine recently purchased an iPhone 4S, but he hasn't a credit card nor does his parents want to give him their credit card number to create an iTunes account. Now, I googled the problem and saw that he simply has to choose "None" when asked for payment type. But he told me there is no "none" option there. I checked it myself and saw there is really no one. You have to choose a credit card or PayPal.
I tried to type a random 16-digit VISA number but it doesn't work.
Has Apple really removed the "none payment type" option? What should the mate of mine do to open an iTunes account? I mean, it ***** as he can't download any apps.

And you're doing it EXACTLY in the way that the article describes?
Because by selecting a free application, you should always get the none option when trying to set up an account. You can't set up a non-paid account without the downloading a free app trick.
So; If you try to set up a brand new account WITHOUT using the method described in the article; You will never get the None option.
If you set it up using the method, you should always get the None option. If you're not getting the option; Maybe call Apple and report the issue directly to them. Too my knowledge, the option hasn't been removed.

Send it back. That's the activation lock and it's a theft deterrant program. If the seller can't or won't give you that apple ID to unlock it, then you'll never be able to use it (and it's a very real possibility that the ipad wasn't theirs to sell in the first place)

Sorry, but you can't use that iPhone. The activation lock is an anti-theft measure; Apple won't unlock that device for you.

Welcome to the Apple community.
If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

Erase the device by clicking the Erase button. This will erase all content and settings from the device. When prompted, do not enter a phone number or message. Click Next until the device is erased.
When the erase is complete, click "Remove from Account" to remove the device from the account.
After the device has been erased and removed from the account, you can proceed with the device setup process.
i forgot to erase the phone.i just removed it without erasing.
