Vertical line appearing on some pages in Safari 6 (rMBP)

I've had my MacBook Pro with retina display (OS 10.8.2) for less than 24 hours and noticed vertical black lines appearing on some pages in Safari 6. I pulled a page up in Firefox and the lines did not show up so it must be a Safari issue. Does anyone else notice this? And is there a fix?

Same here. Not sure if it happens with other programms as well, but I see it reguarly with safari. Could this be a safari (software) problem, or should I return my mac (still in warranty)?

Have you tried holding the power button down for several seconds? I would try the force quit as mentioned earlier first, or go to the Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities and try force quit there.

When i open firefox it instantly goes to the bottom of the page then opens a new one. i cant close the pages down the bottom and they are running in the background slowly everything down

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Page using Coolite Combos take a lot of time to load

I´m using a WEB page that use Coolite combos (now Ext.Net controls). These combos has around 400 to 500 rows of data (aroud 50 bytes each row).
If I use Google Chrome (last version) or Internet Explorer 8 the page is loaded inmediatly, but using Firefox 3.6.18, 4.0 or 5.0 take a lot of time, between 7 and 20 seconds to load. The load indicator (a green circle) freeze also.
If you need, I can publish a sample page with the Coolite combos, please say me if you need it.

Safari cant open some pages

I have OS10.6.2 in several computers and it works fine in all but my main machine the Macbook Pro,
where it tells me Safari can't open certain pages, including it won't let me log in to these discussions. Has similar problem with Firefox. Most troublesome - can some kind person help? Have tried all the usual troubleshoot moves. Thanks, Rudd.

Unable to close web page using Safari 7.3.1

Doing research and opened a page that required my name and password. No idea what's going on and unable to close page even after force quitting Safari and restarting computer.

Cant change pdf pages in safari

I recently bought the iPad 3, and so far so good, But i just encountered a problem:
I was browsing through my course documents in safari and when i click on pdf files i can only see the first page, i cant scroll to other pages or anything.
I tried to download the adobe reader app but it didnt do much, according to the manual you can just "open in" but i couldnt find such option.
Also is there a way to download the pdf files into newsstand or adobe reader? That would be simply marvelous

If you have installed Adobe Reader or iBooks then you should be able to see the PDFs in those apps. When you select a link to a PDF in Safari tap on the PDF to get the Open In choices. Once you open the PDF in iBooks or Adobe Reader it will be copied there so you can view it later if desired.

i did software update and i downloaded safari 4 and install it .. but safari 4 cant open some pages such as...omm may be i can't post other web here.. when i try to go to some web site (not all) this msg come up

i did reset safari.. it work once ( i can open page put when i click any link inside it the "safari can't open the page..." show again) and when i press back botton it also show safari can't open the page and i did safari reset again and also the same problem!!!
i did re- install safari and did repair permission and my mbp up to date but seems i can't browse this web site from my mbp with safari 4 ...
please if there is any way to install safari 3.1.2 again or solution for this problem just tell me

The LLBean site loads just fine for me. Besides, the "lost network connection" error and the inability to load Apple feedback page make me think the problem is not necessarily with Java or with one site.
Can you load other pages fine? Please post back.

I cant load some web pages from safari?

My Mac has over the last 24 hrs become very slow! It will load some pages but not others. I can access my email on Hotmail but not google or apple etc? When I click on safari the apple address comes up but the page doesn't load the blue bar is halfway and it doesn't load, there is no spinning wheel or anything? I don't know what it is? I have emptied the cashe but its made no difference, when I try and go on the extensions gallery it wont load either? The lap top and ipads are working fine so its not the internet I don't know what to do Im not very computer savy!!

Go step by step by step and test.
1. Power off the router. Unplug it from the wall. Wait a while.
    Plug it back to the wall. Power the router on. Wait until all the lights are lit properly. It will take a while.
    Restart the computer.
    Start up in Safe Mode.

2. Delete Caches.db
    Close all windows and quit all applications.
    Hold "option" key down and click "Go" menu in the Finder menu bar.
    Select "Library" from the dropdown.
    Library > Caches > com.apple.Safari > Caches.db
    Right click the Caches.db file and select "Move To Trash.
    Close windows and relaunch Safari.
3. Empty Caches
    Safari > Preference > Advanced
    Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".
    Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.
    Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the dropdown.
4. Delete Cookies
    Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and other website data:
    Click “Remove All Website Data”.
5. Safari > Preferences > Extensions
    Turn off Extensions if any and launch Safari again to test.
    Turn on those one by one and test.
