Here is how to do this:
Open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click Manual Setup
Click the Disks icon at the top of the AirPort Utility window
Click the Disks tab below the icons
Click Erase
The "Quick Erase" option will only take a moment or two
Now you can backup your MacBook Pro. If you connect an Ethernet cable from the MBP to one of the LAN <-> ports on the TC, the first backup will go 3-5 times faster than wireless.
Once you have the first backup done, you can use wireless for subsequent backups since they will only take a few minutes

Launch iTunes with the iPad connected to your computer.
Select the iPad under Devices in the source list left side of the iTunes window.
Select the Summary tab from the menu.
Deselect: Sync with this iPad over Wi-Fi
Quit then relaunch iTunes.

My scratch disk is pointed to the C drive(the only drive I have at the moment). When I open photoshop it makes a 64gb Temp file! that leaves me with 50gb free but whenever I go to make a change or add text it says scratch disk is full! Help please!!

I'm glad to know that you can get by on only 120 GB . However, that's not my experience on Windows. Admittedly, Mac and Mavericks in particular seem to manage memory a lot better than Win. But I've been using PS since ver 4 and it's always been a huge memory drain.
In CS6, I'm finding my scratch disk often exceeds 100 GB. I have dedicated almost 300 GB to mine and it's still not enough for everything I do. But I know how to manage my resources so I can get by on what I have until new computers arrive.

My Firefox crashed. I got Mozilla Crash Reporter. It refused to reopen no matter how often I tried or re-booted. It continued to try to restore Tabs. So I used MS Control Panel Add/Delete Programs. I deleted it and then used Chrome to download a new version. But it continues to try to reopen tabs. I love Firefox in spite of it's repeated crashing .... often when I am saving pictures to my hard drive. I love the add-ons and extensions. How do I get around it's effort to restore Tabs? I Note with the iOS8 update when I now delete a msg from a contact thread it still shows up with the time as a recent msg. How do I delete this from recent without deleting the entire thread?

My understanding is that music syncing is a one way process from computer iTunes to your iPhone. I think what you are asking is to have IOS synching back to an OSX or PC system. The software doesn't work that way.
You either have to uncheck the songs to be synced or create a separate playlist for "BC Canada iPhone" and only sync that playlist.
As well any purchases you made on your iPhone need to be transferred to your iTunes so they can come back to your phone when you re-sync.

I recently had a virus on my computer and took it into the shop to have it repaired. Ever since, I have not been able to open iTunes. So I uninstalled iTunes thinking that I could reinstall it and it would work. How ever wrong I was! It will download completely, but then it says that itunes had a virus and was deleted. I don't get how it could have a virus if its not on my computer??? I'm extremely frustrated!!!!!! Please Help!
iTunes, if downloaded from Apple, has no virus.
Turn off the security software on the computer temporarily. Ultimately the security software needs to be updated or replaced with a software package that works properly. -
