Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

    I had this problem just the other day it took me a few day to figure it out but what I did is go to setttings and click store then sign in . It then told me that I have to review payment option. Theer should be a option none in payment options but if there is not put in a credit card then conferm it then when your done you can take off your credit card option

    Make sure you have entered your Apple ID and password in settings (under Settings -> Store, Apple ID is at the bottom).  Enter the ID and password you use to make purchased in the iTunes store and you should then be able to connect to the store using iTunes on your phone.

    Saw this on another post.
    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if the two stores then work.

    Is there a reason why you're not on itunes 10? It is very likely that itunes 8 is no longer supported.

    I have just updated to Win 8, updated itunes done, changed fire wall settings, changed compat to win7 "win8 not aval",
    contacted support, did all the suggested fixes.

    when i try to acsess store, all that happens is the loading bar goes for ever and nothing happens. no store.
    all of my other devices still work (IPAD, IPODs, can still acsess the store).

    With those symptoms, I'd try the following document:

    (If there's a SpeedBit LSP showing up in Autoruns, it's usually best to just uninstall your SpeedBit Video Accelerator.)

    I got my iPad2 2 days ago and everything was going fine until last night.
    It suddenly stopped allowing me to install any apps, even though previously it had been installing apps just fine. I changed nothing, did nothing, it just stopped working last night.
    I have tried all the solutions I can find so far: Change the time and back again, sub DNS servers (I used opendns), changes to location services, etc. I can access everything fine from my PC.
    Please keep in mind that this happened within the space of an hour and I had changed nothing in my settings. The error started occuring and no matter what I do, I can now not download apps.
    This is my first apple device, I have been an Android person, and I though Apple was supposed to be easy and just worked. This is far worse than any problem I have had on an android device in the last 4 years and I have to say I am disappointed with my very first experience.BUT (very important!!! please read!) I do noty want to have a discussion on Android vs Apple please - I like both, and am only insterested in getting my iPad working. I would be very grateful for any help you can offer.

  • 2 iphones upgraded to io6 now recieving the same messages on both phones, also. cant get on safari, itunes store but can get on face book and poker.

    I have 2 iphones using th same itunes account(worked for a years so dont see why I should change this ) now both uprgraded to io 6 one is 4s, the other 4.  Since upgraade, If I send a message to hubby on the 4 phone it bounces back to me and says it from my number, if 3 of our kids, who are not on Our itunes account and dont live here send a message it comes to both of us, If I send message they confused as to who it came from.  Yesterday message from a stranger asking about something we selling, his messages were meant for 4 phone and came to my 4s as well, if hubby take a photo and send to some one I get it as well.  Itunes not working at all, safari, not working , face book and zynga do work how ever. How can I fix this. Telstra said it itunes problem which I agree, Problem was not there before io6 up grade. but messages from hubby mates dont come to my phone,  is it only strangers whose number we dont have and the numbers that we both have which would be our kids.  If I send message to hubby it bounces back to me as well as he gets it.  HELP Jenny

    This is what happens when using the same Apple ID on multiple devices for iMessage.
    Options are:
    Use different Apple ID's for iMessage, can still use the same Apple ID for purchases.
    Turn off iMessage.
