I Cant get Photoshop to open

Windows 7 64bit. I couldn't get the adobe program manager to work either. I re-downloaded the program manager and so now I can re-download PS6. Weird!

ok heres what u gotta do
yes i know its alot of steps but if you do them right it will work.
1.remove all active versions of itunes
2.then restart as it asks you to do, if it doesnt ask do it your self
3.unplug ipod
4.remove ipod software
5. restart
6.install the cd the ipod came w/
7.when it asks you if you want to upgrade itunes say yes
8.download the file
9.intall the newest version
10.restart
if you have done exactly these steps(exactly in this order)then itunes should be working now

I downloaded firefox,i cant get it to open, yet when i tried to delete it, windows explorer says firefox is running, even though i have no internet on

i was at a hotel using wireless, but suddenly my computer shut down, saying something about a blue screen, when i turned it back on, it wouldnt fully load the games i play on facebook, so i tried a lot of things, then i downloaded mozzilla, nothing happens when i click on it so i tried to delete it but my computer says its running and i have to close it first, but i cant cos i cant get it to open!!!!!!!

which infers the problem exists and seems to confirm the only way is to restart the machine.
Not being computer literate I cannot tell whether or not you can get around the 'lock/unlock' problem! What I need is an easy 'fix' but there does not appear to be one!!

HT1222 ok i cant get itunes to open it installs and when i click on the icon it takes me to the agreement dicloser i click agree and thats it it closes this happens everytime. ive installled and uninstalled it a number of times and still nothing??

Then proceed to repair your QuickTime.
START > CONTROL PANEL > PROGRAMS N FEATURES > highlight QUICKTIME and click CHANGE then REPAIR.

Can't get Photoshop to open

I downloaded Photoshop cs6. I then downloaded bandzip. I can see both of them in the downloads. I restarted computer. I can't seem to get photoshop to open.
Help.

When I go to my downloads it shows to files of photoshop.
When I go to your page and hit download photoshop I keep getting this message...
Administrator privileges are required to continue with installation.
I just bought a brand new computer a few days ago and it has windows 8 on it.

How do I get Photoshop CS4 to open .RWL raw files, taken on a Leica DLUX5. I have a Mac 10.91.operating system and have tried downloading and installing Camera_Raw_5_2.dmg, which has failed to do the trick.

Thanks Pierre, I have converted the .rwl files to .dng, but CS4 says it does not recognise them. What now? Or is Mylenium correct?

Hello, you should download the latest DNG converter: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/extend.displayTab2.html
I suggest to contact Leica and ask them why they do not use the DNg format on that camera, as they do on their more costly models.

Get Photoshop to open a SVG File?

Is there a way to get Photoshop to open a SVG File? I know I can open it in Illustrator save as a EPS file then open into photoshop but I would prefer a quicker method than that work around.
I found a Plug-In that will do this but it cost 99 for a year license and I do not use SVGs enough to justify the cost. Are there any free plug-ins?

This very along the lines of what I'd like to see as well...
I mean what's involved?... SVG is all paths, fills + gradients, no? I wanted to do this to, but to change them all manually into shapes and paths seems pretty broken.
This is related to many recent (past 3-5 years) problems in Photoshop...its inability to handle vector information appropriately.
I tried importing the SVG into illustrator, and exporting as .ai, thinking photoshop would understand the data as PATH's and masks and gradients then...but nope... wanted to force it all into bitmask data..Broken! Why can't it read in the paths and gradients AS paths and gradients? I don't want
to convert to a bitmap...
Seems like photoshop tries to force you into inefficient format by default and makes it difficult, near impossible to change from things created as vectors and shade/gradients, and patterns into objects that are those things, whereas the default should be to create the items as objects and convert or overlay bitmask layers on top of a layer so created, when needed, automatically. (sized for the actual bit mask and relative to the created shap layer.

Our computer crashed, we replaced hard drive, and now we can't get Photoshop to open.

One of our computers crashed and we had to replace the hard drive. Now we can't get Photoshop to open. Since the computer didn't give us any warning we didn't get to deactivate Photoshop before the crash. I've been on the Adobe site for over an hour getting run around in circles without getting even close to finding a solution. Apparently, there are no living humans at Adobe and their customer care department consists of this "community" and a lot of redundant web pages. Decent customer service would be a nice touch for such a big company.

Confirming and expanding on what RG said, not only is iTunes is not available for Android devices, it cannot sync to an Android device if you have iTunes running on a Windows or Mac system. You'll need to use the download stores provided for Android devices, and if you have music downloaded from the ITunes Store on a computer, whatever synchronization method Samsung provides for getting the music to your Galaxy.

Cant get Photoshop CC to open?

I am completely new to anything adobe other than Lightroom 4. I signed up for the Photoshop CC + Lightroom 5 and followed all of the instructions. Once CC was installed on my computer, I downloaded Photoshop CC, lightroom 5 and Bridge, all of which are showing as "up to date" in "my apps". I do see the new Lightroom 5 icon on my desktop along with my old lightroom 4 icon, but I cannot find Photoshop on my computer at all. Anytime I click on it in CC, it directs me to a download page, and when I click that, it takes me right back to the CC program which states it's "up to date". I'm getting fairly frustrated, and a bit dizzy from dancing in circles... any help would be appreciated.
