Content (apps, music, ibooks, films etc) is tied to the account that originally downloaded it, so if the iBooks app was downloaded using the account that you used to share with your ex then only that account can download updates to it. As it's a free app you could delete it and re-download it under your own account - and then re-download your ibooks into it (or copy the books to your computer's iTunes first via File > Transfer Purchases and then sync them back to the app).

If the password saved for iCloud on you iPhone is incorrect, but you know the correct password (for example, you can log in to your account at iCloud.com), you may need to update the saved password on the device. You may find the following article helpful:

Entering your Wifi password will not - unless I'm missing something completely - disable your iPad. The only thing which will disable your iPad that I'm aware of is entering your passcode for iPad incorrectly multiple times.

If you have forgotten your password for your router the WPA or WPA2 key as it's also known as they you will need to log in to your Router and setup a new WPA(2) key.

Tap on the id in Settings > Store and log out of it and then login with your id. Any content already on the iPad will be tied to the previous owner's id and it can't be copied or transferred to your id - so it's probably best to do restore the iPad back to factory defaults and start as from new with it : Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents And Settings

I understand that you have changed your phone number but your iCloud Keychain verification number is still your old phone number. You can edit this phone number in your iCloud settings on your iPhone. Please use the attached article for information on the process.

Make sure that the correct phone number is associated with your account:
In iOS 8, tap Settings > iCloud > Keychain > Advanced. In iOS 7, tap Settings > iCloud > Account > Keychain. Make sure the phone number under Verification Number is correct. If not, enter another phone number.

I turned off my Imessage and then switched my Apple ID. Now I cant sign in or out of the old one. What should I do?

I use imessage most of the time. I didnt take it into consideration that i needed to sign out first. Now if I try to turn it on, it gives me my old apple ID. When I enter the password, it just brings the message up again. How can I sign out of it?

You may be able to change or reset the password on this old iCloud/Apple ID account, even if you no longer have access to the email address associated with it. Once the password is changed/updated, you should be able to log your iPhone out of the old iCloud/Apple ID account and log in to the correct new account. If you need to reset you security questions, do not know the answers and no longer have access to that email account, see the last sentence under Note in step 5.
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need tocontact iTunes Store support in order to do so.

How can i activate my iphone 4 without the old apple id and password?

FYI: not a wise idea to post your email address in a public forum. The hosts
may edit it for you, but expect a full inbox courtesy of the spiders.
You have run into Activation Lock. Without the requested AppleID and password,
you will not be able to activate the iPhone. Return it for a refund if you can.

Hi, i have recently purchased an i-phone 4s and had been merrily playing away and set up an i cloud account. However when i tried to access i cloud from my pc i couldn't verify it. I had to change my apple id because i no longer had access to my old e-mail. I managed to sort out my i-phone and change all the accounts to my new apple i.d (except game centre? don't know how to do that yet.) but when i signed out of my old i-cloud account on my pc and tried to sign in with my new apple id it just tries to connect (i get the i'm thinking about it wheel) for ages; not allowing me to log on.

How can I recover passwords in firefox 13.0.1, after an OS change [reinstalled windows 7] and the old programs are in a windows.old folder. Thanks in advance...
