I changed the password for my Apple ID and now my iPhone won't send out my texts....says they are undeliverable unless I send them out manually as texts.

If you have recently changed the password on your Apple ID account, you may need to manually sign out and sign back in to your Apple ID on your device for the change to take effect. You may find the following article helpful:

Hello!
On all of these devices, go to: Settings > iCloud and make sure they're updated with the new password. If you're talking about Macs, go to: "System Preferences > iCloud" too. -
So my stupid mum decided to change the password instead of waiting for me to get up -_- and now I have lost all my iMessages that were very important and I can't find them I recently tried to back all my iPod up to my laptop but I had a look and couldn't find anything to do with messages can someone help
You only way is to restore from backup if you have backed up after the Messages were on the iPod but before you "deleted" them. iTunes only retains the last backup.

I am running Win 7 on all of the pcs in the house with an Android or two as well. I had to change the pw for my linksys router this past weekend and I noticed today that I can not get on as the "printer is offline". I have done the obvious cycling of pcs , router and printer. I have also tried checking / unchecking the use printer offline. Do I need to redownload the drivers and attach the printer by usb and reinstall it? Its been a while since I installed it and I can't remember if it needed a password to connect or not.

Since you changed the password to your wireless router, you will need to reinstall the drivers on your computer to reconnect the printer to your network. Prior to reinstalling, you will want to ensure that the wireless LAN setting on the printer is enabled. To do this, press the Maintenance button on the printer (looks like a pair of pliers and a screwdriver) repeatedly until the symbol that looks like "G" appears in the LCD, then press the <COLOR> button to enable wireless LAN.
Once the wireless LAN has been enabled, please click here to go to the DRIVERS AND SOFTWARE page for the PIXMA MP495. Once on the initial download page for your model, please do the following:
1. Verify that the operating system detected in the "OPERATING SYSTEM" drop-down menu is correct, and if it is not, please click the drop-down menu to select your operating system.
2. Next, please click on the red arrow next to the "RECOMMENDED FOR YOU" section and click the MP drivers file. When you do, a red DOWNLOAD button will appear. Please click on the checkbox below the DOWNLOAD button, then click the red DOWNLOAD button to begin the download. The time for the download process may vary depending on the speed of your Internet connection and the size of the file being downloaded.
Once the file has been downloaded, please double-click on it to reinstall the printer wirelessly.

i reset my disabled ipad 2 and it is asking me for the apple id which first set it up but i forgot the password for that apple id and the password/recovery information for the recovery email address. What can i do?
Click here and use Apple's iForgot service, or contact their Account Security team, or if you're the device's original owner, take it and its purchase receipt to a physical Apple Store.

I am trying to remove the backup encrypt for my Iphone 4 but the itunes ask for the password and basically I have not set any password before ...!!! Please note that I entered the password for my apple account and also it did not work, how i can reset it?
You can't reset it. If you don't konw the password then you can't use that backup

Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with. -

Why do I have to change the password for my Apple ID every 3 months?
Until recently I assummed that everyone had to change their password every 3 months, but on searching the web I found only a couple of mentions of other people who have to do this.
My Apple ID was originally set up when I bought a Mac through my company (which was not a developer) from AppleStore Small & Medium Businesses in 2002. Perhaps all accounts set up that way in 2002 work like this?
The only solutions I can think of are:
a) Change something in my Password and Security settings, but I can't see anything relevant.
b) Move to a new Apple ID, but I think I would lose access to existing apps I have purchased?
c) Ask Apple to change my settings, but the response a developer with this problem got from Apple was: "I am unable to change the password requirements and restrictions for your Developer Account".
Anyone else have to keep changing their password?With hindsight, the previous response I got from Apple was just a way of shelving the problem.
Having just had to reset my password after another 3 months, I contacted Apple again, and it happened that the senior advisor whom the phone agent consulted had had exactly the same problem as me, and had found that iTunes could fix it. However when I spoke to iTunes they told me I needed to speak to Apple ID account security. The Apple ID account security representative spoke to a senior adviser, then told me that it would be fixed after I reset my password. However I am not convinced that anything was actually done, so I may be back here in another 3 months ...
To modify Roger's advice, the solution I was given is: go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'All Products and Services' in the first column, 'iTunes' in the second column, 'iTunes Store' in the third column, then "Account Management" and "Apple ID account security", then "Talk to Apple support now". A complication is that the "Talk to Apple support now" option only appears when UK English is selected. So you either need to select UK at the top, or find another way of making phone contact (the email link just went back to the person in iTunes)! -

Without a backup, the use of iTunes or the use of iCloud, your only choice is to restore the device as new to remove the passcode. -

I recently created a new Apple ID (new passwort, new mail adress etc) and now my iphone does not want to update itself and "learn" the new one.
When I want to download apps etc a popup appears, asking me for verification in terms of typing in the password, but still with my old ID.
Can anybody help me?

Someone keeps changing the password on my apple id and apple not responding to calls.
2 hours ago i recieved a wave of emails saying my appleID password was changed, and the credit information was changed.
I went and sure enough the password was incorrect.
I recovered the account to find the Account holders name to be:

Ontop of that the credit card attached to the account was removed and a new one added(i won't reveal any info about this).
I'm seeking information on this since any calls made to apple are hung up by their voice recording system, telus can't assist me, and my credit card company says there is nothing they can do.
Why the **** doesn't apple have a 24/7 online chat support, they're a big enough company for this sort of thing.
Nothing else on my computer seems to be effected and i've scanned it with a few different virus scans now. I havn't downloaded anything recently, and none of my bank or any other information has been touched so far.(nor the online games i play however, they're much less significant).
This to me makes it seem as though the comprimise is on apples end and not mine, but i'm still open to suggestions seeing as i can't get a hold of apple until tomorrow after 9am...
e/ Also i tried a reverse lookup on 411.ca to find this person and they have an otherwise unlisted number. I was unable to call them and see what was going on there either...It seems clear to me that this is a security matter. You may find that contacting them via the link below will help your cause.

I would certainly edit out all financial details for the moment and re-enter them as directed by Apple security.
Apple will not usually change anything of their own volition so any direct contact suggesting what you describe is almost certainly dubious. -

You can change the password for your Apple ID (which is what you use to sign into the discussions) here:
