I click on iChat and nothing comes up

iChat is in the dock on my macbook pro. I click it, the indicator light goes on and it says iChat in my menu bar at the top but no window comes up. I've tried restarting my computer. I've tried launching it from the launch pad. Nothing works. What do i do?

Go to the Window Menu and Click the item that lists your Buddy List (It will list Keystroke of Apple/CMD ( or ⌘) and a number)
If it does not list Buddy Lists it will mean that they are not Logged in (and hidden).
If this is the case go to the iChat menu itself then Preferences > Accounts and enable a Buddy list (Account Info tab).
If there are Buddy List(s) listed in the Windows Menu then they will be brought up by the Keystrokes listed or selecting the item as already said.
iChat will remember the window positions when you closed it last.
i.e if you used the red Button top left of a Buddy List you will have closed the Window rather than Quitting iChat.
iChat will remember that the window is not in sight (Hidden) next time you open it.
You can also right/control Click the DOCK icon for iChat but this brings it back just for this (one) session.

Have you checked that the App is compatable with your 2nd Gen iPod and its iOS version...

Premiere Elements 13 won't launch in Windows 8.1 (Click the icon and nothing happens)

I'm running the trial version of Premiere Elements 13 on Windows 8.1 64-bit. It's a brand new PC built for video editing. Everything worked perfectly for about a week and all of a sudden I'm unable to start the program. I click the icon and nothing happens. No splash screen, no error code, no spinning circle cursor.
I have the latest video card drivers for my graphics card.
I've tried uninstalling the program, removed every last Adobe file from my PC, uninstalled all instances of Microsoft Visual C++ and reinstalled Adobe Premiere Elements 13. I tried the same with a fresh download of the program. Neither worked.
I've tried installing a couple .dll files based on a similar thread (where a program called iLivid was the issue). I don't have iLivid on this PC and adding the new drivers didn't work.
For the few days that the software was working I loved it and was ready to purchase. Unfortunately I won't be able to buy it until I can get it to launch on my PC. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My major problem was with the reliability of the uninstall reinstall of Premiere Elements 12 Windows. I did not encounter any issues in this regard with 11. And, I have only looked at the 30 day tryout of 13 from Adobe. My computers are Windows XP 32 bit, Windows 7 64 bit, Windows 8 and later 8.1 64 bit. The following describes what got me through the worse of these hassels.

I am not sure if the above will work for you with 13. But, it would be worthwhile to check them out.
Since you are dealing with current version 13, it might be a good idea to get Adobe via its Adobe Chat involved, with the hope of some remote control of your computer troubleshooting to try to get to the core of the issue. Chat Panels have been hard to come by for some of these issues, but let us try this route.

I have a user who when in Sharepoint she clicks edit document, and nothing happens.
It works fine for everyone else, including myself.
I have repaired office, and uninstalled/reinstalled it.
I have tried in IE and chrome.
We use o365 office 2013.
So to recap, in sharepoint, clicking the ... button for more options, then choosing edit, does nothing. HOWEVER, when right clicking and choosing to open, it will then, start a download which can be opened then proceed to edit that document.
But that darn edit button does nothing...

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Are you using the correct email address that you told her to FaceTime you at in the settings? In other words, is she using the email address or iPhone number in Settings>FaceTime>You can be reached by FaceTime at on your iPad?

Can you check something for me please?
Restart your PC. after the PC restarts, bring up your Task manager, and go to the "Processes" tab. Click "Image name" to sort the processes alphabetically.
Now try to launch iTunes.
Does an itunes.exe process appear? If so, does it vanish after a second or so, or does it persist in the Processes tab (even though iTunes itself never shows up)?

Sorry I forgot to mention I was doing this on a PC with Vista (the heading was Windows so I didn't bother to mention this). Anyway by trial and error I found that you can click on the .msi files to install them. The files were downlads of updates to iTunes and iCloud Control Panel.

You can try removing and reseating the memory and see if that works.
If that doesn't work, remove all but one memory module (if the PC has more than one), and see if the PC runs normally with one memory chip. If it beeps, remove and replace with the memory you removed and keep doing that until you find the bad memory chip.

I too had this problem after I redeemed two $50 gift cards. I solved the problem by uninstalling iTunes and reinstalling it. Give it a try.
