I copied firefox program from my laptop to my PC and now it wont work on PC??

it just come up saying 'the proxy server is refusing connections'
i have no idea what this means.
what do i do?

I am not entirely certain from your description what you have done but will at least try to give some information that could help.
Did the new PC previously work and connect to the internet, eg by using Internet Explorer ?
You could try making the network tab connections settings similar to those that work in Internet Explorer, or try the default settings see :

There is no supported way to do so. Be aware, photos synced to your phone were reduced in resolution for display on your phone. There is no way to recover their full resolution.
You should be backing up your Mac. If you did so, you wouldn't be facing this issue.

Someone connected my Superdrive to a Dell Laptop and now it wont work

I had a coworker connect my superdrive to their PC thinking it would allow them to run DVD's on their Dell laptop. Instead I now cant use it on my Macbook. Is there a way to undo this error, or did this fry my superdrive? My Macbook now wont even recognize that the drive is connected to it.

I got the same error, and I read a bunch of threads saying that Quick Time 7 needs to be installed separately. Also make sure your Norton or any other virus protection is turned off..it worked for me...hope it works for you!

You need to Download the Program first in to Local desktop then upload the same to another server, we can not move the code directly from a server to another server without a Transport request.
but you can call the program from other server using RFC destination, create a RFC for that server and create a function module in the server which the program is there and use the SUBMIT statmet in that function module, then from the other server call this function module using RFC destination

I want to copy a program from 4.6 to 3.1
There is a problem in this part of the code.
DATA: int_wezuo LIKE t163g OCCURS 0,
           int_ekpo LIKE ekpo OCCURS 0.
SELECT * FROM t163g INTO TABLE int_wezuo WHERE wezuo EQ 'X'.
SELECT * FROM ekpo INTO TABLE int_ekpo
         FOR ALL ENTRIES IN int_wezuo
         WHERE bstae EQ int_wezuo-bstae.
In 4.6, the table T163G has both the fields wezuo and bstae. So, it works fine.
But, in 3.1, the table T163G has the bstae field and does not have wezuo. The wezuo field is in T163E table in 3.1. So, it doesn't work.
Please suggest me the changes needed to be done to overcome this problem.

If you are going from 4.6 to 3.1 server then there will a lot of problem like this which you have right now. The only solution you can think of is getting the data from the table based on the relation between the two tables.

I imported my iweb site files from my desktop to my laptop and now they wont open up in iweb.
I can see the files in the home/sites folder but cant seem to be able to replace them with the site that is already in iweb?
I have just upgraded to lion on the macbook pro and was using 10.4.x on the desktop.
Is there any way to replace the files and work on the web site on the MBP?
And I dont see the library/application support/iweb folder anywhere.

And yes, you need the domain file. The movie demonstrates how to move them to and from the default location.

You can't activate any GSM iPhone without a valid sim card installed in the phone.
So, yes, you need to get a sim card.

Iphone 4gs using cloud, will not push calendar changes back to my Windows 7 laptop. It will push contact updates perfectly but it won't push calendar updates. It will push updates from the laptop to the iphone, but it won't work the other way.

Ok, new info. This gets better and better.
In OL2010, the Calendar in the navigation pane had no arrow indicating it had subcalendars within it. I right clicked on Calendar and chose New Calendar. It gave me a list of the existing calendars that were missing !!
When I cancelled, there was an expand arrow next to Calendar in the Navigation pane !!!!!
Expanding it showed the unchecked missing calendars. I checked them and synched again.
WRONG THING TO DO! ALL my wife's calendar entries in her iPhone since the laptop went down 3 weeks ago DISAPPEARED. No warnings, nothing at any step of this process. The OL files overwrote the iPhone data.
I can't find any way to get them back as this **** iStuff relies on iTunes for everything.
Is there any way to get her files back from before this synch?
Is there no way to save data files off the iPhone w/o iTunes?
Why doesn't iTunes let you control the direction of data transfer?
I now have one very ****** off wife.
