I deactivated Photoshop CC on my Mac Mini and downloaded PS CC on my MacBook 1.1. I didn't realize the program will not run on MB 1.1. I uninstalled the app on the MacBook. I tried to reactivate on my Mac Mini and it tells me I already have the program loaded on two computers. How do I solve the problem?

The activation server shows that it is now activated on two computer, it has been deactivated once .
When you install it on the third computer or for the third time & when you to activate it, if it installed & activated already twice, there will be an option of deactivating it from the previous computers, please click on that.(To deactivate from preinstalled machine, Open any Adobe CC application > Help Menu > Signout.)
Next it will allow you to activate on your new machine,
Now you can go back to your first computer, log out & log back in of Desktopp CC App, launch any product, if there is any product to buy, in that prompt there will be an option to " license the software", please click on that & sign in.
It will reactivate the CC on the first machine.
You have already deactivated it from one machine, hence you can activate it on third computer.

You can't install any application which requires iOS 4.3 or newer on a first or second generation iPod touch. If you still have a copy of that application compatible with iOS 3.1.3 or 4.2.1, import it into the iTunes library and sync it.

Authorization lists very old email addresses of which I do not have the passwords or, in fact, access to the email websites. Can anyone whelp me with a way to get around this?

Yes, I believe I did with no success playing some of my "old albums." The remaing albums worked just fine.
I think I found a workaround by signing in to the old website using "forgot" password and changed it to a new one. Then I signed in using my Apple ID and Passwird. This seems to have worked.

Firefox 27.0 is in Beta at moment until February 4 release.
You would be better off trying to use wither the User Agent Switcher extension or ua-site-switch extension to try a fool this one site or to use the portable Firefox 22.0 just for this one site.

You should not switch to using 22.0 only due to known potential vulnerabilities that is fixed in newer versions like the current Fx 26.0.

No matter what I do, I cannot get Firefox to run Java correctly. I've deleted the cache, etc., etc., but my school programs will not run on Firefox.

Firefox (v. 18.0.1) will not run my school programs any more since the Java scare. It also is choking at running screencast-o-matic.
And this is happening on both my computers not just one.
I have emptied Java cache, emptied the browser caches, downloaded the latest Java, Reinstalled it. Cleared caches again, etc., etc., etc.
Firefox will not run Java and I have to use IE which is the only browser that I have gotten the scripts to function so that I can use my programs.

Been there done that. Actually I have even install a fresh Firefox on virgin win8 64-bit laptop (without synchronising to my firefox in general) with the absolutely latest Java - didn't help either. And my test page is not the only one, but as I did this myself I know exactly the contents.
Since then my Firefox is in sync... well more or less as it seems it only sync some ways but that is another matter... but at least most of my stuff is back in place.
What I know is that the egg.html takes forever to load, and that the java part never shows. I think that this goes for most Java places, but I do remember that it was not always the case. Right now even the Oracle test page can't find Java, and I know it could at some point. Reinstalling tells me I already got Java, so it is there, likewise it is active in the plugin window. But some parameter some where must have gone haywire.

I had an old iPod under an old Apple ID which was stolen. I replaced it with an iPhone and apparently created a new Id under my current email address. When i went to sync the phone to my comuter (several months later), I accidentally restored the phone to my old iPod settings and lost everything. I then continued to make purchases on the phone but didn't realize that it had reverted back to my old Apple ID. This is under an old email that I no longer have access to. When I tried to change the Apple ID/email address in the account settings, it won't let me because it says that there is already an Apple ID under this address. However, all my information (settings, contacts, photos, aps) are under an incorrect email. How can I change the account I have been using to reflect my valid current email address if there is already an existing account (which I never really used) under this address? Please, I don't want to lose all my info again.

Change the email on the old account to another new, current email address.
An email address can only be linked to one Apple ID.
It is possible to have content from multiple Apple ID's on a single iDevice.

The runInstaller program will not run.

Hello All. I have read many of the postings in regard to trying to get the installer to run for 8.1.6R2. I have tried without success the CD ISO creation process from the 816R2.tar.gz file as suggested by Josue Amaro. I downloaded the tar file from the Oracle OTN site. It untarred and un gzipped without incident. One thing I noticed is that the files (either on the ISO CD that I created) or the un-tarred files all have root group and Id. Would (should) I change these to Oracle:oinstall??? Would the ownership/group hurt running the runInstaller program on the cd root????
If anyone knows how to get the beast to run, either from un-tarred files on hard disk, or an iso file made by me using the mkisofs program, I would like the info.! The oracle product is difficult to get going, but it is good! (I have successfully installed and run 8.1.5).

I had the same kind of problem. I unzipped the gz on a win2k machine then burnt that structure to a CD. I tried to install from the CD on a Redhat 6.2 but it wouldn't run the runInstaller. I copied the gz to the Linux /tmp directory and 'tar zxvf' the file. The runInstaller would work from there. I had previously created an Oracle user with a 'dba' group ID. From inside gnome, I opened a terminal session, entered 'xhost +', su - oracle, cd to /tmp & run the runInstaller without incident. I didn't have enough space for the default database so had to abort the dbassist database creation. As everyting else had installed OK, I deleted the stuff under /tmp to reclaim space and run dbassist to create a database with much reduced datafile sizes. This worked fine.

ok so i went to the apple website and downloaded the installation wizard from the website. i have windows xp and have Symantec Client Firewall which is disabled. the installation shortcut then shows up on my desktop but when i open installation wizard, this is the message i get:

I got ride of the smart build and simplified it by just animating each photo separately but the same thing happened.

Trying to upgrade to V.8, cannot open Firefox. Have uninstalled, loaded 8 again then 7 , 9 and finally 6. The program will not run. Operating Windows 7. When I try to uninstall, I am asked to 'close Firefox' but it isn't open ( Task Manager confirms).

Firefox 8 won't open. The Windows 'wheel' which indicates a program is opening spins for about 5 seconds and then stops and nothing happens. I have spent several hours uninstalling and then loading different versions but still the same thing happens. I frequently switch off and restart the computer but nothing happens. I have changed the Windows firewall to allow Firefox, again nothing happens.

In the task manager, are you looking at Processes? That is where you find Firefox listed when you see no interface, not in Applications.

II sent an response via the automatic error reporting but have not received any info back.

A possible cause is security software (firewall,anti-virus) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.

Imac 13,2 with 3 RAM chips instead of 4 RAM Chips. Is there any hard data supporting the fact that the iMac will not run optimally with only 3 chips versus 4?

I have a imac 13,2 with 3 of the 4 memory(RAM) slots filled. Two with 4gb chips and one with an 8gb chip. Is there any reports or statistics to support using matching pairs(4 chips) of ram versus running 3 chips? Is the machine running optimally w/3 chips? Or does it not matter with these newer imacs as each RAM slot is fully iundependent of each other therefore getting the most out of each chip no matter if 3 slots are filled or 4 slots are filled?
