If you are having issues turning on Always Allow for cookies in Safari on your iPad, you may want to check to make sure that you don't have Private Browsing enabled, as noted in the following article:

That is so dumb...Apple is the best and most techinological company IN THE WORLD and they don't have the time to invent something like that? HUH? All they are worried about is making the "Worlds best Phone" and they can't take the time out to help their users or anybody that has their products. I have an iMac G4 PowerPC with OS 10.5.? The OS10.5.8 update failed. Now get blue screen and error-can't find Intel Power Manager. What now??

After deleting 17G of music files to make room on the 74G drive, The iPhoto and iWeb updates seemed to load okay, but the OS 10.5.8 update failed - message opened said the computer encountered an error and must shut down. Now I get the blue screen. Startup with 'V' pressed shows multiple lines saying: error-can't find IntelCPU Power Manager. What now?? I reset PRAM, I think.....?????

I am concerned that you might have applied a system updated intended for an Intel iMac, while you have a PPC (non-Intel) iMac. Your PPC OS should not be looking for an "IntelCPU Power Manager."
Have you tried booting from the 10.5 install DVD/CD and repairing the hard drive, plus repairing permissions?
If you done the repairs mentioned above, and your problem still persists, you can also try doing a safe boot. (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1455 ) Then, if none of these things worked, if I were in your shoes (it's hard to diagnose these things without being there in person) I would first check that there is adequate disk space, then I would boot from the 10.5 DVD/CD install disk and reinstall the operating system. There is an option to do an archive and install preserving user files/settings, that would be the option you want, as it will save your files but install a new OS. Make sure you have a good backup of your files first. If you do not have one, use "target mode" to copy all your files before embarking on an new OS install. Assuming that you do succeed with this install, then use Software Update to get the right updates for your iMac.

Phil, thank you for that info. I just found the incoming section, but is different from what you show. I don't have the "Delete from server" setting on my phone. After Authentication mine shows IMAP Path Prefix/ and then goes to the Server Port as the next setting. This is in my work email account and the one I really want to save on the server. Any other idea or explanation on why different??
On my personal account (Yahoo), the advanced screen was much different, but I think I found the same setting and changed it to never. That one appears to be working.

I have accidently deleted safari from my iphone and can't find it to put it back. I did it ages ago as I didn't know what it was and I was trying to create extra space! Now when I click on a link say in an email, it doesn't come up with a browser. I have looked at the apple site but can only see a download for mac users. Not sure if this is the case because it is preinstalled on the iphone.

IPhoto: I clicked Enter Full Screen by mistake, now I can't get out of it. The button in View to exit full screen does not work. I cannot see any other way to exit full screen. In full screen, I cannot see my events, nor can I do any quick fixes.

I accidentally got into Full Screen mode in iPhoto, and can't figure out how to get out of it. The last item in View is unresponsive (Exit full Screen). I've looked online but can't find any way to get out of iPhoto full screen--no arrows show on top right or bottom right. I cannot find 'events' or crop photos, the only option I have is to scroll through a certain number of photos that I don't want to see. Please, I just want to get out of Full screen mode. Give this a try:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder: User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try full screen again.
NOTE: For Mavericks and Yosemite, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

Technically, the phone CAN be tracked using the "serial" number, but no one will do that for you. If your phone is offline, there's no way of reaching it. Most likely, it's already been restored and either put up for sale on eBay, or is being used by the theives themselves.
Sorry, but there's nothing else you can do other than report it to your carrier, the police, and change all your passwords to any account that might have been in use on the phone.

Widgets are located in the folder, users/"user name"/library/widgets/
Whilst holding down the option key in finder, and selecting the library under the "go" menu, you can access your library within Lion.
If you have a working Time Machine backup, you can restore those missing files back to the widgets folder. If you don't, and your widgets folder is empty, then they are indeed gone (unless they are still in the trash). You would then have to re-download them from where they came.
If everything is there, then just click the "+" symbol at the lower left corner of the dashboard screen to add them back to the window.
