I do not have the ability to edit my .pdf once converted into a word document. Did I purchase the wrong version?
When I covert my pdf into a word document it does not allow me to edit the actual text. I can add random text to the document, not following the format of the document (not aligned, not the same font, etc.). I can add text, but I cannot what is already in a sentence or paragraph.
Did I purchase the wrong version?

You have the right tool for converting PDF files to Word. For starters, please try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit. If that doesn't work, we'll need to take a closer look at how the PDF that you converted was created (did it start out as a scanned document, for example). If it did start as a scanned document, it's important that OCR (optical character recognition) was performed during conversion to convert scanned text to editable text. OCR is on by default when you convert via the ExportPDF website, but can be turned off if you convert via Reader.
If triple-clicking doesn't work, let me know, and then we'll take a closer look at your file.

On the homepage of firefox it sayd that I do not have the latest version of firefox. So i desidet to update it, but after that it kept on telling me that I do not have the latest version. Companies such as powerbookmedic, wegenermedia, and others can take in portable macs of vintage or newer (contact them for details on what they do, and how they accept work orders) for repair and can fix most anything; and have a parts inventory. Modern repair workstations allow the equipped service company to fix complex issues and they do troubleshooting. Sometimes the cost is less than a replacement logic board.

Usually the issue is caused by hardware, especially if there is an indication of machine failure in the crash log or other screen image text.
A working last model MacBook (mid-2010) would be a better 'first mac' to have.
Hopefully you can sort it out.
If not, there likely are fair parts in it.

I just purchased an iTunes TV show and it successfully downloaded. It is now saying that I do not have the proper version of QuickTime on this version of iTunes (10.6.3).
How can a show I purchased be incompatible with the latest version of iTunes?

Every time I click on a video icon, the response I get is that I cannot play the clip because I do not have the correct flashplayer. However, when I click to download it, nothing changes. I even tried disabling my security setting but it still did not work. Unfortunately, the troubleshooting help was too complicated for me to figure out. Is there something basic I can do to make firefox work? It does work on Internet explorer, so obviously the correct program is in my computer - it just won't work on firefox.

I down load the latest version drag it into applications and then to the dock saying replace the older version and when I open Firefox the next time it says I have the older version.
I have dragged the older version into my trash but it keeps coming back. please advise.Do you see that message on the www.google.com/firefox site?

How do I edit a scanned file converted to a word document?
How do you take a scanned document to a word document & then edit it?
Many scanners have the ability to save as PDF. If you scan your document to a PDF file, you can then use the ExportPDF service to convert that file to a Word document. The ExportPDF service will perform optical character recognition (OCR) on your document to try to identify the text as actual text instead of an image. You should then be able to edit the file.

You should be able to accept this message, it will cause existing music, photos (not camera roll) and videos (also excluding those in camera roll) to be removed and replaced with those from this computer. All other user data on the iPad will be unaffected.

You may see that erroneous update message below the Google search box on www.google.com/firefox which is the old Firefox default home page. It appears that page is no longer being maintained by Google. You appear to have the latest Firefox version.

If Network Magic is not now installed on the question computer, you need to unsbscribe from the E-mails themselves to stop them.
As for not seeing the computer from the other computer, you need to adjust Vista's Network and Sharing Center, to allow the computers to see each other.
