I don't have the icloud button in finder, or pages so frustrating please help.

I use a mac at home and at work and want to use icloud to keep my documents up to date. But it is not working properly, I hope. Meaning I have to download and then upload each time I make a change. I used to use idisk and LOVED it but I have all the settings done, all software is up to date but not seeing any icloud buttons anywhere.

You need the latest operating system OS X 10.8 to be able to use all the latest features of iCloud, such as syncing documents from the applications themselves.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Next to your Payment Type, click "Edit." Select the "None" button and click "Done." Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.

An iPod Shuffle can't use iCloud. It can only be used on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a supported Mac or PC.
Also you can't create and iCloud acount on your PC (or your iPod Shuffle). You have to create your account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher. After creating the account on one of these devices you can sign into it on your PC. But this still won't allow you to add songs to your iPod Shuffle as it doesn't support iCloud.

You are probably running OS 10.4 or 10.5 on a PPC Mac. No version of iTunes higher than 10.6.3 is available for these older Macs. I have the same problem, and while I can still use the PPC to sync my iPod, it can't be used to sync an iPhone 4 or higher. The only solution, as I discovered after upgrading to the iPhone 4, is to buy a newer Mac. I was able to get a 2006 MacBook running Lion for under $300, and that has been a lifesaver.

After installing new version, I don't have the firefox button feature.

I don't have the orange firefox button to allow me to see all of my menu options. I am running XP.

Usually you have either the orange Firefox button or the classic menu bar, but not both at the same time.
You should be able to switch back and forth this way:
If the classic menu bar is not displayed, tap the Alt key to display it and then use
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
to make it persistent. It should replace the orange Firefox button. To switch back, uncheck
View > Toolbars > Menu Bar
Does that work??

I could synchronize my iPad with my Mac Book Pro before replacing the hard drive and recoveing data from my Carbonite backup.
Now I don't see the iCloud icon in SYSTEM PREFERENCES.

I have a problem with safari, when I open new tab the tabs don't have the exit button that it used to be on the left corner of each tab and i used to close the safari with command Q witch is not working anymore ! what am I supposed to do ?

I do not have the "info button" as an option pages at I downloaded onto my iPad2. All I have is the paint brush, plus sign in the box, and a wrench.

I watched a video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2hC089Iri0 and noticed that I do not have the info button, nor the insert button or full screen button which are also described in the "Getting Started" document in pages on my ipad. Is this something I need to worry about?
Also wondering if you can make pages document in landscape or is it only for portrait?

With the latest release of iOS and iWork apps for iOS, Apple has changed the Toolbar buttons:
What used to be the i - Info Button where object properties and text were changed is now the Brush icon (For styles, I guess) but has the same basic function as the i icon before - select an object or some text and tap the brush and you can change basic attributes.
What used to be the Media Insert icon (representation of an image) is now the "+" Button with the same functions as the previous icon - you can add shapes, tables, charts and media
The Tools Menu (wrench) is the same as before except in Keynote it now also has the Transitions and Builds access menu (double diamond icon) which used to reside on the toolbar and is now tucked under the Tools Menu
The View Full Screen (double arrow icon) has been removed and the document is now always in full view, sort-of.
Apple has yet to update their Getting Started Files for Pages, Keynote and Numbers to reflect these changes so it is understandably confusing to users.

When I created a new account on my computer's iTunes yesterday, I first logged out of my existing account. I then found a free app in the store, clicked on it's free 'price' to 'buy' it, clicked on 'create Apple id' and filled in details about the new account and which gave me the option of 'none' for the payment details - clicking on the 'verify' email that I received then allowed me to download a free app.
That is the process that you are using when you tried to create both new accounts ? The instructions won't work on existing accounts (even if the account has only been partially created), and you are in the country that you are trying to create the account for ?

If you did not have Find My iPod enabled, and you do not have iCloud, then you cannot track it. You can report it to the police, you should change your AppleID password, and then all you can do is old fashioned detective work - start with the last place you remember having it, and check every place in between that point and now....

I have reinstalled the drivers. I watched it install the realtec and cirrus drivers. Hovering the mouse over the speaker icon says 'speakers: HP'. They are actually 'Creative'. 'Properties' indicates 'IDT High Definition CODEC' and 'This device is working correctly'.
Driver details gives 'c:\Windows\system32\drivers\dmk.sys'.
There is still no sound, although the little level meter on the control shows a green bar rising and falling.
Obviously, it thinks it's working, but there's no connection to the speakers. They're not muted, either. I checked that too.
Any other ideas?
