I dont want the iphone to search my GAL when composing a message?

I have an exchange account set up on the phone. All I want that account to do is send and receive email. When i go into my Yahoo account and start typing a persons name, it searches the global address book of my exchange account. How do I stop the phone from doing this?

Thanks alot John for your contribution. However that is not the problem. Its not that I dont remember the passwords for all my gmail accounts. Whenever I log in and type in my username and password, the system reverts to the original page and without the information I had typed in.When I repeat the process it reverts again to the original page without the details I had typed in.

Your iPhone and iPod can share the same iTunes account. Apps can be freely shared and used by one or both devices. You can't use money in your iTunes account to pay for your phone, but purchased apps can be used by both the iPod and iPhone.

If I am understanding you correctly, it sounds like you are returning to an old iPhone that has been erased and you would like to set it up as a new device without restoring from a backup which would affect the name of your iPhone, as well as the contents therein. Basically, it seems like you may be stuck on a screen that is asking if you would like to restore your device from the backup that is filed under the name of your new iPhone, or if you would like to set up the device as a new device. I would suggest that you set it up as a new device to achieve your desired results.

Try runing iTunes in admin mode. That fixed the issue for me. You can either right click on the shortcut on your desktop and choose to run as an admin each time you launch it or go to the advanced tab under security on the program itself and click the run as admin every time.

Dont want the posting for mandotory condition type

i have make pr00 mandatory but not assign any accounting keys to it as i dont want the posting for that price but at sales order creation it is asking for G/L numeber and giving the error.
please help me on this hwo i can remove this rpoblem as i dont want to hit g/l posting but also dont want to make condition type statical.

During sales order, if you are getting a message to maintain a GL account, it may not be related to the condition type. It may be related to some other account assignment features also.
If you have maintained a condition type as mandatory and have not maintained an account key, it is fair. Such a configuration is acceptable and it will not post to GL account.
So, the message you are getting is related to something else, please post the verbatim of the message in the forum.
Also check if you have some functionalities like project in SD process, cost or profit centers, third party sales transaction etc during which this error has come.

No, nothng bad will happen.
If you purchase from eBay (or a used iPhone from anywhere) you may end up getting ripped off oi fthe seller does not remove the activation lock.

what exactly are you trying to accomplish here? i understand that you don't want to see the music status come up on your lock screen, but what are you trying to do by clicking your home button at all?

I have to tell you, when giving someone a gift someone is truly wanting for Christmas,it stinks to have to either put a picture or card in it's place. I want to give my wife and two older children an iPhone but don't want them to know they're getting one. Apple is making it very difficult to do this. If I purchase these phones and have them activated now, the phones my family uses now will not work. I understand that I could try and sneak the new SIM cards into they're order phones, but my two older kids are in college and not close to home. I don't want to sell these phones on ebay. I don't want to sell these phones to my friends. I want to finish my Christmas shopping before DEC 24!

I know you want to surprise your family on Christmas morning with iPhones as gifts. (Who wouldn't be excited for this?) But because of a few ruining it for the rest of us you probably won't be able too.
What you could do is, move the surprise up a few days (or maybe not). Hopefully your kids will be coming home from school around the same time and a few days early. At some point you could go get the iPhone's from where ever when they are all at home (and you know they are there). Before you leave the store remove the SIM cards (make sure you know which will go with which number). Then when you get back home they will probably have noticed their phones aren't working. You can say you went to AT&T after something was wrong with your phone and they said you needed a new SIM card. Then make up some story about it messing with your entire account and so every phone would need a new SIM card on your account. Give them the new SIMs and put the iPhones under the tree! Then on Christmas be sure to have that camera out.
