I am not computer savy. sorry. I have downloaded from your Firefox.com and still show Internet Explorer at the top of my screen. Before I take that icon off my desktop I need to know how to get the Firefox on there and be able to use it. I have google as my home page. Can that stay for my home page? I cannot use this until I get help. might have to have someone of my friends come and help me get this functional. I really was wanting to change from IE cause it is so slow.

You should never, EVER let a conputer hard drive get completely full, EVER!
With Macs and OS X, you shouldn't let the hard drive get below 15 GBs or less of free data space.
If it does, it's time for some hard drive housecleaning.
Follow some of my tips for cleaning out, deleting and archiving data from your Mac's internal hard drive.
Have you emptied your Mac's Trash icon in the Dock?
If you use iPhoto, iPhoto has its own trash that needs to be emptied, also.
If you store images in other locations other than iPhoto, then you will have to weed through these to determine what to archive and what to delete.
If you use Apple Mail app, Apple Mail also has its own trash area that needs to be emptied, too!
Delete any old or no longer needed emails and/or archive to disc, flash drives or external hard drive, older emails you want to save.
Look through your other Mailboxes and other Mail categories to see If there is other mail you can archive and/or delete.
STAY AWAY FROM DELETING ANY FILES FROM OS X SYSTEM FOLDER!
Look through your Documents folder and delete any type of old useless type files like "Read Me" type files.
Again, archive to disc, flash drives, ext. hard drives or delete any old documents you no longer use or immediately need.
Look in your Applications folder, if you have applications you haven't used in a long time, if the app doesn't have a dedicated uninstaller, then you can simply drag it into the OS X Trash icon. IF the application has an uninstaller app, then use it to completely delete the app from your Mac.
Download an app called OnyX for your version of OS X.
When you install and launch it, let it do its initial automatic tests, then go to the cleaning and maintenance tabs and run the maintenance tabs that let OnyX clean out all web browser cache files, web browser histories, system cache files, delete old error log files.
Typically, iTunes and iPhoto libraries are the biggest users of HD space.
move these files/data off of your internal drive to the external hard drive and deleted off of the internal hard drive.
If you have any other large folders of personal data or projects, these should be archived or moved, also, to the optical discs, flash drives or external hard drive and then either archived to disc and/or deleted off your internal hard drive.

After saving the file which is likely called "Firefox Setup 4.0.1.exe" you need to run it to install Firefox 4.
If you do not clear the downloads from the download manager, you can run the installer from the downloads manager. Open the download manager, then right-click on the Firefox setup file and select Open. As soon as you start running the setup file, close Firefox. You need to do this so that the setup file can replace the files in the Firefox installation directory.

Hi: I have been trying for several hours, in fact all day and into the late evening, trying to get Creative Cloud back to its usually helpful self. My older laptop finally gave up on me but it still holds over 2000 of my recent images and I want to get them back unto a working version of LR. .
I am in Florida and my desktop is in my house in Ontario, Canada. So I picked up another Windows 7 ACER laptop. Actually it was a Xmas gift for my wife who had been suffering from Windows Hateitis .She has recovered and almost likes 8 now. So I get to play with the newer laptop until we get back up north in late March.
However the gremlins seem to have got there before me and Creative Cloud's installer just won't do it's job.. It stutters along weakly for a few seconds and then quits without launching a single byte.
I have downloaded the. exe files but Mulder and Skully are no longer around to solve the mystery.
Perhaps one of you can.
Once I get LR on board I can work on getting those 2000 plus raw files from a dead laptop to a hopefully healthy one. At least it is not a hate.

a quick update, I turned off all security software on my windows desktop and tried this 'Restore' process via iTunes again and it appears to be processing....what an unbelievable PITA

Thanks John. I have tried solutions 1 to 3 from (-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.h tml) and they do not work. So I presume that all I can do is to remove all 25 CC applications and start again!
Incidently, ( http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/ ) does not list Adobe Camera Raw 8.4 as an update even though Adobe have announced that it is available (http://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2014/04/camera-raw-8-4-and-dng-converter-8-4-now-a vailable.html). The same applies for Adobe Premiere Pro 7.2.2 (http://blogs.adobe.com/premierepro/2014/04/premiere-pro-cc-7-2-2.html). If they are not available this would explain why I cannot download them but I am very suprised that Adobe didn't mention this when I contacted them.
