I downloaded Face Time and now can't use it because upgraded to OS Lion.

Is there a new Face Time I can download? Since I upgraded to OSC Lion it won't work. I want to use it.

Have you gone to the app store to see if there is an update? Have you tried clicking on Software Update to see if the system offers an update?

You need to ask the previous owner to remove the activation lock. If you can't(and they don't do it on their own), the device is useless to you.

Installed itunes 10.5 and now can't use function keys on my keyboard

Yeah I agree the white keyboard was clunky, I dont really miss it. The problem is you can't just use the new lighter keyboards with the white imacs bc the operating system is outdated. The apple store told me I needed to upgrade my operating system and it would cost me 170 dollars, which I found incredulous.
I dont think its due to an app running or an expose issue, thanks for your responses.

I automatically back up my hd and now can't use my itunes library... Help!

I started using a Lacie external hd to automatically back up my hard drive using the time machine application. however, now when I try to play the music from my itunes library (or anything else for that matter) I get a message saying: "it can not be played because the original file could not be found" it then ask if "I want to locate it". I click yes but it only takes me to the drives directory.I go to the library in the external hard drive but when I find the itunes library in that hd and click to open,it sends me back to the original library and the whole cycle starts again.
Can anyone explain me what's happening and how I can get get my library back to play the music?

Uploaded iOS 4.2 for my iPad and now can't use it

Please help. I uploaded iOS 4.2 for my iPad and now I can't update, restore, or get my iPad to show up on iTunes. When I click restore it gets to "Preparing iPad for restore", then states it can't restore due to error 1604. I have followed the trouble shooting guide, but it still won't restore.

This is a copy and paste from an link I listed below. It might be helpful.
Error 1604: This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, uninstalling and reinstalling USB ports, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections, device not recognized properly, computer won't recognize a FireWire or USB device). If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the USB 30-pin dock-connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode, put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for error 1604.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and re-open iTunes while iPhone remains connected.
iPhone should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.

HELP! Consolidated music and now Can't use it and Can't find it!

My laptop was stolen and I've recently used iPod Rip S/W to get my music from iPod to my older G4 Tower Hardrive. before doing this I consolidated my music (following some apple directions) and now that all my music is in iTunes using iPodRip, the stuff that was consolidated has a checkmark by it and I can't play any of those songs. Says "Can't find the original - would you like to find it?" I say yes and by searching thru the two music folders on my computer, the music doesn't exist!
Help - I can only hope this makes sense to someone. This has been SUCH a drag in the first place and I just want my music back. I have over 1900 songs and 1/2 are showing unusable right now
Please respond - I feel like I'm going in circles now.
