I downloaded new version 5 , wont open at all and cannot remove from computer
Im using windows 7 , yesterday I downloaded the newest version of Firefox, now my caomputer cannot open the progarm . I thought of removing and r einstaling , when I try I get a message telling me I need permission, although I have already made myself admin . So I cannot open or remove firefoex. When I try to open it a small box opex at top left of screen , ifd I click on this it opens a blank firesfox page which does nothing?
I am extremelt diappionted as I love firefox
I figured it out. I changed the installation folder to C:/Java and it finally worked!

I downloaded 7.4.3 version of iTunes and it doesn't open at all. Gives error message. "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close."
I have previous version of iTunes in my spare HD, in the same computer, and it works perfectly fine.
I have unistalled and re-installed again and again many times including with the help of Apple Support help in the phone and came up with no clues of what's going on.
How can I get a previous version of iTunes to download to my PC? I have looking for a place on Apple's website where I could probably have my issue resolved, but I found nothing.

Itunes wont open at all and its not responding
okay hi im new to the this but ive been using itunes forever...uhm i kno there has been alot of topics relating to this but i have read everything and it didnt help,.. uhm i tried to install the microsoft cleining thing and i did but i cant find the icon to open it.... well i need some help itunes wont even open up at all and i need to fix it b4 christmas cuzz thats when i get my ipod well plz help thanxs

it was a little hard to read your post due to your grammar, but I need some more info on you in order to help.
First off, I need to know which Windows OS you are running? What antivirus and firewall programs are you running? Is iTunes and/or Quicktime installed on your PC?
Have you gone to Windows Website to download and install any new updates recently?

Java Control Panel wont open at all and any Java Applets crash web browsers

I recently installed a fresh fully updated copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit, and I have not for the life of me been able to get Java working at all. Java version is the latest JRE 6U31. I only have Internet Explorer 9 installed but I doubt it is a browser issue since I cannot even open the Java control panel. I have tried using the 32 bit version of Java, and the 64 bit. Anytime I try to open the Java control panel with either 32 bit or 64 bit, I get an error message (click link below to view error message):

I can only bring up the Java Control Panel using the command “javaws –viewer” . Anytime I try to load a web page with a Java applet in either 64 bit or 32 bit, it freezes and crashes. I am running Internet Explorer 9 and have tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit browser versions. I saw Java’s recommendation to only use the 32 bit version so I have mainly been trying to get the 32 bit version working 1st, with no success. I have tried ALL of the following steps, and have done some exhaustive research on this problem. It seems others have had this issue as well, with no solution to be found:
• Uninstalled and reinstalled only Java 32 bit JRE 6u31 multiple times (Used Javara and reg cleaner to remove all old Java traces)
• Uninstalled and reinstalled only Java 64 bit JRE 6u31 (Used Javara and reg cleaner to remove all old Java traces)
• Uninstalled and reinstalled bit JRE 7 (Used Javara and reg cleaner to remove all old Java traces)
• Used SFC /scannow in safe mode to verify Windows files
• Ran spyware and virus scan with no issues detected
• Added all java processes to windows firewall
I am out of solutions here. If anyone has had this problem with Java or knows what I need to do to fix the problem your advice would be greatly appreciated. I don’t think reinstalling windows is the solution because this is a fresh install.

When I try to open a spreadsheet on my Mac that I worked on with my iPhone, I get "You need a newer version of Numbers to open this spreadsheet." When I go to the App store, it says I already have it. I have v. 2.3 and can't seem to download newer version.
If you are running Mavericks, and the Mac App store says you are up to date, then you have Numbers 3.2 as well as Numbers 2.3. You are getting the "Need a newer version message because your Mac is trying to open the document using Numbers 2.3.
Launch Numbers 3, then open the document from within that app, or right click/control-click the document and choose Open with Numbers 3.x.

I was prompted to download newest version of itunes, which I did and the restarted the computer. Now it says itunes is currupted or installed wrong. What do I do so that I don't loose my music and apps.
Let's try a repair install of iTunes first.
Restart the PC. If you're using Vista or 7, now head into your Uninstall a program control panel, select "iTunes" and then click "Repair". If you're using XP, head into your Add or Remove Programs control panel, select "iTunes", click "Change" and then click "Repair".

I try to open iphoto and it comes up with You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto. I have downloaded photo manager and it's telling me to update but it wont update...
iPhoto is Apple's included program to manage your photo's and pictures.
It receives updates over time with Software updates and new machine or iLife purchases.
When iPhoto gets updated or a newer version is used, it may alter iPhoto support files, but newer iPhoto versions usually always compatible with older files which it then updates.
If you used a newer iPhoto on your iPhoto support files, then they got altered to the newer format, older iPhoto versions can't read the older format.
Somewhere along the line you somehow got a older version of iPhoto on your computer, you need to fine the newer version of iPhoto (not this photo manager, sounds like another program)
Or somewhere along the line you used a newer iPhoto version (like on another Mac) and it altered the iPhoto support files on your older version of iPhoto.
So the key here is to find the newest version of iPhoto and use that to access your iPhoto support files.
If you didn't access your iPhoto support files from another Mac, then you should have the newer iPhoto version on your computer.
Once you find it, and get it in the Dock, you should remove the older iPhoto version from your computer to prevent this from happening again.
Lastly, if the newer version of iPhoto is somehow gone off your computer, you should be able to get a copy off the latest OS X install disk or iLife using a free program called Pacifist.

i didnt have issues with itunes before...but pc asked to download new version. i did. when i click itunes i get my original music, but when i click store...i get nothing. i watched tutorial....but still cant open itunes store. im looking for music to buy.

I Was trying to update to the latest version; i uninstall to download new version because it wasn't letting me update. Now it wouldn't open at all because "The file"iTunes.Library.itl"cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes".:( How do i go back to last install or make this new version works?
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Had to delete iTunes for computer repair. Downloaded new version 10. Would not open -Message: "iTunes Library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes"Unless you've recently attempted to downgrade iTunes this is probably a sign of a corrupt library file. See Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash.

Can't load App Store on my macBook Pro. Error is; You cannont open the application "App Store" because it is not supported on this system. How can I upgrade App Store or download new version?
Problem now resolved as I upgraded to Snow Leopard 10.6. Seems App Store doesn't like anything previous to 10.6.
