I am working fine with iCloud on my iPhone and iPad. I tried to sign in to iCloud app on my PC and it asks for my Apple ID. I use the same Apple ID I'm using for my iTunes and Appstore purchase. It keeps telling me that there's a server error. Might have something to do with the fact that I live in Israel? What is it?

You must setup a new account on a Mac or an iDevice, then you can sign in from a PC. You cannot create a new iCloud account using Windows.

The problem is that all services are bundled with your Apple ID ([email protected]):
Your iCloud account (Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, Backups, etc.),
also iTunes & App Store purchases (Music, Movies, TV Shows, etc.),
and the iTunes Match services.
(I guess that all your devices - yours and your wife's are connected to one iTunes library, right?)
If you want that your wife gets her own iCloud account for Mail, Contacts, Calendars, etc. but gets also access to your media then you have two set up two things on her device:
iCloud (Settings > iCloud) with her account (e.g. [email protected])
and
iTunes & App Stores (Settings > iTunes & App Stores) with your account (e.g. [email protected]).
In this case she gets access to your library and could use the same iTunes Match account.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

MacBook Pro i5 with retina will not recognize WD Passport even though I successfully used it to transfer programs and files from my older MacBook ten days ago. It receives power from the USB, but when using Time Machine I receive the message that there is not an external device connected.

If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

Please check if Menu is pinned or not, if not then pin the menu on page and then it will not scroll with page.

Actually no. After installing an app on one device, I used to see an "install" button on the second device (since it's already been paid for). Now i get the full price button on the second device. I didn't want to proceed with the purchase because i didn't want to be billed twice.

The crazy thing is tht on my ProBook I still have them even though it uses the same Time Capsule, which to mind mind they are still there on the Time Capsule. Not necessarily. Each Mac using a particular Time Capsule has its own set of backups that are independent of those of any other Mac.
Has anybody else had this experience or has any suggestions how I can retrieve the info on my Mac?
Why are those backups so important to you? My advice is to move on and live without them.

I got this email but I had just created the account on skype for business. I don't understand what we did wrong. We can't buy any subscribtions or anything. It's the name of our company and we have done nothing wrong. How could we have done something against there terms of use or policy if we never even used skype account?

Screensaver engaging even though I am using the computer

This is a weird one.
My screensaver keeps launching even though:
A. System Preferences -> Screen Saver -> Start Screen Saver is set to NEVER
B. I am actively using my computer (trackpad and keyboard).
Any ideas? I upgraded the OS from Leopard to Snow Leopard several months ago and noticed the problem beginning then. At first it was very sporadic, but clearly while I was using the computer. Tonight it started activating and re-activating over and over again even though I am sitting here working!

You may have already checked this out - but check if you have any "Hot Corners" set for the screen saver. A friend of mine found that his son had messed with his computer and set the bottom left corner of his screen as a hot corner - and every time the cursor moved into that corner the screen saver opened up. It drove him crazy until tracked this down.

My screensaver keeps turning on even though I'm using the computer

My screensaver keeps turning on very quickly, even when I'm in the middle of using it. I can be typing a sentence in Word and it'll try to go to the screensaver. The screen will go black, but as soon as I type something it goes back to a regular screen. The preferences have the screensaver coming on after 15 minutes. I don't understand what's going on. The only thing I can think of is that I recently installed Air Display which is used to make my ipad an extra monitor, but turning the application off doesn't solve the problem. Also, there's nothing in the preferences for the application about screensavers.

Go to System Preferences / Desktop & Screen Saver.
Move the arrow further away from the "3 Minute" mark.

All content on my iphone 4 was erased with iOS 5 update even though I updated using the computer I sync with!

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5. All my ringtones, music, apps, movies, etc were removed from my iPhone. They are still available in iTunes but will not sync to my iPhone. I turned on iCloud. How do I get my data back to my phone without starting over from scratch?

What fixed it for me:
On your computer, open iTunes > My iPhone (or whatever name you gave your iPhone) > "Music" page
Uncheck "Sync Music"
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
Uncheck the box for every song, playlist, etc.
Click "Sync" button (bottom right) (This step may be unnecessary, but I did it and got the result I wanted.)
Let it run and finish
Check the boxes for the music you want on your iPhone
Click "Sync" button (bottom right)
Let it run and finish
See if that doesn't work for you. I tried a lot of things that did nothing, but this seems to have fixed it, and quickly.

I've tried everything... Turning it off and on, rebooting, opening the document on iCloud... It continues to tell me the document "can't be opened". Help!! This is a really important document

I'm not sure if this will help, but I had the same problem. My password was correct.... I was going crazy. One time I typed the password and automatically touched the space bar after the word before I hit " Done" and it worked. I'm not sure why a space is part of my password but that must have been how I set it like typing a sentence it's just automatic. Good luck!

Please provide the exact error that you are seeing. It seems this is due to Activation Lock. Did you purchase this device new, or was this a used device?
