I embedded some HTML code into adobe Muse but not displaying when the pages are Exporting to HTML

I embedded some HTML code into adobe Muse and when I published the remote site on business catalyst the (Add This widget) HTML code shows up but when I exported the site to HTML pages and view the index page in the browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox) the (Add this widget) HTML code wouldn't display on any of the pages. I've used this code before on other Muse sites not sure what could have happened. Thnx!!!

Will this effect my google analytics ? if so how can I make sure that the H1 tags are picked up early in the html by the google search spiders instead of way down the html? I opened the html and can see from the source code that the H1 tags are on the 130 line of code instead of nearer the top..is this a problem for being seen on google analytics? the site is www.mcgeehangolf.com

Again I have made another site recently www.bodicotevillagehall.co.uk IF you do a search in google for Bodicote village hall it doesn't show up until page 2 or if you search bodicote village hall hire it is 8th on the first page. Again I have added keywords and google analytics!

You don't say what version you are using, but LV6.1 added remote control
of panels.
If already using LV6.1, look it up in the help and try out the examples.

How does one import an html template into Adobe Muse?

I have downloaded several templates advertised as Muse templates but they all appear to be html5 templates. Can one import them into Adobe Muse?

You can't import an HTML template. You need the original .muse file. If they are Muse templates you would have gotten them as a .muse file.

ICan you create and link Templates in DWCS4 after all the pages are built as HTML?

I used Dreamweaver CS4 to create a website(about 50 pages). Only after completing it did it occur to me that I should have made the pages using Templates . There are certain areas (footer, navbar, header) that will need to be globally updated occationally, but since none of the pages were built off a .DWT am I out of luck? Is there any way to create templatized pages from my existing HTML and have them LINK so they will globally update? The thought of going through and doing each of these over individually is daunting!

That's called putting the cart way ahead of the horse. You would need to build a Template first, then spawn child pages from that Template. Since you're already up to your neck in this project, consider using server-side includes instead of Templates.

Adobe Muse will not allow opening of pages; will not allow preview site in browser

Please help fix this asap!

I am on a PC, just chnaged some images on the site and now cannot open anything, it says to contact the Adobe Muse CC team "Adobe Muse has encountered an error and will now exit".

I am trying to have some LabVIEW code called in a New thread exit when the testStand sequence terminates

I have a Sequence that launches a sequence in a New Thread that happens to launch some LabVIEW code. The problem is when the LabVIEW code finishes, it will not close even when the TestStand sequence terminates. Is there a way to tell this LabVIEW code to Exit, I've tried the Quit LabVIEW function, but that causes a C++ RunTime Error. The LabVIEW code does end though, and it is set in the VI properties to:
Checked - Show Front Panel When Called
Checked - Close Afterwardds if originally closed
The sequence call that the LabVIEW code is launched from has the following options:
- New Thread
Unchecked - Automatically wait for the thread to complete at the end of the current sequence
Unchecked - Initially Suspended
Unchecked - Use single threaded apartment
Any clues on this would be appreciated.

Everything should close correctly if you check the checkbox "Automatically wait for the thread to complete at the end of the current sequence" in the thread settings.
With it unchecked, I am seeing the behavior you are.

Regarding printing PDF documents...It depends on the PDF document that you are trying to print. In general, it will take longer to print more complex and larger PDF documents.
If you are willing to share your PDF document (that takes forever to print) with us at [email protected], we can test it with the same version (11.6.3) of Adobe Reader on different iOS versions (iOS 7.x vs. iOS 8.x). Actual printing is handled by iOS (not by Adobe Reader) via AirPrint over Wi-Fi connection. We've heard from other users about iOS 8 Wi-Fi connectivity problems.

Got a new computer, did the home sharing, downloaded all tunes into new laptop but not all of the songs can be played now

as said above..New laptop, downloaded Itunes. Home shared, downloaded all tunes into new Itunes butalthough they are there some are greyed out and will not play. How do i fix this ?

These are two possible approaches that will normally work to move an existing library to a new computer.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase and reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.
Note if you have failed to move contacts and calendar items across you should create one dummy entry of each in your new profile and iTunes should merge the existing data from the device.
If your media folder has been split out from the main iTunes folder you may need to do some preparatory work to make it easier to move. See make a split library portable.
Should you be in the unfortunate position where you are no longer able to access your original library or a backup then then see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device for advice on how to set up your devices with a new library with the maximum preservation of data.

Adobe Muse keep "Not responding"

I'm doing another website project, and after a while my adobe muse seems not responding when i clicked the preview button, or when I try to publish it to BC domain. My muse file is 379 MB. Is it because it's too big? Thank you for your help and time.

When I open a particular Muse file, it's just stuck. Muse stops responding. So i decided I wait till it starts working again.
After exactly 16mins, it opened, but any action I do, it's stuck again.
I thought it was because it had 30+ subpages But it works perfectly fine on my friend's mac (same configuration as mine).
It is really weird. And it was working fine a day ago.
Any help would be appreciated.

Has anyone successfully added a live chat feature into Adobe Muse?
We're in final design stages of creating new site and would like to use a live chat program (Olark, Live Person, etc) -- have received the html embed, attempted to add the html into a page unsuccessfully. We've added code in other pages.

Most of those services would have given you a guide on where to place the code. The code mostly would be embedded in the head section. To do that in Muse, right click anywhere on the board-select page properties-metadata-head. Then paste the code there. Publish your site and you would see the chat widget on your site.

How can I embed a self hosted video into Adobe Muse? I successfully use a Wordpress plugin to post self hosted videos to a Wordpress blog, however I would like to link the same video to a web site built in Muse. I understand that Muse looks for an embed code, however on self hosted video does anyone have any experiences on how that embed code can be obtained?

There's quite a lot of discussion on this forum about embedding videos.

Is it possible to import xml into Adobe Muse to populate content similar to InDesign?

The only way I see this would be possible is through using JS that you can insert using the Object -> Insert HTML option, you may grab the XML to HTML code from here - http://www.w3schools.com/xml/xml_to_html.asp
In order to test this out, simply download the sample XML file from the following location - http://www.w3schools.com/xml/cd_catalog.xml and save it somewhere locally. Now add this file to your Muse project using File -> Add Files for Upload option, it would then appear within the Assets panel.
Add the code to your page and update the path referencing the file cd_catalog.xml to assets/cd_catalog.xml. Now on previewing the page in browser, you should see the populated HTML from the XML.

As per the instructions on link below you need to insert the code in <Head> section of the page.
Conversion Tracking and Optimization | Facebook Help Center | Facebook
Once you receive the code from Facebook you can insert it in Muse site.
Open the page in Design mode and go to Page > Page Properties > Metadata > Html for <head>
Paste the code in the space mentioned in the screenshot and you should be all set
