I feel lost with this phone! :(
I got the bb 8330 about a week ago and think i've done pretty well but im still lost in the following areas:
how to add a contact to bb messenger?
how to download music from my computer (i downloaded the bb disc and have usb cord) to my bb?
how to send a picture in a sms instead of email (no sms option when i click on the pic, only email)
Can someone pretty please help me?

For the BB Mess
There are two methods of adding contacts in BlackBerry Messenger. One is via PIN and the other is via email. A PIN is an eight digit alpha-numeric code that is assigned to every BlackBerry device. You can find your own PIN code by going to Options>Status>PIN on your BlackBerry device. If you are requesting a contact by email, you simply need an email address associated with their device.
Method 1—Requesting by PIN
First, you will have to open up BlackBerry Messenger and click the track wheel or trackball depending on the device you have. In the drop down menu, select ‘Add a contact.’ You will be brought to your address book. At the top of the list there will be an option that says ‘[Use Once]’. Select this option and a menu will appear. Click ‘Request by PIN.’ On the next screen you can enter the PIN code of your contact and press enter. You will be prompted to enter a personal message if you choose and press ok. At this point the contact will be added to the pending group in BlackBerry Messenger until the contact accepts you.
Method 2—Requesting by Email
Requesting a contact by email is the almost same process as requesting by PIN. The only difference is instead of clicking ‘Request by PIN’ you click ‘Request by Email.’
Method 3—Adding a contact already in your address book
If you remember back in method one when you were brought to your address book, we selected ‘[Use Once].’ This is unnecessary if the contact is already in your address book. If the contact is in your address book and has a PIN or Email address associated with it, you can simply click their name. Again, you will be given the option of adding a personal message.
Can I create groups to organize my contacts?
Yes, BlackBerry Messenger will allow you to create groups of contacts. For example, perhaps you would like to have a group for family members and a group for work contacts. With BlackBerry Messenger open, click the trackball and select ‘Add Group.’ Here you can enter the name for your new group. Now that you have created your groups, you need to organize your contacts. Highlight a contact’s name in BlackBerry Messenger and click the trackball; select move. A menu will allow you to select the group where the contact should go. Select the group and press enter. The contact will now be listed under that group.

How many calls/texts do you miss with this phone?
Before I start: my phone is being replaced because the WiFi connection is completely broken, but I want to make sure this problem is not recurring when I get my new phone (the whole 14 day return thing, etc).
My phone intermittently does not come out of sleep when getting a call or text. I have rebooted, hard reset, erased, and restored the phone. My email is turned to manual. The switch is set to ring and volume turned up all the way.
When I say it doesn't come out, it doesn't light up, vibrate, or make a noise until I click on it to bring it out of sleep. Then it tells me I have a missed call, voicemail, and text.
I can't keep this phone if I miss every single call and text, it defeats the purpose of having it. I only have one phone, so getting calls can be pretty important.
I have perfectly fine network coverage. It's not always full bar, but it is ALWAYS enough to text, email, or call.
If the phone is already unlocked, like if I am looking at my calendar, then the call/text/etc will come through audible with vibrate in addition.
In addition, the phone is sooooo quiet. I can't feel it vibrate in my holster because the text message vibration lasts like a tenth of a second, and it's really not loud at all.
Potentially, I have three defects with this phone: WiFi broken, bad speaker/low sound, won't come out of unlock. Is it really THAT likely to have all three defects in ONE brand new phone? I hope these incidents don't repeat when I get my new phone.
Any thoughts are appreciated.This is happening to me too! It is not the that the ringer's not loud enough. Calls don't ring through while it's asleep. I had someone stand right next to me and call me and... nothing. But once I wake it up & unlock it, it's fine and calls will ring through. What is the problem? I can't keep it unlocked all the time, the battery will burn down in no time. Can anyone help? Should I be returning it? Is it a hardware or software problem?

I am a man who needs his phone to be dependable and to work! I need it to spell accurately, I have tried other smartphones the Samsung galaxy 2 and borrowed my daughters I phone 5...the Z10 touchscreen keyboard is a zillion times better!I The phone is amazing, the web is fast and while I am still getting used to some of the different ways of doing things on this phone...so far...I am in love with the Z10!!! However, with regards to #2 and permissions, be aware that just because an app asks for permissions to contacts that it doesn't necessarily want to read your contacts. It likely just wants to be able to give you the option to share something with a contact via email, text message, or the like. Many times we wonder why an app asks for permissions to something that seems totally unrelated to the app but only needs it programmatically to work. You can deny permissions but many times the app won't function properly.
My opinion: If you are installing an app you don't trust with the permissions it asks for I wouldn't install the app at all.

How do i get my sim to work with this phone?
I just bought a used iphone, when i put my sim card in, it says it is lock. I have done this before and been able to use instantly, but this time it wont come on. HOw do i get my sim to work with this phone?
If your iPhone was unlocked and has relocked after an update to iOS, then the iPhone was hacked to unlock it and has now been locked back to the original carrier. You'll need to contact the carrier to whom the iPhone is locked and request unlocking. They may refuse to do so since you're not the person with whom they had the contract.

I get a error message "To charge faster, use the cable and device that were provided with this phone" when charging my Samsung Galaxy note 3. I took it to a store last week and they said it has something to do with the last software update. They tried charging it at the store and got the same message. I was given another phone, I still get the same error with the new phone.

^^ These are all the issues that I deal with this phone!! I HAVE HAD FOUR OF THE SAME PHONES. RIDICULOUS. They all suck the same!! I want to go back to iphone ASAP. But between the early termination fee and full retail price it is NOT WORTH IT. I am about to just terminate my service altogether. I am sick of being stuck and stressed out over a mobile device!Ambersikes17, we don't want you to cancel your service. Let's get your phone working properly. Are you using the original charger that came with the phone? If so, does it the phone respond to the charger if it is positioned in a different manner?

Every time I try charging my Note 3 I get an error message: To charge faster, use the cable and device that were provided with this phone. What is the solution? The cable is fine and is the original charger!

I have had nothing but problems with this phone since I bought it last August. It is slow. Heats up. The screen locks up. It doesn't let me answer some calls. It powers itself down at random... The list goes on.... and on. There is still another 8 months until my 2 year upgrade but I don't think I can last with this thing. With the ammount I am paying per month for this phone, I atleast want it to be functional. Is there any way Verizon can give me an early upgrade? What can I do to get rid on this thing?! Since you bought the phone last August, you MAY be eligible for an annual upgrade on this line. It would be dependent on your calling plan, though. Not all are eligible, such as secondary lines on a Family Plan and Individual Plans below a certain threshold. I am unsure of the threshold. This will be the last time you will be eligible for an annual upgrade, though, since Verizon has done away with annual upgrades for contracts signed after Feb, 2011.
Make sure that you check either on or after you have passed the anniversary of the purchase of your current phone. With annual upgrades, Verizon will not normally let you know when you will be eligible if you have not already become eligible. This is because the upgrade is dependent on your calling plan. I am sure that there are people that have gotten confirmation of their annual upgrade date, changed their plan to become ineligible, and then yelled and screamed when Verizon wouldn't let them upgrade on the date they were given. -
I've tried everything I can think of to get my Iphone 4S to play albums like an Ipod does. All it ever does is play the songs but not the albums in alphabetical order. I used to think I was reasonably intelligent until I butted heads with this phone.
Yes i've tried all of that. I've turned it all the way on and off and erased all of my music and put it back on and nothing works. And with the breaking up CDs and putting into compilation categories i have already fixed all of that stuff. It's fine it just doesn't show up in the list of artists. I can find the album in the songs category and the albums category it's just it doesn't show tha name of the artist. All of the other albums that i downloaded before i updated my itunes to th most recent update are fine. It's just the two that i downloaded afterwards. Thanks for trying though.

After restoring iPhone 4, iTunes is telling me that my SIM card is not supported. It is the same SIM I have always used with this phone. What action can I take to convince phone that the SIM card is OK?
Hello again, update time.
Finally got to speak to a senior technical advisor at Apple today who was most confused until he back-tracked and double checked all the basics. He then realised that the actual serial number of my original phone (from the proof of purchase I sent him) was different to the one that they had recorded when they made the swap. I think he said it was out by one character and was actually showing as a mobile connected to AT&T (from the States). He said that the replacement phone was then set-up as per the serial number they had typoed into their system as locked to AT&T. The genius who did the swap at Apple Doncaster must have placed an unlock on it at the time in order for my 3 SIM to work at all. Therefore when I restored it, it returned to the settings of the incorrect original phone serial number!
So... Apple tech advisor said he can rectify the records and re-set the factory setting to an Australian iPhone on the 3 network within 12-24 hours. Fingers crossed all is good by tomorrow afternoon.
Thanks for your suggestions though, I had been trying everything to get it to work as I'm sure you know how hard they are to live without once you've got used to living with one!

Was anyone ever happy with this phone at any point?
I am just curious if there is anyone out there who was remotely happy with this phone even for five minutes. Mine randomly restared from day one out of the box. Verizon was no help. (Getting another of the same phone fixes NOTHING.)
I think I liked it the first week. It took me about 3 weeks to realize I wasn't getting all of my text messages. That actually caused a fight between my best friend & I. At first the random re-starts were only occasional but unfortunately, not they happen almost daily. My biggest pet peeves are the fact that this SMART phone can't do what "dumb" phones can do - make phone calls & send/receive text messages. You would think the most basic parts of the phone would be good, wouldn't you? I'm so ready for a new phone but I'm doing a ton of research before I buy a new one.

I have just upgraded to an iphone 4s and whenever I receive a message ,notification or the alarm goes off the camera flash goes of as well. Does anyone know how to disable this. No one else I know with this phone has this happen

What do I do with this phone...
My contract is up in late November and I really hate this phone. I constructed a list of pros/cons.
I can hand write a message and put it on a horse and it will get delivered faster than it takes this phone to start to send a message
The touchscreen sometimes doesn't want to work or it stops working out of nowhere (usually in the middle of a text message).
The phone locks up all the time and sometimes doesn't allow me to open the phone or messaging apps.
It restarts itself while I'm doing something, but it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm doing something because it also does this while it sits on my table charging and doing nothing more.
It is unreliable in an emergency situation due to the way it constantly freezes and always locks up from the simplest tasks
I am told that I have to keep the phone 1cm away from my body at all times? What is up with that?
The phone overheats all the time from literally doing NOTHING but sitting in my pocket.
The battery lasts 5 hours (on a good day) from very basic use (text messaging, calling)
Text messages don't always send and I don't always receive them.
It takes hours for the phone to charge from 10% to 20%
It's veeeeeeeeeery slow ALL THE TIME.
The front LED buttons (home, back, search) don't light up very bright anymore.
Whoever programmed the messaging app needs to be fired because it loads every single text message and multimedia message ever sent to you by that person every time you open a text message.
Burns my leg after being left in my pocket for 20 minutes.
Two 5-minute youtube videos drains my battery by usually 70%.
Resetting the phone would literally do nothing, it still won't send/receive a few text messages
I can't end a call, I've sat there for a good 10 seconds pressing the 'end' button hoping it would actually end the call.
I have thought about going to a therapist for this phone.
It takes 7 minutes for this phone to turn fully off and back on again. I've performed the test multiple times.
While charging, the phone gets way too hot.
I purposely tell my friends not to buy LG products due to this phone. When they buy a new LG product, I tell them to return it as soon as they possibly can.
This phone sometimes doesn't register a call and starts to do some sort of a weird glitching thing where it tries to determine whether the call has enough time left to ask me if I want to answer it or if the phone should just ignore it overall and never tell me about it.
I read somewhere that this phone is a broken, defective, unfixable hunk of ****.
The 'pros' of this phone:
It's an excellent hand warmer in the winter. Just hold the phone in between your hands and it feels like a nice hand warmer. Careful though, it might burn you.
I can throw it at a wall a million times and it doesn't break! It's a great way to release my anger and I feel like LG knew that people would want to smash it against the wall simply because of how horrible the phone really is.

When my contract is up, I'm going to have a party. I'll hang this phone from a tree and hit it like a pinata and brutally
beat it with every ounce in my body. I will burn it, beat it, and beat it some more. As the grand finale I will
