I feel stupid asking this but here goes...

I upgraded to the new Numbers and when you save your spreadsheet and say your cursor is on row 500 column 10 and next time you open that spreadsheet how do you get back to that position without scrolling or paging down a million times? In an Excel spreadsheet it remembers the last spot you were in, does Numbers have a way to remember the last spot?
In the previous version of Numbers I could just tap the down arrow and it would jump to the saved spot, but that doesn't work in the new version, it just stays at the top of the spreadsheet.

I do not see a way (natively) to deal with this. You can post a comment to Apple using the menu item "Number > Provide Number Feedback"
As a follow on (work around) you could add a small table that you leave near the area of interest, then you can select that table to "jump" to that spot using the sheet menu:
In this example "Table 2" was my marker table

You will find information about all of the keys here Apple Human Interface Guidelines: The Keyboard.
The Option/alt key is located between the Command⌘ and Control keys.
To type a # character, press the Shift + 3 keys. If it's a European keyboard, press the Option + 3 keys.
I'm not sure about the wrong password behavior. If you enter the correct password, does it login OK?

I Feel Stupid Asking This... (Network Question)

Hey guys,
I have a Airport Base Station that provides my house with internet access and I love the thing! It is located in my office.
However, I have a security system that I can get online remotely that I wish to put online but I don't want to run a wire from my wall to the ABS in my office.
I DO have a Airport Express Base Station that is laying around. I know that the port on the Express is for an incoming internet signal. Is there anyway to plug my security system into the Express and have it transmit the signal to my ABS for use on the net?

Thanks for clarifying which version of AX you have. With the earlier 802.11b/g version, the only option to enable its Ethernet port is to reconfigure both AirPorts into a static Wireless Distribution Systems WDS, with this AX configured as the remote base station in this WDS.
Although this will enable the AX's Ethernet port and provide your security device with network/Internet access, a WDS comes with a severe bandwidth penalty for your wireless network. Instead, you may want to consider either getting a update 802.11n version of the AX or another manufacturer's Wireless Ethernet bridge product.

Late Late Late the other night I was kinda removing stuff on my Macbook and seemingly removed some Silverlight stuff accedentally and now I can not use Netflix and they dob't know enough (not do I) about Apple or OS X. I also seem to have rejected downloading a Silverlight update while at Betflix as well. Now let me make it understood how little I approve of ANYTHING Microsoft being on my Mac in the first place but lets not forget that Apple and Microsoft came to some agreement on Silverlight. I S-T-I-L-L don't like it on mt Mac. That said, I have no choice but to uninstall and reinstall Silverlight BUT, right from scratch (which I suspect is from the 4.0 version.) If anyone has any experience in such a scenario with these apps or can direct me to someone who my I would really appreciate it.

Naive question but here goes.
As a family we have one Apple ID. All devices are synced via my PC and backed up to it rather than to iCloud.
Books purchased via Kindle App appear on all the devices within the "cloud" option. How do I separate each reader's prefernce to their own device? I want to make sure that the younger one's dont have access to anything unsuitable.

You can have one AppleID for your purchases so that all teh devices can use all the apps without having to buy them again, and at the same time, have different iCloud accounts for each user so that their content is not intermingled with everyone else's. You can even go so far as to have your iCloud Account enabled for "Find my iPhone" for each of the other devices allowing you to keep track of where tehy are when they get misplaced.
If you need/want, you can share iCloud Calendars between different iCloud accounts as well. This is exactly what my wife & I have done. We share calendars so I know when she has classes or dog competitions, and she can see my work schedule so she knows what nights I have to be in late, etc.

Alright im not quite sure how this happend but here it goes. I am trying to sync all the content from my ipad to and new computer. But i get a message that my ipad is authrorized on another computer. But the problem is that my old computer is broken. I also think that the old computer was authorized with my ipad from my old apple id which i do not know the username or password. So how will i be able to authorize my ipad on my new computer?

Wow my luck. Unfortunally my backup file is corrupt :/. i was thinking is it possible to put my music on my computer via copytrans or other software then transfer my purchases on my ipad like apps. Then restore my ipad so that the other authorization is gone then transfer my music to itunes then register my ipad to my new computer then sync? I could also put my music on disc or something else instead of a transfer software if that would work.

Feel Very Stupid Asking This....But I Need An Answer

So, I've had my HP m6 for a good while (years) and just the other day, I was attempting to play a game on it...only for it to crash upon start up. After researching the issue, many people suggested updating the graphic drivers....and so I went on to research how to go about doing that.
I found my chip, it's an Intel...so I went to the Intel site, found my chip, and found a whole bunch of new(er) driver updates ready to be downloaded. I figured this would be easy...but it seems I can't download their updates...because HP has a lock on being able to do that. The other option was to come here and download the updates directly from the HP site...but this is where my main issue comes from. The last update that HP released for my chip and driver was back in 2012...while Intel has updates for my chip from May of 2014.
I really don't understand why this is...the way it is. But if someone could help me out...just give me a flat answer as to whether or not I have to buy a new computer just to play a game, or if there's some work around to where I can get the update I need in order to play...for free?

I feel stupid for asking this, but-

I've made a very simple workflow with Automator that opens up multiple documents (in this case, VectorWorks CAD files) and prints them as PDFs. The problem, if it can be called that, is that I end up having to press the return key three times for each document: Once to confirm that I want to print it, once to confirm the PDF's name and location, and once to save the CAD file before it's closed. The default settings for each prompt are always correct.
I can't work out how to tell Automator to press return for me. Is the answer likely to be staring me in the face, or do I need to import either an action or an AppleScript from elsewhere? I know nothing about AppleScripts; if I needed to write something like this, assuming it's possible, would it be easy?
Thanks in advance to anyone who'll shed some light on this for me. It would be nice to be able to do something else instead of being a yes-man for Automator.

Know need to apologize as you won't find that capability in Automator yet. You have already guessed the work around which is to use AppleScript.
I am not sure whether VectorWorks CAD has an AppleScript dictionary but even if it doesn't it should be possible. If you prefer an Automator workflow then a "Run AppleScript" action could be created such as below.
As I don't have access to VectorWorks CAD I am guessing on the name of the application and whether a delay of 2 seconds between each sending of return is enough on your machine. You need to copy this text to a "Run AppleScript" action in Automator. Note that you must replace all of the text and not just that labelled (* Your script goes here *).

I'm trying to write a class to extend PrintStream, but no matter what I do my constructor is flagged with the error:

Feel bad for asking this but

I'm new to this forum and only just bought an 80GB iPod classic. Anyway, I don't actually like the menu displays. I never put cover art on my iPod and it also annoys me when you see a track and instead of the cover art it comes up with a grey box and question mark. Is there any way or any software you can use to either get rid of these, or change the display settings for it to be like the menus of a 5th generation iPod?

There is not way to change it short of hacking the iPod, and I don't know of any that are currently available. You could find someone with a late 5th Gen iPod and trade with them.
Why not put the cover are on it and go with the flow..so to speak.

This may be more of an OS issue than a Curve issue but here goes. How do you remove the installed apps list on my 8530's AppWorld?

I have never purchased any apps yet but I have tried quite a few and now I'm stuck with this list of more than 20 apps listed in the Uninstalled section of my 8530's Blackberry App World.
As they are ALL free apps that I tried and DON'T installed on my phone for one reason or another, I would like to remove any existence of these apps from my phone and/or my App World Account.
Any suggestions would be welcome.

What you ask cannot be done. The AppWorld servers forever remember every app you download to your BB, free or not. Consider the alternative...if those were paid apps and RIM did not retain the purchase record, then when you want the app back later, you'd have to pay again...not a good situation I'd think.
And, before you say it...I agree...I think that they should be able to differentiate between free and fee-based apps. But, they don't. That's just the way it works.
