I get duplicate photos when I sync my iPhone 6
When I plug my iPhone 6 into my iMac, duplicates of each photo on my camera roll appear in iPhoto.
I have Photo turned off in iCloud.
Any ideas?

I'd like you to please check a setting on your iPhone that might be causing this issue where you see duplicates of each photo. The setting is for HDR photos, and if you keep the normal version as well.
Settings for Photos are in Settings > Photos & Camera. These include:
iCloud Photo Library beta, My Photo Stream, iCloud Photo Sharing, and Upload Burst Photos
Photos Tab
Slideshow
Camera Grid
HDR (High Dynamic Range)
Photos settings - iPhone

I keep getting duplicate photos when downloading from my card reader.
In my PSE11 Camera and Card Reader preferences I have checked "Copy new files only". Yet whenever I download a camera card that still contains photos that were previously downloaded, I end up with duplicate photos in PSE11.
I prefer to leave my photos on the camera card as a "backup" in case of a hard drive crash or other loss of data on the computer. Once the card is full I archive it.
Why do I get duplicates even though this setting makes it clear that I should not? It is very annoying having to look through my photo collection and manually delete dozens or hundreds of duplicate photos.

Apple's policy states, "all sales are final" > TUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE -TERMS AND CONDITIONS but if you explain the error and you haven't received areply from the developer, it can't hurt to request a refund.
You're sure there's enough free space on the startup disk?

Why am I getting an error when I sync my iPhone 5S?
The error message "The iPhone "iPhone name" cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-54)." came up when I have been syncing my new iPhone 5S.
This didn't start happening until last night, when I restored my iPhone from an old back-up I had from my iPhone 4 that I recently transisioned away from. Was this a mistake? Do I have to restore it to factory settings to get this error to go away? What do I need to do?
Also, something to note is that when I looked this error message up, I came up with some solutions for an iPod getting this same error message, but nothing with an iPhone. The solutions had something to do with a locked file blocking the process. How do I know if a file is blocked?
I have an mp3 on my iPhone that won't go away with deselecting "Sync Music," But every other music file was able to come off with clicking that button. Is that the problem? The only way I can think of getting this file off is to do a factory reset to my iPhone. I'd prefer not to do that because I lost some phone numbers in the process of restoring it this last time. Apparently my back-up was from 2013, when I could've sworn I backed it up right before I got my new iPhone.

Why do I see two copies of every photo when I sync my iPhone or iPad with iPhoto?
Whenever i plug in my iPhone to sync, iPhoto automatically opens.
There are always two copies of every photo I have taken since my last sync. I have to throw one out before syncing.

If you do receive a message that your Creative Suite 6 is in trial mode then choose the License this Software option and enter your Adobe ID and serial number.

Every time I sync my iPhone with iPhoto I end up getting duplicate photos on my iPhone. The other problem is that I can not delete the dups on my iPhone. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
Mike whether I create a folder within the Pictures Folder that iTunes uses to sync photographs or just copy them into the main folder the result is the same, I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
The User Manual for iOS5 states ...
You can create, rename, and delete albums on iPhone to help you organize your photos and videos.
Create a album: When viewing albums, tap Edit, then tap Add. Select photos to add to the new album, then tap Done. Note: Albums created on iPhone aren’t synced back to your computer.
Rename an album Tap Edit, then select an album.
Rearrange albums Tap Edit, then drag up or down.
Delete an album Tap Edit, then tap the delete sign.
Yes I can Add a new Album, but cannot delete an album already created. The delete sign does not appear.
In iTunes the only folder that I can see listed is the man one into which iTunes stores pictures, which I have named iPhone Photos.
When I look on my PC this iPhone Photos folder contains another folder named iPod Photo Cache and a multitude of folders created by iTunes, the named F00, F01,F02 etc etc. and a Photo Database file.
Now whether I create a seperate folder within iPhone Photos to store my favourite photos in, or just copy them all into the iPhone Photos folder without being encased within another folder, or create a folder inside the iPod Photo Cache folder the result is the same ...
I end up with Photo Library plus another album containing an identical set of pictures as contained in Photo Library.
I am going around in ever decreasing circles here and getting nowhere fast!! -
Why do I get duplicate pictures when I download from my iPhone to iphoto
Ever since I upgraded my iMac to Yosemite, when I sync my iPhone with my iMac and iPhoto. I get duplicate pictures in my iPhoto. I have to go in and manually delete the duplicates. Does anyone know why? Is there a setting that I can adjust so that I don't get the duplicates?

When recently syncing my iPhone a message came up regarding transferring purchases or something.. In haste I pressed the wrong reply.. My phone synced, but removed all of the songs I purchased on my iPhone. Although they are still on my iTunes and I can play them.. but they will not sync back to the iPhone what so ever.. I'm stressed out big time and can't believe I was such an idiot lol!! Had a look at a few forums.. But they seem to be about transffering from Iphone to Itunes...
Please Help xxxAt the AT&T store. Tried using iCloud but only 120 songs were transferred and when I access my iTunes account now it only shows 120 and not the 450 anymore that I purchased on my old phone. Tried to sync again from the phone to iTunes and it still not working.
I purchased everything under the same apple ID account I called apple support and spent almost 2 hours with tech support for assistance and we got disconected and they never called me back.

I get an error message when I sync my iPhone 5 with iTunes on my Windows 7 Samsung laptop. I recently backed up all of my data using Samsung Recovery Solution 5 to an external hard drive so that I could restore my laptop. I put all of my data back on the restored laptop and reinstalled iTunes. After the error message that says that certain items could not be found and the "sync" is finished I go back to my music in iTunes and there are exclamation marks next to many songs. I follow some instructions regarding the Edit - Preferences - Advanced settings and the exclamation marks go away until I try to sync my phone again. Then I get the same error message and the exclamation marks return. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes and the same thing happens again. I am about to schedule an appointment with the Genius Bar but would like to avoid that if possible. Thank you in advance for any help.

I have imported a new CD into my iTunes library on my PC. When I sync my iPhone with iTunes (on my pc), I don't get the new songs (or new CD). I have them on my PC but not on my iPhone. This just started to act this way. It was working in January 2013.

I had music on my i tunes that I deleted. When I sync my iphone the music that was deleted shows up. How do I get rid of the music I do not want on my iphone?
Connect your I-phone to i-tunes , click on music . Not the one in the library but the music that opened up when you connected to i-tunes . Highlight the complete album or songs you want deleted, then right click and delete. Once you deleted the songs off you i-phone, then click the music from the library of your i-tunes. If that same music or album is also in there then repeat what you did in the i-phone to delete . This should take it all out.

I want to delete a few contacts, apps, pics etc from my iphone, but when I delete and connect to my laptop they sync and come back again. How can I delete those items and not get them back when I connect my iphone to my laptop?

you'll see a pop-up and there's a tab called 'Devices' there. If you click that, you will be able to check a box that says 'prevent automatic syncing for iPods, iPads and iPhones' or something like that.

NB: if you don't even see the menu bar that has options like 'File, Edit, View, etc', first click the black/white square button on the top left of your screen, and then click 'show menu bar'. It should pop right up.

Some photo folders in my Windows Photo Gallery are listed in iTunes when I sync my iPhone 3GS but the folders are empty. The same photo folders in Windows Photo Gallery are full of photos. How do I fix this?
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.
