I get no sound from my guitar when using iRig with my iPod 5th gen (iOS 7)

I've just bought my iRig and it doesn't work with my iPod 5. I get no sound out of my guitar.
Headphones are working and when iRig is connected I can hear the samples and every other sound coming out of the iPod, but I get nothing from my guitar.
I tried shutting the iPod down, turning Mono on/off, but it still doesn't work with any of my apps (Amplitube, Garage Band and AmpKit).
Then I tried it with my brother's iPod 4 and it worked perfectly, which makes me think that there's something wrong with my iPod settings (I got the iOS 7)....
Does anyone know something I could try?
Thanks!

Contact the developer/go to their support site . Maybe it is not compatible with the 5G iPod. Also, it may not be compatible with iOS 7. Did it work on the 5G before iOS 7?

    *aslo try this;
after plugged in, rotate your headphone jack slowly..
**this could happen coz of a app youve installed. So remove apps like headphone demon and apps newly installed.

Please help me out as this is very irritating. This has been happening for the last 20-30 minutes. It had roughly half battery left.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I am having trouble with my iPod 5th gen after iOS update. It's in recovery mode and iTunes keeps timing out when I try to restore it. What should I do??? If possible, I would also like to keep all of my data.

    Maybe this will help:
    Troubleshooting
As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds. This is a common fix should your iPod behave unexpectedly or lock up. Once reset, the iPod should display an Apple logo for a few seconds before showing the main menu. This procedure is similar to rebooting a computer and damages none of your music or data.

  • No sound from optical output when using hdmi/dvi cable

I am trying to connect my apple tv2 to my B&O Beovision 7. I have used an HDMI to DVI cable which is working fine for the picture; but obviously DVI does not carry sound. I have therefore connected an optical cable to the digital optical output on the apple TV and put this through a converter to digital coax, which then goes in to the TV. I know the optical cable / converter set up works fine as I have tested it on my sky box and it works fine. But I get no sound from the apple TV - any ideas?

I hav exactly the same problem... Did you resolve this??

Why am i getting error 9006 when trying to restore my ipod 5th generation?

    Configure your security software
Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
    Common errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.

  • No sound from Vision box when using HDMI

I have my Vision box coupled to my Yamaha AV amp by HDMI cable. When switching the Yamaha inputs to the Vision box I get no sound . If I switch the box off and back on again then all is OK.
Does anyone have any ideas. I have  a Humax freesat bos also connected that way but that works OK as above when switched to it

I have a similar problem, but not with my Vision box.
I have four HDMI inputs going into my AV receiver: Vision; DVD; Apple TV and; Freesat HD. I can switch between them all quite happily with the exception of the Freesat. If I switch to Freesat then I will always get a blue screen until I turn the Freesat off and on.
It's a little annoying but you learn to live with it.

  • No sound from the TV when using HDMI cable, No sound from the TV when using HDMI cable

I recently purchased HDMI cable and adaptor, so that I can play downloads from my Macbook Air on my TV. There is only sound from the Macbook, not the TV - Do I need as separate cable for sound?

I've got the same issue: when I connect my Macbook Air (2011) to TV via HDMI cable there's no sound through the TV system, only from the Macbook Air. I used to use my older Macbook Pro with the same HDMI adapter and it worked just fine, but not with the Macbook Air it doesn't.
My software is up to date. I tried to select the TV as an output option in sound preferences, but it doesn't yield any results.
Rebooding multiple times doesn't help either.
Any suggestions on how to tackle this problem?
    Thanks in advance.

  • HT201302 Can I tranfer photos from a different computer onto another via an Ipod 5th gen?

I had saved all of my family photos onto my ipod nano 5th gen. Due to sperstorm sandy I lost my desktop and all of the photos. My ipod is not trasfering the photos from the old computer. Is there really no way to do this? "You can import only photo and video content taken with the built-in camera or captured on the device. You cannot import photo or video content synced from iTunes." - This deeply troubles me. I am able to transfer the videos captured by the Ipod but not my old photos.

For synced photos you need a third-party program like TouchCopy or PhoneView.

    Hi,
sadly not able to really help you, but It seems that I'm having the same problem.
I'm running an up to date arch install (with testing enabled) and for some strange reason one of the dhcp servers I use does not ever return any packets at all to me.
Openwrt on my home network works like a charm, but here in the office I do not get an ip (or any reply at all sadly) from our dhcp server. I don't know what server we're running though ...
    kind regards

  • Can alerts sound from main speaker when using earbuds?

I have headphones connected all day although they're not  always in my ear. (Either connected & Bluetooth)  If I receive a call, the ringtone sounds through the  external speaker AND headphones. (This is good).  Alert tones (email, calendar) sound ONLY  through the headphones; so, if they are not in my ear, I may not hear  it. (This is bad).
I can't find a setting to change this.  This would be easy for Apple to allow and makes sense to me.  Any time I don't want sounds, I would toggle the mute switch - which is easer than changing a setting anyway.
Is there an App Store app that will allow this?

Nope.Try to REMOVE the headphones when you are not using them. This,Sir,is the only solution.

  • How to get higher cpu voltage during load when using "auto" with P67A-GD55?

I have a little question regarding cpu voltage: When i set vcore to "auto" i get a nice low voltage when idle but during load i only get 1.264 max and that is to low.
Is there a setting to increase the voltage during load and still have the cpu vcore set to auto?
    Thanks
    System:
    P67A-GD55 with 1.8 bios
    I7 2600k
    8gb Corsair

OK, so you are able to set your CPU voltage manually. You need to consider that the auto voltages will compensate only up to a certain OC level, after which the user usually has to do manual adjustments. This auto compensation differs for each hardware combination. As HU16E suggested, try low VDroop and see if it helps. The other alternative is a BIOS flash, or manual voltage settings.
I tried low vdroop but it didn´t make any difference. But it´s ok, i can set the vcore manually but i was just investigating if i could get the best of both worlds with the powersavings auto vcore offers during idle

  • HT4352 I cannot get any sound on my iPad when home sharing, yet do have sound when playing iTunes that I have loaded, please help?

I cannot get any sound on my iPad when using the remote app for home sharing, yet do have sound when I play iTunes that I have loaded on my iPad, please help?

You were on the right track. You got the connect to iTunes screen and you ended to use iTujes to restore your iPad. Try recovery mode again.
    Recovery Mode Instructions
Disconnect the USB cable from the iPad, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
Turn off iPad: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for iPad to turn off.
If you cannot turn off iPad using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the iPad turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to iPad. When you reconnect the USB cable, iPad should power on.
Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the recovery mode alert that iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode.
    Use iTunes to restore iPad.
