I get the blue screen whenever I try to install the bootcamp drivers in windows 7

I just recently installed windows 7 home on my 2011 imac useing bootcamp.
Everything seemed to install fine however whenever I try to run the bootcamp drivers in windows to get my mouse and wifi and all that to work I get a blue screened.
Any Ideas?
Ive followed the exact instructions from the manual for OSX and nothing seems to work.

Question: Does the Windows disk that you are using have SP2 (Service Pack 2)? In other words, is your version of Windows a FULL version (and not an upgrade version) of XPSP2 Home Edition?
Having SP2 is a requirement to have XP installed on an intel Mac.
If you already have the right version then I am not sure what exactly the issue may be.

Reset the Device:
Hold the power button and the home button down until the device shuts off, then power it back on and see if the problem is resolved.
That won't remove any data. I hope that works.

I got my Macbook about a year ago and i need to bootcamp to windows 7. I watched some youtube videos and they mention that i should have gotten a cd with the bootcamp drivers. However, my macbook did not come with any CD. Where do i get the bootcamp drivers now? Thanks!

Were you running Lion on your computer when you installed XP and it worked? How new is your iMac?
It appears you updated the OS. This is a major change from what you had previously. So the fact that it ran previously is somewhat irrelevant.

Blue screen whenever I try to play games - please help

Hi,
My computer runs perfectly when I do tasks such as using the net, typing letters etc, but as soon as I run a game it stops working....
I start the game up, it runs through the intro movies, and then it shows a blank blue screen with the sound "repeating"in the background - the only way of getting out of this is to turn off & restart my computer from the switch. It does this with all of my games, so I know it's not a issue with a particular game. It seems to do this when it would normally engage the 3D effects part of the processor.
Since this problem has started I have re-built the machine (formatted), installed a fresh copy of windows, downloaded the latest drivers and yet it still will not play games. I have also rolled back to previous versions of the drivers in case it was an issue with the new version of the drivers, and still no change.
I do suspect that it is a driver problem though, because once the computer has restarted after the error and windows says it has recovered from a serious error, the error report says that a driver caused the problem (it doesn't say which driver, and it isn't much more helpful than that). Sometimes the blue screen says something about "driver edirol not equal" or something like that, but usually it is blank.
If anybody can help me solve this I'll be extremely grateful, because I am completely out of ideas.
My system details are below:
Motherboard - MSI 845E MAX
Graphics card - Saphire Radeon 9800 Pro
Processor - Intel Pentium 4 2.4
Sound - Soundblaster Audigy platinum, and Delta 44
Running - Windows XP professional
I have tried to run the following games - C&C Generals, Black and White, Spellforce, Planetside and Soldior of Fortune 2.

How do I get the latest drivers for windows 7 boot camp install?

I have a 24" mac early 2009. I had windows xp installed on a partition using an early edition of boot camp. I had to reformat my mac and so I purchased windows 7 home premium oem edition. When I try to install and copy boot camp drives to a 32 gb usb drive I get a message that Apple does not have drivers for that.

I get a Terminal screen when I try to install a program

It's happened a couple of times since I switched to Lion... I copy yhe dmg to the applications menu but instead of installing it I get a terminal window.
Am I just missing some soet of reader such as Adobe?

A "dmg" is a disk image. Double-click on that file and a "virtual disk" will mount on your desktop. Open that and drag the application into your Applications folder. (Note, not the Applications menu.) After the copy is done, eject the disk from your desktop and you can then delete the disk image file unless you need it for archival purposes or to install on other Macs.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities
Your computer needs the Windows support software in order to make everything run correctly in Windows. If you are using OS X Lion or OS X Mountain Lion, just start in OS X (holding the X key while your computer is starting), open Boot Camp Assistant and follow the steps to download the Windows support software into a USB drive. Finally, start in Windows and install the drivers. Also, you can check what Boot Camp version supports your Mac and download the latest version from the Apple site > http://support.apple.com/downloads
If you are using Snow Leopard, insert the Mac OS X DVD which came with your computer or the Snow Leopard disc and install the Boot Camp drivers in Windows

Not sure, but try these.
Disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the Sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut Off. To power up hold the Sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time (for about 10-15 seconds) until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider), then let go of the buttons.

I managed to boot the computer and get the desktop to show. I now have a "repaired" computer. There are several problems that have cropped up. One is that I can only start up now in Safe Boot mode. Is there a way to turn it off? Also, I do not have a sound list, so I can't access anything requiring audio. Google Chrome only shows up as a white screen. Pictures that loaded before don't load in browsers, etc. Any suggestions? I figure I should reinstall Mac OS Lion for starts, maybe even do a mirror backup and reformat the drive. I think this drive has turned into scrambled eggs...what a headache!
