Hi, I am running XP and previously had Adobe AIR installed ok. I recently removed the install of Adobe AIR and have tried to reload it but get the below error message:
"An error occurred while installing Adobe AIR. Installation may not be allowed by your administrator. Please contact your administrator."
I have tried safe mode, registry cleaners, turning of the firewall, pop ups and anti-virus, to installing as an Administrator without luck and get exactly the same error message. I notice I am not alone after searching Google but haven’t found anything that works.
I would really appreciate some guidance on what do next or from someone that has experienced the same issues.

Why do I receive error messages when installing Adobe air installation packages?

I have Adobe Air Applications installed on my Dell XPS laptop but when i try and add new applications I get an error messaage that the installation file is corrupt.
I am not convinced that this is the case, it is happening too often. I think that Adobe Air is the problem but Adobe seem oblivious and not offering any support.

Thanks. I tried it and got the same error message. To me it's obvious that Adobe upgrades and programs have serious bugs in their install programs. I find this incredible from a company that creates such sophisticated programs and they cannot create install programs that actually work!!

Getting 1603 adobe media encoder error message when installing adobe cs4

new to this.i am getting a error code 1603 stating that there's an fatal error with insatlling ADOBE MEDIA ENCODER in adobe cs4. i can not installed the program. i have a compaq presario that meets the minimum requirements. I have a relatively new HP Pavilion dv6936us Entertainment Notebook PC with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit. I cannot get adobe reader installed. I always get an error message or it says the install was interrupted. VERY frustrating! Please help. I have tried the automatic download. Also, the screen says " if download does not start automatically click here to download" and I have tried that too. Neither work.

Try being sure you are logged in as the administrator and have anti-virus turned off. Other than that, you should go to the Reader forum for that product.

When attempting to download the Adobe Premiere Elements 11 from the cd, I'm getting an error message that reads: "The installation process has encountered an error while installing Shared Technologies. Many of us have encounted this issue. The problem is not confined to a particular version or computer operating. Many homemade remedies and scientific ones have worked for some and not others. The most recent fix was offered by an ID by the name of Maud Barbara and seems to have been the answer for that user and at least one more.

Not to sure what type AVI files they are, the storage devise is at present offshore on a job.
Can you clarify, if you edit/import video footage with adobe premiere 10 and then create a file, the file or the original raw footage is not stored on computer for re-use, if it is stored, is it stored in the original format.

Error message when installing Flash Player : List of actions not found

I get an error message when trying to install Flash Player.
I use Windows 64 bit with Internet Explorer 64x.
I'm able to download, the installation starts but it stops before completing.
I get this error message (loosely transalated) :

How can I fix this ?

I solved my problem by installing the Flash Player from home.
The network security at work prevented me from completing installation.

I have a new MacBook Pro. I have OS 10.8.2. I cannot get FlashPlayer to download. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Flash Player 11 from the Adobe website. Doesn't work. Every time I try to download, I get an error message that says "Error: General Installation Error" Can someone PLEASE help? I've spent hours with this and am very frustrated.
