I got frustrated when changing my password and ended up getting about five e-mails from Apple, saying the same thing. Now my ipod won't show up in the itunes window.

Someone changed my password for my iPhone 4. I have attempted to restore my device now for 3 days, continually being hooked up to the computer, continually having to restart, continually having to power off and then place the device in DFU mode. If you open it to take out the battery from the iPhone then you forfeit all service for whatever reason from Apple in the future.
Have you attempt to connect it to your computer and then restore it from iTunes on your computer?

If you can't remember the Passcode, you need to restore the device from the computer it was last synced with.
Follow the instructions for putting the device in recovery mode > iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
That restores the iPod to factory settings.

You keep changing your Password? Have you done this from Settings > Store, tap your Apple ID, then sign out and sing in using the right ID and Password.

Upgraded to Windows Vista computer and now my ipod won't show videos/pics

I recently bought a new computer. Around the same time my ipod broke and I got a brand new one. Everything works on it except the videos and I can't sync any pics. The videos will show up in my recently added list, with the little tv pic but if click on it, I only get audio. The same thing happens under the recently added in my video playlist. However none of the videos, podcasts, or movies show up under their respective menus. All software is up to date, and all of the equipmnt is new. I'm at a loss. Please help.

However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components

Having trouble getting my music from seperate hard drive. Recently tried to have my new laptop see and play itunes on my wireless server, but not all music showed up, and now my music on my pc doesn't show all music either. Some wav files from ripping off cd, and some I've imported from windows media show up and all mp3 bought from store is there. But more than half is listed at bottom of library as unknown artist, unknown album etc.. WHATS UP!!!!

try backing up the adresses on a different computer.
1) connect iphone to computer
2) in itunes click "enable disk use"
3) locate the files in the iphone hard drive
4) copy and paste them on that computer
if it does wipe out your adress library, just revert to the backup. Although i don't know where the files will be on your iphone hard drive.

Every time I go to verify my iphone ID, i get the link in my email, I enter my user id and password and then i get a screen that says "SORRY, this session has expired". I have resent the link several times, and tried, turned off my phone and still no luck

The only thing that Im thinking could be the issue is that I just got the phone yesterday and it started to download is06 and didn't finish. I can't resume it where I'm at right now because there is no WI FI access so I will have to wait until I go home. Maybe because the software is updating it is causing it to time out? To effectively transfer ownership of the iPhone requires that it be "restored" as a new device.

The iPhone is not a backup device. Your computer backs up the iPhone, not the other way around. What you use to back up your computer is up to you - Macs use Time Machine. I assume PCs use something similar.
If her PC backup is dead you will have difficulty extracting content from the iPhone since it is not designed to work that way.
All her Apple purchases can easily be transferred to another iPhone. However, her contacts will be gone, as will any music or other contact obtained from sources other than Apple.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Store.
Select the Apple ID at the bottom.
Select Sign Out at the menu selection provided.
Follow this by signing in with your new Apple ID/iTunes store account.

Try rebooting and then try it. If it continues contact iTunes store support because it may be an error inside their system.

I had to same problem. I found forums about adding the DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in System Preferences - Networks I did that and it still didnt work. Just found another forum saying to go into System Preferences - Time and Date and check the Set time and Date automatically. And it worked for me. Hope it works for you too.
