When syncing, check the Movies/TV Shows Tab in the iPhone menu, and make sure ALL movies are synced (or select the ones you want to sync)

Sorry about the long title.....its my first post.
My kid just got a brand new iPod 5th generation (today from Santa) and it won't power up or charge. ITunes telling me to re-install iTunes when I connect my iPhone.
I couldn't find the proper solution for this, I'll play around with iTunes a little but in the mean time I'll ask the question here, maybe I'll get a decent answer.
The problem is, when I connect my iPhone to iTunes, I get an error telling me to re-install the 64-bit version of iTunes, which I have done multiple times.
I'm trying to find solutions on google, but I cannot find ANY solutions. I've found a toping saying you have to uninstall all apple programs, and then reinstall iTunes, I'll try that. If you know the solution on are experiencing the same thing, please let me know and I'll share the solution with you (if I find any).

I have a 30GB ipod. when i connect it to the computer and start itunes, and go to the "ipod" tab, and then "video", after that, none of the video buttons are active (such as "actomatically update all videos"; "do not update videos" etc.

Please help me.That's because you must have the iPod under the Music tab set to either
1-automatically update songs and playlists or
2-automatically update selected playlists
for the video tab to be accessible.
Once you select auto update then go to the video tab and select auto update or playlist update for videos. -

You described exactly how to do it. Simply connect the device and then deselect the option to launch iTunes when the device is connected.

Attempted to replace my front and back glass (for the second time, first time was successful) and i'm not sure where I went wrong but as the title says... it will not turn on and as I connect the battery to the motherboard it starts to get hot immediately after trying to turn it on. Sorry, but we can't help you with problems occurring after you have opened and tried to fix some hardware of the phone, due to the Terms of Use of these discussions.
The warranty for the phone is gone now and Apple will not service the phone either anymore. You'll have to look for a 3rd party repair center to get that fixed. -

Place the iPod in recovery mode to bypass the passcode (and essentially erase your iPod) and then restore via iTunes on your computer.

It says "iTunes could not connect to this iphone. Could not allocate a resource" Just upgraded to new imac.
When I migrated my old Mac Book, I had to use a different User name as the default one on the new Mac was the same as on my Mac. Didn't think about it or that it would matter. So I changed my user name for the default user and then changed the name on the user that accesses the migrated data to the one form the Mac book and now I do not have this problem. Not sure why but it works now

I understand that your App Store does not show your app updates. Please follow the steps below to help resolve the issue.
1. Close All Apps on iPad: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
2. Sign out of iTunes & App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Tap AppleID > Sign out
3. Reset All Settings: Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
4. Reboot iPad
5. Sign back into iTunes and App Stores: Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Sign In with AppleID

Thanks for the response. There is no cloud icon next to them. All of the songs play on the phone still and no song was purchased through iTunes. I added them manually and tried to remove them manually. According to my iTunes they've been removed but they are still on my phone and working.

Clean iPhone charging port with a clean dry toothbrush. Try a different USB cable. Try a different USB port on your computer, try a dedicated USB port on the back of computer.
Maybe a bit easier than DFU Mode is Recovery Mode. Open iTunes on computer, connect iPhone, hold both Home and Power buttons until iPhone is recognized in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Restore the Firmware.
