I had to download the latest version, how to I get fire ftp back?
I was required to download the latest version of firefox, I use Fire FTP to manage my company's website, I was able to find this under tools, it's now gone. I've found where I can download it, the computer tells me it's not compatible with the current version of Firefox, if I try it again, the computer tells me it will be available after I re-start. I've done this several times, each time I get a different result, but no Fire FTP showing up under my tools button, Please help!!!

Repair your Apple software update.
Go to START > ALL PROGRAMS > Apple Software Update. If it offers you a newer version of Apple Software Update, do it but Deselect any other software offered at the same time. Once done, try another iTunes install
If you don't find ASU, go to Control Panel:
START > CONTROL PANEL/ > Add n Remove Programs, highlight ASU and click CHANGE then REPAIR -

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

I am not sure what you want here - I opened Firefox and it had an Urgent symbol and message that my version of Firefox was not protected and that I should download new version - I downloaded the new version and then restarted my computer and I am still getting the same message every time I open Firefox
The update doesn't seem to have been successful. Your More system details list list shows a Firefox 3.5.19 version.
Download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox. -
Ever since I downloaded the latest iOS update and installed it to my IPod I have been having issues with my albums in the music app. When look at my album's in the side view i have a million of the same albums and allot wih the same art work as other difrent albums. When i say The cover art is the same i mean example there is a beetles cover art on a rod Stewart album and ALLOT of them are that way. Every thing seems to be fine in my iTunes library i guess, but on my iPod after installing this update. I'm haveing issues

As I said, the other day I had downloaded the latest version of Firefox and after doing so none of the icons for the different websites that normally go to are no longer there. Websites such as MSNBC, MSN, Most visited, that entire strip is no longer visible. I tired resetting Firefox and still nothing. Can anyone tell me how to get them to appear again? It's a hassle every time that I want to go to one of those sites I have to type it in the search bar, instead of just clicking on it as I did before. Please keep in mind if you answer, that I'm still learning about these things called computers and not very well versed in some of the things that you experts know:) Thanks
On Windows XP Firefox shows the menu bar by default and not the orange Firefox menu button that is shown when the menu bar is hidden.<br />
The menu bar is the toolbar at the top that shows menu items like File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Help.<br />
You can press the F10 key or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily in case this bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).
The Navigation Toolbar shows the Back and forward button and the input field where you type the address of a site that you want to visit (aka location bar) and also has a search bar where you can type items that you want to look up with a search engine (Google).

You may need to download Quicktime again (I can't remember if it's bundled with leopard or not)

You can retrieve purchased registration keys this way:

How do I manuallly download the latest version of Firefox on top of my current version?
I have an iMac version 10.7.5. I'm currently running Firefox Version 14 and I keep getting prompts to allow automatic updating (currently to version 17). However, when the prompt says "connecting to the update server," it never connects. So my questions are:
a.) Is there a way to correct this problem so that I can automatically update?
b.) If not, how do I update manually (I've found the Mozilla site's explanations incomplete/confusing.) Can I just download the latest version and it'll configure to what I already have, or do I need to delete my current version and reinstall completely? And what will happen to my settings (e.g. bookmarks) if I update on top of my current version, or update by completely replacing the current version?If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

When I call up some web sites sometimes the web site comes up 3 or 4 times...how do I stop this from happening? For example if I click on a link the exact same link comes up 3 or 4 times and I have to manually delete all of them but one.Do you organise your email into separate folders, or do you just let it accumulate in the Inbox?
I would strongly advise you not to let it sit in the Inbox.
When you see this happening, try right-click on the affected folder, select '''Properties''' then '''Repair Folder'''.
Large folders (actually, a folder in Thunderbird is stored as a file, so it is sensitive to file size limits set by the underlying file system) can be problematic. This is one reason not to let messages collect in one folder. I use Thunderbird's Archive folders so that accumulated mails over several years can happily coexist because they are effectively stored in many small folders. No single mail store folder then exceeds the 2GB or 4GB sizes that have been known to stress the OS. I appreciate that current builds of Thunderbird and a modern 64-bit OS should be able to cope, but practically I find it slows down when given huge files, so I err towards a pragmatic solution; a large number of not very big files.
Archives are searchable, and a Saved Search folder can give you a virtual composite folder allowing access to the entire Archive. -
When I try to download the latest version of iTunes from apple.com, I get the message "Content was blocked because it was not signed by a valid security certificate."When I open iTunes and try to download the latest version there, I get the message "iTunes has an invalid signature. The download has been removed." I have also gotten an Internet Script Error stating that an error has occured in Line 0, Char O and that "Access is denied to images.apple.com/global/scripts/lib/iepngfix.htc." This problem has never occurred with earlier versions of ITunes. Anyone know how to fix this problem?
Are you downloading iTunes form an Apple website or somewhere else? If the answer is somewhere else, try downloading it from Apple. Click on iTunes in the black menu bar above and go from there.

I have had to restore my pc to a place back in time when it worked correctly. This meant that iTunes was deleted. I have now downloaded the latest version of iTunes but I cant sync my iPad with it. I get the message that this iPad is synced with another iTunes Library and cant sync to this one. Thankfully all my music library is on iPad. I would be grateful for some help on this issue
