I have 2nd gen iPod nano with songs from iTunes but also burnt from CDs. I now have a new laptop currently without iTunes or any music on. Is there anyway for me to connect the iPod to iTunes on the laptop and not loose all of the songs on it?
Pretty much as it says above. I don't want to loose all my old songs that weren't downloaded and am wondering if there's anyway that I can make sure there safe to connect it to a new laptop with no music on at present.
Any help or advice would be great :-)

Thanks for trying, no it did not help. The article describes getting song from apple devices to PC, not the other way around. I will try ringing tech support tomorrow.

I can't contact support directly because I need my serial number to enter chat. You access the serial number on the phone under settings. I can't because the phone won't turn on, it just says connect to iTunes. I can't call for support, because again, the phone doesn't work and I don't have a landline. Is there no way to avoid losing all my contacts, texts and pictures?!? I'm freaking out.
Your iPhone is in recovery mode.
Anything that you did not back up has been lost already.
You need to restore the phone using iTunes. You can restore from a backup once the software is reinstalled.

The screen cracked when it shouldnt have, on a simple fall and i read on other discussions that some ipods have been replaced by the company?
Although "drops" are not covered by the warranty, sometimes the Apple Genius will replace the iPod at no cost. It is up to their discretion. The only way to find out is to make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I just lost my ipod touch some how i retaced my steps all over but nothing. So i called apple to see why the moblieme.com cant locate it, a supporter said, "the ipod touch is more of a iphone lacking the antenna to be located on a celluar town", so i was hoping that if i gave them a serial number of the ipod touch that they can locate it when its pluged into computer? Can that be done?
As provided, this cannot be done, just as it cannot be done with any other music player/device.

- Transfer iTunes purchases by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer any other music by using a thrid-party porgram like one of those discussed here:
Copy music
- Connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not include synced items like apps and music. -
Safari running slow and not loading all of the page
A couple of days ago Safari, started to runn slow on some sites and won't fil the hole progress bar. for several minutes, leaving the website with bitts missing. Im also getting wre it won't load the pages at all. But when i try the site using firefox or Opera they work ok. When safari stop working its is as if safari is not requesting any data as i have a meter that checks my upload and download rates and it is not moving at all. But then next day safri will work ok on all sites and then stop with no worning.
Pls help.Try this:
Empty Safari's cache (from the Safari menu), then close Safari.
Go to Home/Library/Safari and delete the following files:
form values
download.plist
Then go to Home/Library/Preferences and delete
com.apple.Safari.plist
Repair permissions.
Start up Safari again, and things should have improved.

I downloaded the upgrades for itunes and it then said i had to download MSVCR80.dll i think i downloaded that but now i have a runtime issue of R6034. How do i get my itunes to work again without loosing anything?

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

Why would someone launch a newer version and not get all of the bugs out first?
Facebook will not load. Email will not load. Nothing will load. Firefox is not compatible with my anti-virus, so it disabled. All Adobe files were lost in the download process. FF is running soooo slow. I uninstalled FF and now cannot reinstall. When I go to mozilla.com there in no "download now" button. What is up with this?

i have several ipod nanos. i can sync one, but since i connected the ipad 2 I am getting an error on two of them, it says cannot sync, error 13019. the loaded songs show on the computer (on the ipods), but not when the ipod is plugged off the usb. Any answers? please
You can sync your iPod with multiple computers, but what can be synced is very limited. See this article for more details.

I have an iPod Nano with just the USB charger. Is it safe to plug this into my Kindle power adaptor to charge from the mains or will I need to buy the Apple one?
