When I attempt to import the taken RAW images iPhoto informs me that the images are not in a readable format yet they are RAW images. There are several ways
Shoot JPEG rather than RAW
Use the Canon software (or other third party software like Adobe) to convert images prior to importing to iPhoto
Wait until your camera is supported

Exactly what files are you trying to open?
Exactly how are you trying to open them (what menu command or button or mouse action or keyboard shortcut)?

I've had this happen several times... I suspect the download was interrupted for some unreported reason so it only has a partial file or has a corrupt byte in the file it failed to catch.
Just delete the local copy and re-download from the cloud and they play fine.

I recently purchased the new iPhone and bought a folding wallet case. On one side there are slots for credit cards and the other holds the phone. I noticed that the credit cards are making an impression in my phone screen. I don't put my phone in my back pocket, always carry it in my front slacks pocket. I solved the problem. Had nothing to do with Mac or iphoto. Problem must be my the internet connection to my provider.
Upload at my office worked without any problem. One problem solved, now i am aware with a lot of discussions with my providers helpdesk ;-)

What upgrade did you apply? As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and test to see if the same problem persists. Does it?

When you respond to an incoming call by pressing the green button, your cellular provider may take a second or two to actually get the connection going.
Instead of saying "Hello" twice, try waiting a second or two until the first "Hello" from when you click the green button.

When I download music into Itunes and move songs into playlists, Itunes has twice randomly deleted all recently added songs from the playlists they have been added to. It is driving me crazy. Has anyone else had this problem?

When I download music into Itunes on my PC, every song is transferred into a specific playlist. Twice now when I have opened up Itunes, all the recent songs that have been moved into playlists have been deleted by Itunes. I now have to go back and figure out which songs are missing and re-add them. It is driving me crazy. I have 10,000 songs and now have no idea which ones are missing and which ones have been retained.

Since upgrading to iTunes 10.5.2 Drag&Drop no longer works in iTunes. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

When I upgraded to iTunes 10.5.2 I lost the ability to Drag&Drop. I started a new playlist and I could only add songs by cut and paste, and once they were on the list I can’t rearrange them in any other order.

I realized I can't drag and drop either, but I barely have any songs and I've never noticed if this feature was there before 10.5.2. Is this only on a playlist?

It appears to be out of date so far as the warranty is concerned. There may have been some minor detritus slipped down the side of the key. See if you can find a buush with stiff but fine hair. Perhaps a toothbrush. Then brush around the key. It is possible to remove the key if you are very careful and that would make it easier but you have to be very careful. You are sure there hasn't been any liquid spilt; even the smallest amount can cause a drama..
