I have a file that will not let me access it and I can not make myself the owner even though I created it
I am trying to do something and whenever I try to run it it tells me "The file “start.command” could not be executed because you do not have appropriate access privileges." and if I go to the info about the file and try to make myself an owner it will not let me do it and it is just gray.
I really would really like someone to help me because I promised my friend I would do this.

sudo chown username:admin <path to file>

I have some albums that only a few tracks are recognized and others are not. We usually advice first to Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache in case of such problem and then do a check for extensions to see if any are causing the problem.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

I have an image that I removed from its back ground and I would like to scale the bottom portion of the image because its to wide but not have that effect the top portion of the image which is the correct width. but also keep the aspect ratio correct, keep it looking as natural as possible (its a piece of jewlery) ? how can I begin to do this.
The area circled in red is to wide (the width) the necklace's width is as wide as the models entire chest. And also the length of the necklace it's to long it should come down to the clevage area on the model/woman.

What happened directly, before you could no longer open your iPhoto library?
Did you install or upgrade software?
Did you import new photos to your iPhoto library?
Are other programs also behaving buggie?
Did you move your iPhoto library to a new harddisk?
Did you run other programs, that might have changes the iPhoto library?
How full is your harddrisk? Could it be, that you are running out of disk space?
Anything at all, that could give us a clue ...

Just confirming, when you have the trouble, the wifi icon is grayed-out or has all bars showing? I believe you are saying that is is grayed-out - not connected to your wireless router.
I have a Mini that started to lose connection to the Internet after the 10.7.3 update but still showed the wireless as connected. If I pinged the wireless router, I would get a quarter of the packets failing to return. The router was a Netgear that supported 802.11N connections. As a test, I set it to 802.11G (54MBps) maximum and the Mini worked fine for a week - no dropouts. And for the other devices that did support 802.11N, while there was a noticeable delay with downloads and pages loading, they still worked.
As another test, I changed the Netgear router to a Billion 802.11N model and the Mini has not had a problems since. (It is still using 802.11g). So it could be your router that is causing trouble for your Mac.
Have a look at some of the More Like This postings in the right column. There has been a number of Mac owners experiencing wifi connection issues and some very good suggestions as to how to resolve their issue. -

I downloaded a series and only 4 episodes will show why can't I watch the others even though I purchased the entire series. It won't let me watch and every time is select the little cloud it tells me that it is downloading but nothing happens. I have tried to sync it on my PC but I could only get the first couple of episodes.

Firefox will not let me sign in and it does not work, in general; there are many bugs.
1. Firefox will no longer allow me to set a homepage.

Did you download Firefox from the official Mozilla site? Sometimes if you search on Google or any search provider, they sometimes have "Advertised links" which are sometimes Firefox bundles that have been slightly modified/shipped with malicious software.
